On this day, 20 years ago, Cartoon Network broadcasted the very 1st episode of Cartoon Network's Fridays.
A block that was very controversial for the fact that it depicted segments with live action hosts in-between each show.
The block was hosted by Tommy Snider and Nzinga Blake, until she decided to leave and was replaced by Tara Sands.
While I never watched Fridays when it aired, it still holds a special place in my heart. Why, you ask?
Well, that's because in September 2014, a company called Great-5 Productions (which is associated with CN (but also not actually real)) brought Fridays back in the form of live-streaming online, as well as filming the show in the cartoon world instead of the real world. This era of Fridays lasted a long time, from September 12, 2014 - February 5, 2021.
And all this month, I'll be posting different moments from throughout the block's existence (both eras). Now, there isn't a set schedule for when these will come up (with a few exceptions), because I'm too busy with college to set up a full schedule for this.
I'll go into the revival era more throughout this month, but here's what you need to know for now.
With Fridays coming back, it was decided that the show would be filmed live, but still scripted. Tommy and Tara were also brought back for the block's return. Not only that, but in the beginning, they also brought on different CN characters to be in the background.
This included me, since I was a part of "PBS Kids GO!" (the series, not the PBS block), which aired on Fridays. Eventually, I became a co-host myself. However, let's just say that I sometimes acted a bit annoying and unprofessional when I started out (especially since I was only 10 when this era of Fridays began).
Now, you're probably wondering, "Davis, why didn't you guys ask Nzinga to come on to co-host?"
...........
(No seriously, why didn't I ever decide to bring her on?)
(I don't think I ever had an explanation. I mean, sure, she did have a cameo at some point in either 2017 or 2018, but-...)
(Oh wait, sorry, back to the history)
In the beginning, the lineup was filled with either reruns of old CN shows that were strangely listed as new episodes (i.e. Foster's and Billy & Mandy) or shows that were produced by Great-5 Productions (i.e. PBS Kids GO! and Wii Sports Resort when it premiered in November (the show was adapted from the Nintendo Game of the same name)).
Another thing that occurred (at least in the 1st few years) was that the block would sometimes just not be broadcasted. This would happen for a number of reasons (scheduling issues, the cast being busy with other stuff, etc.). Fortunately, this stopped by the summer of 2018.
Okay, so about the picture above. The designs I've used for Tommy and Tara are based on how they looked around the time of the "Yes!" era, including Tara with her slightly-blonde hair, and Tommy with his Black hair and sideburns. These designs would also be used for the livestreams, starting with our January 3, 2020 show.
They're certainly more detailed than my very 1st designs for them (which they had from Sep. 2014 - early 2019). Tommy's hair was just a bunch of lines pointed upwards, and Tara's wasn't much different.
One more thing, if you're wondering why the Fridays logo looks slightly off, that's because it's an AI upscaling of the logo. I couldn't find a high quality picture of the CNF logo anywhere, not even a recreation of it.
Stay tuned this month for more Fridays content!
Okay, now go away, I'm busy studying for a test.

October 25, 2019 (again):
Kid (dressed as Harley Quinn): We're about to return to more of "Ed, Edd n Eddy's Costume Tragedy", but first...
(TRANSITION)
(Tara is shown telling a scary story with a flashlight and book, while the studio's lights are dimmed)
Tara (dressed as Numbuh 362): And it was then, that the table somehow started to move! Even though no one had ever decided to give the heavy table any wheels. The man stood there in horror as the haunted table started levitating up off the ground. And before he knew it-
Tommy (dressed as Numbuh 1, and hiding in a fake bush): The table did a jig and then broke itself in half!!
Audience: *groaning and mumbling about how lame the story was*
Tara: Tommy, what are you doing?!
Tommy: What? I'm trying to add to your story!
Tara: By jumping out from a bush and spouting nonsense?
Tommy: It's not nonsense! I'm surprising them with a sudden ending!
Tara: Well, it's certainly sudden... and abrupt... and not scary at all...! Listen, either leave me alone and let me tell a scary story, or I'm out of here.
Tommy: You're leaving?
Tara: Well, I will if you want to try to tell a scary story yourself.
Tommy: *sigh* Fine, I'll just go bob for apples... again.
Tara: Thank you...
Tommy (as he walks away): Hey, Vernon! Could you make some space for me, please?
(TRANSITION)
Rubersh (dressed as a trash can): Now back to more of "Ed, Edd n Eddy's Costume Tragedy", right here on Fridays.
================================================
So, there's quite a bit going on here, so let's get through this.
Yes, I know I already posted a segment from this show, but I felt that I couldn't just leave it at one segment. The segments for this night were rather packed (or at least more packed than the Halloween shows in 2017 and 2018). Plus, I wanted an excuse to show how the main Fridays studio looked during October 2019.
About the Harley Quinn costume, it turned out that nearly all of the girls in the audience dressed as Harley Quinn for some reason. Nothing wrong about it, just kinda weird.
Tara wasn't wearing a wig for her costume. She actually dyed her hair yellow for the costume. This is why her hair would remain yellow for the rest of the year.
Now, since this is my last post of the month, does that mean that I'm finished with Fridays art? Not at all; I'll still be posting Fridays art, just not as much as I did this month. I gotta get to preparing for my 20th birthday this Saturday.
But for now, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

(NOTE: The segments for this week were filmed in October 2019, prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic)
October 23, 2020:
Tara: Tommy, could you please get out of your fetal position?
Tommy: Tara, they have a freaking brain on display!!
Tara: Oh come on! *picks up brain* Tommy, this thing is made out of plastic!
Tommy: I don't care what it's made of, I'm not going near that thing!
Tara: So you admit that you're too scared?
Tommy: N-No, I'm not scared. I just... don't like fake brains...
Tara: Yeah, sure... Come on, let's keep going.
Tommy: *stays in fetal position for a few more seconds*
Tara: TOMMY, LET'S GO!
Tommy: Okay, okay, fine.
================================================
Before you say anything, no, this is not Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.
For Halloween 2019, Tommy and Tara decided to visit the Gates of Misery in Rome, GA.
However, due to how busy we already were in terms of Fridays stuff during October 2019, we decided to pre-record the show and wait until October 2020 to release the segments.
This pre-recording thing also explains why Tommy and Tara are in their 2019 designs.
Fun Fact: This was the 1st week of October 2020 to be Halloween themed (after 3 weeks of celebrating previous shows). This week, we gave a special presentation of the 1993 movie "The Halloween Tree", a movie that I recommend you guys check out.

October 25, 2019 (pre-recorded on October 4, 2019):
Kid (wearing a pirate costume): We're about to watch another episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog, but first...
(TRANSITION)
Chao: Hey Davis, I think it's about time we do some traveling.
Davis (in Scorpi's body): Oh, oh, can I pick one this time??
Chao: *sigh* As long as it's not another Mixels promo.
Davis: Don't worry, it isn't. Since it's October, I wanted to show off a CN spot that I think is really spooky. One that I think about every Halloween.
Chao: Ooooh, do you mean-
Davis: I certainly do.
Chao: Well, go right ahead.
Davis: Ladies and gentlemen, let's take a trip to Spain with a special Halloween edition of Cartoon Network Around the World!!!
Audience: *applause*
*a 2008 CN Halloween commercial from Spain plays, click here to check it out yourself*
Audience: *applauds once the spot ends*
Chao: Man, you sure do love that commercial from Spain, huh?
Davis: Chao, I've been a fan of it since I was like... 7 or something.
Chao: I see.
(TRANSITION)
Kid (wearing a dinosaur costume): We take you now to another episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog and "King Ramses' Curse", right here on Fridays.
================================================
For October 2019, each Friday night consisted almost entirely of episodes of "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy" and "Courage the Cowardly Dog".
I say "almost entirely" because we still had to premiere new episodes each week, specifically of Mixels (due to contract mandates).
However, to not make it seem as if we were putting Mixels on a pedestal with this (since the contract stuff was kept secret), we decided to also keep airing new episodes of Wii Sports Resort each week.
11/6 UPDATE: We didn't just assume that people would be upset about us only airing new Mixels episodes each week, this had actually happened prior to October 2019. On January 4, 2019, Fridays celebrated Ed, Edd n Eddy's 20th anniversary with the most popular episodes of the show. However, we still needed to air a new Mixels because of the contract stuff. Naturally, Fridays was highly criticized for, as you may have guessed, putting Mixels on a pedestal over the other shows. Once again, the contract mandates weren't known by anyone at the time (except for the people who worked on Fridays).
One more thing, the reason this was pre-recorded was because Chao (the Mixel with brown hair that I didn't create) wanted to include a Halloween edition of our "Around the World" segment for the last Friday before Halloween.
However, because we were hosting the latter 3 weeks of the month in a haunted house set (which was identical to the Halloween 2005 set), we decided to pre-record the segment on October 4, as that was the only October 2019 show where we hosted on our normal Fridays set.
There also another segment from October 25, 2019 that I'll be sharing with you. That'll come out tomorrow.

October 20, 2017:
(Tommy is shown eagerly flying around in circles)
Tara: Are you sure that you're not gonna get dizzy from this?
Tommy: Tara, I can't help it! This is the 1st time I've ever been able to fly in a circle...!
Tara: Okay... Now back to tonight's new "Machine Factory".
Tommy: Yeah, right here on Fridays!! (he continues flying until he gets dizzy)
Tara: Told you so...
================================================
Since Tommy and Tara wouldn't be hosting on October 27, 2017, they decided to do something big for the week prior.
As you can see, they decided to spend the night as ghosts.

October 28, 2016:
Tommy (dressed as "Prankenstein"): Y'know, why does Prankenstein always have to be the one getting pranked, instead of being the one doing the pranking? Has he ever pulled a prank of his own?
Tara (dressed as the "Bride of Prankenstein"): Why are you asking me?
Tommy: Well, everyone else is busy with the trick-or-treating contest, so we're the only ones here.
Tara: Alright, fine. But still, I didn't write or direct that movie, so I wouldn't know.
Tommy: I mean, I'm sure he has pulled a few of his own, right? He's gotta have done so at some point. Maybe if I ever come across him...
Tara: Come across him? You mean you wanna meet Prankenstein himself?
Tommy: Yeah, I wonder what he would say to me...
Tara: He'd probably tell you that you're wearing the wrong outfit.
Tommy: Wait, what?
Tara: He wore a blazer, Tommy, not just an ordinary black jacket.
Tommy: Oh yeah, I couldn't find one in my dressing room. I thought it was pretty strange, I could've sworn that I had one, but I...
(he continues to talk, but Tara just stops listening)
Tara: Alright, let's get back to tonight's new "PBS Kids GO!" Halloween special...
================================================
You probably have 2 questions, so let's answer them...
Who is "Prankenstein"?
That's the name of a prankster version of Frankenstein's monster. The character was created for a Fridays skit that aired on October 27, 2006.
10 years later, the hosts decided to dress up as Prankenstein (Tommy) and his bride (Tara), as they also played the characters in the original skit.
2. What is this "trick-or-treating contest" that Tommy is talking about?
For that show, a contest was held that every member of the audience participated in. Several rounds were held in a virtual neighborhood throughout the night to see who could collect the most candy. The winner would receive a golden jack-o'-lantern. One that would never go bad, and could be continuously used every Halloween.
I don't remember who won, but I'm sure they still have their prize.
11/2 Update: Almost forgot to discuss why I was absent this week.
Anyway, like I said in my post of October 21st, the reason for my absence on October 28, 2016 was... a lot.
Or at least what happened that weekend was enough to wear me out.
First, I intended to be part of the 10/28/2016 show, and was even going to partake in the trick-or-treating contest that week. However, I was forced by my Elementary School to hold a "Halloween Sleepover" that Friday night, so I missed the entire show.
My backup plan was to personally sit down and watch the stream on Saturday night at 7pm (the same time the show started). But then, I was forced by my parents to watch "The Nightmare Before Christmas" in the living room, since we didn't get a chance to watch a movie on Friday (due to the sleepover).
By Sunday, I had just lost interest in trying to watch the event at all, after everything that kept messing me up. Plus, I had school the next day, and it's not like I'd be allowed to stay up late for my whole "simultaneous time slot watching" thing on a Sunday night.

(apologies for some of the foul language here. An explanation will be given after the transcript)
October 27 (technically 28), 2017:
Davis: Geez, it's pretty strange being up so late. Normally, my parents would've asked me to get ready for bed hours ago.
Eniz: Well, don't worry, we've only got an hour left tonight. With that, here's a new episode of Ed, Edd n-
Davis: Wait wait wait! I thought we were ending at 3, right?
Eniz: Yeah, the crew decided to end the show an hour earlier.
Davis: A-And I thought we were airing those scary fan-made episodes of Blue's Clues that I made earlier this month.
Eniz: *sigh* For f**k's sake, Davis...
Davis: No, I made it clear that I wanted us to air my 2 episodes of Blue's Clues...!
Eniz: Davis, it's not happening.
Davis: Oh, really? Why the h**l not?? Because they're about murder mysteries? Only one of them is a murder mystery, and-
Eniz: THAT'S THE F*****G PROBLEM!!! Everyone is absolutely f*****g sick of your constant murder stories lately! That "Halloween Disaster" episode you aired earlier this week? Absolutely no one liked it! They don't want to see Blue's Clues with death and horror elements! They didn't even play Blue's Clues in that episode!
Davis: But everyone comes back to life and-
Eniz: JUST LIKE NEARLY EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR MURDER STORIES!!
Davis: E-Eniz, stop! I want to be innocent, I don't-
Eniz: Give it up already! No one wants to hear another word about your CRAPPY BLUE'S CLUES FAN FICTION!!!
(after a few seconds, I quietly walk away from the living room)
Wesley: Heh, an adult Blue's Clues episode. What a piece of s**t...
Davis (offscreen): WESLEY, SHUT THE F**K UP!!!
(Eniz sits back down)
Eniz: *sigh* Sorry about that everyone. Let's just get to tonight's new Ed, Edd n Eddy Future already.
Wesley: Yeah, the show that's basically just f*****g Wobots, but with Ed, Edd n Eddy characters. So stupid...
Davis (offscreen): IT'S NOT STUPID!
================================================
Yeah, we accidentally forgot the Fridays Halloween logo that year, blame that on me.
Also no, the argument was not scripted. She was genuinely upset with me.
Now for context, this night was hosted by me, my twin brother named "Wesley", and a character named "Eniz", instead of Tommy and Tara.
Eniz is another character from the TV show version of "PBS Kids GO!"
For this week, instead of filming in the Fridays studio, we filmed in the house of Eniz's brother. I can't remember what his name was, but I think he was called "Ned".
This was also a special week, as it was the 1st Fridays show that continued past midnight.
I had made a concept for that week's schedule, and at 1:00am were 2 fan made episodes of Blue's Clues that I created.
One of those episodes was called "The Halloween Disaster". I won't go into the plot too much, but basically, it's just a murder mystery where the house is haunted, and characters keep dying one by one.
By October 2017, my obsession with murder mystery stories was getting out of control. In hindsight, I wish I had never made those stories because almost all of them revolved around the same ideas.
And yeah, about the constant swearing. By fall 2016, me and my friends were feeling much more comfortable with saying swear words (even though we were only 13-15 years old at the time).
Again, this was mainly my fault, as it was also my idea to give the block a TV-14 rating due to the swearing. I even wanted the crew to add a warning before the intro that the block was "intended for adult audiences only", similar to TeenNick's "The Splat" (now called "NickRewind").
This went on until April 2018, when I finally realized that what I was doing to Fridays ended up making it fairly unpleasant and uncomfortable to watch for several viewers.
What caused to me to finally snap out of it was when I was caught by my mother saying the f-word. I wasn't even talking to anyone, I was just saying something with the f-word in it as if it wasn't a big deal!
Afterwards, I was grounded for the rest of the day. A day or so later, I contacted the Fridays crew and apologized for all the damage I had done as a result of making Fridays way more vulgar than it needed to be.
Thankfully, by the time we got to the next show (April 13, 2018), the cast (especially me) had finally cleaned their act up.
Also, fun fact, that 4/13/18 show involved Tommy and Tara interviewing the cast of a movie called "Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero". Obviously, due to the movie's tone, the interviews were more serious, but hey, at least they didn't contain any vulgar language!

(Sorry this ended up being posted a few hours later than expected, I was extremely busy today)
October 21, 2016:
Tommy: Hey, do you know if there are any ghosts here?
Tara: Why are you asking me? You're the one who suggested we host in this house.
Tommy: Oh, right... I mean, I don't see anyone, or anything, that would resemble a ghost.
Tara: You better not still be referring to the long-haired type of ghost that everyone refers to, nowadays...
*suddenly, lightning strikes, and a ghostly woman appears in-between them while both of their backs are turned*
Tommy: Tara, why would you think I'm still talking about...
*Tommy turns and sees the ghost*
Tommy: Uh, T-Tara? Behind you...
Tara: Ugh, now is not the time for-
*she gasps in fear upon seeing the ghost*
(They stand there in fear for a few seconds, with spooky music in the background)
Ghost (in an echoey voice): Hello... Do you guys know where I can get a haircut...?
(the spooky music grinds to a halt once she asks her question)
Tommy: A-A haircut...?
Ghost: Yes, I can barely see anything, my hair is too thick to part it, and I don't even have a comb...
Tara: Uh, s-sure, I... I think I might know someone...
Tommy (whispering): Tara, what are you doing?!
Tara: What? All she wants is a haircut.
Tommy: Really? Are we sure she isn't going to steal our souls or something?!?!
(The ghost's frown grows bigger, and she begins to whimper. Tara looks at Tommy in disgust)
Ghost: *sniffles*
Tommy: I, uh... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say those things... How about this, maybe I can-
Ghost: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAA!!! JUST KIDDING! I totally knew someone was gonna assume that I'm only out for blood!
Tommy: Oh uh... yeah, you... you sure got me...
(the ghost falls to the floor laughing)
Tara: *sigh* Let's just get to tonight's new Billy & Mandy. Look, I'll go get our hair stylist. Hey, has anyone seen Linda?
================================================
Background of haunted house came from here.
If you were wondering, this haunted house is based on Loftus Hall, a supposedly haunted house in Ireland. Obviously, it's not meant to be the same house, mainly because the scary legends surrounding Loftus Hall were never acknowledged here.
Don't worry, by the way, this was actually all scripted and rehearsed in advance.
Tommy didn't actually mean to say those mean things on purpose, those were just his lines.
Now, this lineup of segments was originally supposed to be shown on October 14, but then that week was skipped because one of the hosts probably had an appointment or something, I don't remember.
I was also originally gonna be a part of this, but then I was forced by my family to watch a spooky movie in the living room (I think it was Corpse Bride, but I don't remember).
Thankfully, due to the skipping of a week, that gave the script writers enough time to alter the script to not have me in it.
And this wouldn't be the only week that month where this movie thing got in my way. This also happened on October 14, 2016, and it nearly happened on October 7, 2016 before my parents changed their mind.
And my absence on October 28, 2016 is its own story.
UPDATE: Just looked it up, and I was wrong. I actually DID end up being forced to watch a movie on October 7, 2016.

January 19, 2007:
Wild About Winter
Tara: *sigh* Let me tell you another reason Winter is great.
Tommy: There's more?
Tara: Well yeah, like did you know that many perennial plants profit from the insulating effects of snow?
Tommy: No, no I didn't.
Tara: Mm-hmm, and the crisp air is good for allergies!
Tommy: That's great, that's really great!
Tara: Mm-hmm, probably the best reason to be wild about Winter, Tommy, is this: The giant Winter ham!
Tommy: Oh that's r- what...?
Tara: Oh yeah, it's right over there.
================================================
Yep, I managed to draw out a segment from January 2007, the very last month of taped shows from the original Fridays block.
Of course, I had to pick the one where Tommy and Tara are different animals, just like the bat one from before.
Alright, stay tuned. Tomorrow, we'll start drifting more towards the Halloween-related segments!

June 14, 2019:
Tommy: Y'know, I kinda like these monitor things. Why don't we have these things in our studio?
Tara: Probably because we don't really have any space for them.
Tommy: Are you sure? I think we could fit these somewhere.
Tara: Tommy, I think we couldn't.
Tommy: No, I'm sure these could fit perfectly in the Fridays studio.
Tara: Oh really? Where?
Tommy: Probably next to the poster wall, that would-... Wait, maybe not that. We need to walk through that area.
Tara: Mm-Hmm
Tommy: Maybe the... um... the... uhhhhhhh-
Tara: *AHEM*
Tommy: Huh? Oh yeah, still thinking... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Tara: *sigh* Never mind. Can we just get to the next program, already?
Tom (The Announcer): Coming up next on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, it's tonights brand new episode of "Mixels", followed by a new "PBS Kids GO!" at 8:30, and a new "Ed, Edd n Eddy" at 9! Right here on-... wait, I-I thought Ed, Edd n Eddy ended.
Tara: Yeah, it's a long story...
Tommy: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-
Tara: Tommy, Mixels is next!
Tommy: Wha? Oh yeah, let's watch that...
================================================
For those not aware, June 11, 2019 was the 20th anniversary of one of CN's most famous blocks, Cartoon Cartoon Fridays!
So, to celebrate, Fridays recreated the bright and ribbon-filled CCF studio that existed from 2000-2003, replicated segments from the original 1999 era of CCF (stargazing, weather reporting, etc.) with Cartoon Cartoon characters in the roles for those segments (for example, Chicken from Cow and Chicken did the weather report), and even brought back Tom Clark to be the announcer.
Sure, Tommy and Tara still hosted, since it's Fridays, and we were asked by the network to keep the lineup unchanged that week, but we still tried to put as much focus on the Cartoon Cartoon characters as possible.
In the Mixels studio, we kind of celebrated the occasion, but we were mainly focused on celebrating Bumper Robinson's birthday, with Footi of the Spikels co-hosting with me and Chao.
Oh yeah, and I'm sure there's someone out there who may ask this...
Q: Why did you make Tara's hair orange?
A: That's just what her hair looked like at the time.

February 6, 2004:
Time now for All My Fridays...
Nzinga: It's all over with Hector Con Carne. There's a new man in my life now... his name is Plank.
Tommy: You don't mean...
Nzinga: Yes, I'm afraid it's true...
Tommy: I must tell you, Nzinga. That man treats affection like... treated lumber treats water. You can pour as much as you want on him, but he just repels every drop...!
Nzinga: Oh, you don't know him like I do. He's as strong as a tree!
Tommy: And dumber than a stump... dumber than a stump...!
================================================
Oh, come on. You didn't think I was gonna act like 2004 didn't happen, did you?
Okay, to be fair, the issue was that I couldn't decide which segment to pick at 1st, since Fridays was way more skit based around this time (mainly from February 20, 2004 to December-ish 2004).
And yes, I'm aware that the Fridays logo wasn't included in this segment (as was the case for many of the block's segments before 2/20/2004), but I just felt like including it anyway.

September 8, 2006:
Ruff-Ruff: He Thinks He's People
*Tommy and Tara walk into the scene and see Ruff-Ruff eating cereal*
Tommy: Hey Tara, look at Ruff-Ruff!
Tara: Aw, I know! Isn't he so cute?
Tommy: C'mon boy! *pulls out a squeaky toy* Get your toy, boy!
*Ruff-Ruff frustratedly takes it and puts it behind himself (if that makes any sense)*
Tara: ... Good boy?
Tommy: I don't know how to react to that...
================================================
I don't why I made this, it isn't even all that funny.
I will say, Ruff-Ruff looks much cuter as an actual dog... or at least he would've if I tried to make him look better.
Also, don't worry. The rest of the segments this month won't just be from the "Yes!" era.

August 4, 2006:
Tara: Hey, shoelace is untied. Don't trip.
Tommy: Oh. Okay, thanks.
*quickly proceeds to knock multiple pieces of furniture over before falling onto a couch, which he also knocks over*
Tara: I told him he was gonna trip.
Tommy: I was just tryna tie-... Hey, wait a minute, I don't have laces!
*sees Tara walking away*
Tommy: Doooop!
================================================
Sorry if I drew Tara's hair incorrectly. I'm personally not a fan of the way her hair sometimes looked during July and August 2006, mainly because of how difficult it is to draw.
Sure, people are allowed to do whatever they want with their hair, but still.
I certainly had a much easier time with Tommy's hair, since it's very similar to 1/13/06, just darker and with a red streak.
Also, while we don't have a recording from when this segment actually aired, the segment was shown again on December 29, 2006, as part of the block's "Best of 2006" show.
Big thanks to "Rocker" for sharing his recording of this night.

Once again, Tommy and Tara's Country Drive
*Tommy and Tara are shown in a car, with Tommy driving. The car soon starts spinning*
Tara: Uh, Tommy? Tommy, you're off the road!
*The car continues spinning*
Tara: Tom-TOMMY! YOU'RE OFF THE ROADDD!!!!!
This has been Tommy and Tara's Country Drive

I honestly wasn't sure which segment to draw in order to depict Tommy and Tara's Fall 2006 hairstyles. Even now, I still feel I could've picked a better segment.
Now, while we don't have the actual recording of this segment, it was actually re-aired on February 2, 2007, as part of CN's Best of Fridays thing they did, right before the block was cancelled. Big thanks to online user "p7" for capturing this segment.
Also, credit to Connor Beekman, who created the spinning forest that I decided to steal use for the background.
Oh, and apologies for the poorly drawn car.

December 26, 2003:
*Tommy and Nzinga's voices are dubbed over, while the 2 are arguing over something*
Tommy: Can't you see that we are watching Kids Next Door?
Nzinga: Oh, they bring much happiness to us, here on Fridays!
Tommy: It is amazing how they frolic around with their many inventions.
Nzinga: I am a big fan of their many adventures.
Tommy: You are not telling me things that I do not... already agree with.
Nzinga: I know I can tell you these things, and you will hear them.
Tommy: The things you say make sense to me while you say them. We'll be right back with more Kids Next Door.
Nzinga: I am glad we are in agreement.
Tommy: Right here on Fridays.

I don't really have much to say here. I just wanted to draw another segment from the Powerhouse Era.

September 1, 2017 (Fried Dynamite 10th Anniversary Reunion):
Blake (talking to Tara): Alright so, what is your shtick, exactly? Like, what do you bring to the show?
Tara: Well uh... I guess I'm kind of the "everyman" of the show... well, at least compared to Tommy.
Tommy: *quietly grumbles*
Blake: And about Tommy... what does he bring?
Tara: Oh, Tommy's kind of the clumsy one around here.
Tommy: Oh, come on, Tara! I'm so not clums- OOF! (accidentally walks into a narrowing in the hallway)
Blake: (in a weirded-out tone) Riiiight...
Tara: Er... Y-You good?
Tommy: *sigh* Yeah, I'm fine.
Tara: Okay, um... why don't you just sit down for a bit?
Tommy: Sure...
(Blake and Tara walk off as they continue talking, while Tommy sits down in a nearby chair, continuing to grumble to himself)

Fried Dynamite, what a piece of random nonsense that was.
But yeah, to celebrate the block's 10th anniversary, Fridays invited some of the cast back, including the block's main host, Blake Michael, of course. We even included a custom-made logo that combined both blocks' logos.
Honestly, it's pretty interesting to see something like this happen for Cartoon Network, especially during 2017, when the real CN's reputation was rather low.
And yes, we knew there would be some who'd be really upset that we did this, let alone that we acknowledged Fried Dynamite's existence, so that's why Tommy was written to be so grumpy.
He basically spends most of the show acting salty over the fact that Fried Dynamite replaced Fridays.
For Blake's all-grown-up look, I simply tried to find a photo or video from as close to this show's date (9/1/17) as possible.
If you're wondering, I was not a part of this Fridays show. I think I was either too busy with something, or I just couldn't be bothered to show up, but I can't remember.
