Hello! i was wondering if you could write me a req bc i saw your reqs r open (bc I ✨respectfully✨ suck booty at writing)
basically, reader made friends with Ghost while working together on deployment, and became friends, they hang out sometimes bc they live kinda close, blah blah blah. then, Ghost doesn't hear from reader in months (which isn't normal, bc they text like once a month, just to make sure one another is okay when they can). then, one day, in the middle of a meeting Ghost gets a call from an unfamiliar number and almost ignores it until he sees that the area code is the one reader lives in, so he decides to answer it. boom, guess what? the reader is in the hospital, sustained r/srs injuries, and is in need of emergency surgery, and the reader made Ghost the emergency contact (lets also say they traded dog tags bc fluff?)
homie gets all sad bc Reader might die and is in a mini coma, blah blah blah, realized he r in love w the reader, and uh
you can decide whether or not the reader dies and what happens next
i fr scream YIPEEE when i saw your req open, i adore your writing, like top tear, makes me cry but laugh and scream bc how are you so good?! srs, im so jelly of your writing! okay anyways, hope you have a lovely day, you dont have to do this is you dont want or if im jus a silly fucker and mis read and your reqs r closed or sum
Hellloooo! Thank you SO MUCH for the beautiful compliments and for this request <3 I loved it so much I started writing the day you sent it to me. But since it's very emotionally charged, it took me a little while to finish and I'm sorry bout that, and I rly hope you're still around and eager to read it!!! Well, there it is, my take on ur req, hope you like it.
Take me back (to the night we met) | Simon "Ghost" Riley x f!reader
Tumblr media
✦Word count: 2.1k ✦ Pairing: Simon “Ghost” Riley xf!reader ✦Summary: Simon gets a call from the hospital saying that you are hospitalized, in a coma and in great life risk. ✦ TW and general warnings: sensitive topics, lots of angst, fluff though, death implications, open ending, sad af read at ur own risks cuz i'm crying in my room rn;
I had all and then most of you Some and now none of you Take me back to the night we met
“Johnny and I make our entrances fast. I clear the way, he goes front, three of you get in by the back and we surround the site to get enough space for the hostages to come out. Any questions?” Ghost asks sternly, as is the usual of his tone especially coming down to work. He was being brutally professional at the moment - if there was rather a sign of an existing Simon, it was gone the moment he got inside the briefing room. Silence follows for the next seconds while the crew seems to be pondering over what he said, analyzing the map over the big round table sticking to the center of the room.
As it is expected, no questions. He nods with his head assuming by the silence that they’re all understood.
“Our orders are to neutralize any individual we find on the site whose face doesn’t match with our hostages, which means we do it fast before they get the chance to call for reinforcements. We don’t wanna make a mess out of this.” Price then continues his own talking, marking X’s over the tactic map and giving the next orders to every one of them. It is when Gaz opens his mouth to say something, that Simon’s phone rings for the third time in a row. He curses mentally - he muted his phone the first time; now, it was vibrating in his pocket. Awkwardly, the vibration itself is heard by everyone in the room and they turn their eyes on him almost instantly.
“Hell.” He curses out in a low voice before shaking his head. “My apologies, Captain.” His voice tries its best not to come out too annoyed, but he fails and it does; despite the timing being inconvenient, no one seems to be bothered. Johnny furrows his brows in concern, and looks over at Price, who seems to have the same, perhaps even more intense, look on his face.
Ghost mentions to pull out and turn off his phone once again, but Price is quick to intervene.
“Riley.” He crosses his arms over his chest. “Third time in a row; seems like somethin’ serious, get out and pick up.” He states comprehensively.
Despite being slightly reluctant, Ghost agrees - it must be something serious. What, he couldn't come to imagine - but if for a moment in his life he had something close to a hunch, it was now, and it said he should take that call.
“Alright, one minute. Move on without me.” He nods and leaves the room, phone in hand and a worried sigh leaving his nostrils. When the door closes behind him and he walks a bit further down the hallway, he picks up.
“Yes?”
“Is this Lieutenant Simon Riley?” A feminine voice asks from the other side. Sounds in the background, beeps and small, muffled voices.
“Affirmative, who’s this?” He frowns.
“This is from the Special Forces Manchester Hospital, are you familiar with the name- hmm…” She seems to be taking a couple seconds to read, and continues saying your name.
He freezes in place.
How long has it been since he last heard this name? How long has it been since you vanished like thin air, disappeared, stopped calling or answering? Busy. That’s what he thought. Busy with work, busy with anything. The two of you had always been two busy people, in a desperate need for time.
For a moment, in those torturous seconds of silence, Simon found himself praying to a God he wasn't even sure he believed in, that this nurse wouldn't tell him you’re dead.
“Yes.” It’s all he manages to say, with his eyes running down to the ground in a dead stare. Dead eyes. He gulps, after the despair in his chest makes him speak once again, “Why?”
“Well- sir, you’re her emergency number, we’re calling because we couldn’t manage any family members… She’s in a coma. She was severely injured in combat, and [...]”
His heart stops, like it never did before. He doesn't react, his eyes look around as if he's searching for something - as if searching for his own reaction hidden somewhere within that empty hallway. The weight of your dog tag around his neck seems to be suffocating him now.
To his silence, the woman continues.
“[...] it’s… currently sort of impossible to predict her state within the next few days, she’s fighting but struggling lots; can you come over?”
“Yes.” He sharply replies, immediately. His eyes are still on the ground as he closes his eyes, and nods. “I’ll be on my way, yes.”
“Good.” She replies, and he turns off.
For a moment, he stops to breathe; Ghost wipes his hand over his mouth in a somewhat guilty expression, he should have reached for you. He should have reached you the instant he missed you, your calls.
“Hell…” He shuts his eyes for a moment, his heart stings like he’s poisoned, it hurts - some sort of pain he swears to god, he probably never felt before. Not when he lost his training dog, nor when he lost friends before - maybe because there were always a lingering possibility between the two of you. It was nothing but a friendship, never had been - but every word, every phrase was full of underlines of sentiment, an immense desire to reveal his interior and spit out the fears he refused to speak about to anyone else.
It's the possibility that kills him now. Even after all this time, not for a second did you cease to exist in his troubled and saddened mind. Suppressed by all the worries and feelings he thought were more important than you.
Not for a moment did he stop thinking about that pleasant end to his career, the retirement he knew he deserved, a house at least isolated from the rest of the world with trees and streams, the snow falling when winter comes and the sun scorching the land. land when summer finally arrived. You, on the front porch.
You.  You.
When the night was full of terrors And your eyes were filled with tears When you had not touched me yet Oh, take me back to the night we met
You were leaning back on the sofa, your legs stretched out by the small table that marked the space between you and the balcony railing of his apartment.
The rain fell calmly, some thunder, but few drops. The sound of them falling against the roofs of the houses below the level where you were was echoing in your ears, and he seemed busy drawing patterns among the heavy clouds that covered the sky.
He gave up trying to find any stars in that rainy sky and found comfort in finding your eyes instead. They were already watching him, almost expecting him to say something, even though the silence between two of you usually speaks volumes more than words itself; you’ve never been good with them, much less him.
Simon looked down at your dog tag, lying brightly on your bust exposed by the tank top you wore.
“What do you want to do after retiring?” He asked, his voice calm, his eyes almost closed. He took your necklace between his fingers calmly, and watched your shiny name exposed on the icy metal.
“Gotta be honest with you, can’t see myself retiring.” You replied, with your usual brutal honesty - something he particularly always liked so much about you. “What about you?”
You don’t mind him, you allow.
“Don’t know.” He was, too, brutally honest. “Seek fuckin’ forgiveness for my sins before I die and end up in hell, I suppose.”
You laughed.
“Oh, fuck. Gonna die trying to find that, mate.” You admit, raising your eyebrows in another big sip of your beer. “We’re all going to hell… At least we’ll all party there together.” You sounded fun, and your eyes turned into little lines with the genuine smile you let out when noticed that he too laughed at your joke.
“We’re partyin’? Tell me Johnny isn’t going…”
“He’s my first guest.” You laugh harder.
“Thought that’d be me.”
“You hate parties.” You raised your eyebrows.
“I don’t hate you.”
You silently smiled and looked away.
“Fair enough.”
When it came to the two of you, there was nothing but connotation.
You could spend hours in that apartment alone with him - and you did. Did plenty of times, and yet, among subtle touches and heartfelt conversations, the end would be the same. Not in his bed, not in yours: by the door, with a rueful look and smile on your face.
With a held back hug you never gave, a held back kiss you never allowed and an uncertain goodbye before departing on a mission that could take your or his life.
There was a phone call, once.
He called you late in the night. He was drunk. Too drunk.
“I’m scared.” His voice was low, fluttering, like those cold days he’d be waiting for his dad’s arrival in his bed, under the covers, terrified and alone. “I’m scared. Can- can I see you? Can I come over, please?”
As you hugged him on the couch in your own apartment now - that huge, strong, self-sufficient man collapsing in your lap like a baby in need of comfort, your heart was never right about anything like it was right about loving him. In that moment you knew it, you were fucking lost, taken, desperately in love.
You departed; you gave him your dog tag, he gave you his. A memory, an attempt. Do not forget me, you said. Don’t you dare forget me if I die, Simon Riley.
“I didn’t.”
He looks at you with regret. The devices that help you breathe keep him from seeing you fully, whole - but still behind all those hospital beeps and sounds, you're still as beautiful as the first time he saw you.
He wants to go back to the past. Reverse everything he did, redo it from scratch; the first time he saw you, the first time he felt his heart ache listening to you talk about another man, all the times he repressed his feelings and swore not to love you.
“I want to be with you.” He mutters, his eyes emptily stare down your almost lifeless hand resting over his. “After I retire. I want to be with you.” He says again, closing his eyes, shutting them tight like he’s trying his very best to repress the tears he wants so bad to let fall.
“I fuckin’ need you- I- how did this happen, how did you…” He gasps as the clock ticks, low, the sound of the hands ringing like doomsday inside his head. Every second that passed was one less with you. There are twenty minutes left for you to enter that operating room, and maybe you’ll never leave it again.
His eyes water and his legs give out, he kneels beside the bed, his suppressed voice sounding like a low, painful moan. The cry of a child who lost everything he had; of a confused teenager who would become a soldier, cold, dead inside, incapable of love - who loved you. Who loves you. “I’m scared. I’m scared- I love you.” He’d mutter, praying to all known gods to not take you. Take anything, anything from me; anything but her.
When the doctors came into the room and hurriedly moved your gurney to the ward in a desperate attempt to get your heart working again with the transplant, Simon sat in the waiting room with his face buried in his hands, his legs trembling. and the false hope that you would come back.
That you’ll be on that front porch, resting ever so happily, a bottle of beer in your hand and the dogs running around. He will have gotten rid of the mask and the habit of wearing it and you’ll be happy. You’ll be happy. You’ll be alive.
“God, please.” He mutters. “You’ve taken so much from me, now please, not this.”
He stands up as the doctor calls his name, with his heart on his hand and regret flashing his face off, he just wants another minute with you, another second with you, enough seconds so he can tell you he love you - he had, for most of his life and now, and he will, for the rest of his days with or without you.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do Haunted by the ghost of you Oh, take me back to the night we met.

Interlude: Here comes the insertion specialist
Pairing: König x  f!Reader ( OC aka Mini MacTavish )
Summary: Don't give König ANY alcohol.
Warning: M Rated. INNUENDO, INNUENDO!  Alcohol consumption ( be responsible people), swearing, sexual theme. Slight crack fic. English isn’t my first language, there will be a lot of grammatical and tense mistake.
A/N: This is part of the world what I dubbed “ Mini MacTavish Universe”. Inspired by  @saltofmercury ’s “ “The Favorite MacTavish”. Praise her for lending me her character and universe * starry eye *. Go read her brilliant stories!
“masterlist” for more stories to this Mini MacTavish expanded verse.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know König doesn't drink alcohol. No big deal. Each to their own. Maybe he just doesn't like the taste of it. What you didn't realise is he has ZERO tolerance to alcohol.
Kortac was in UK again after a successful joint operation with the SAS. To your surprise, Johnny rang you and ask if you want to travel to  Credenhill  to join the party. "That's rare, usually I have to beg you to let me tag along!"
"... The team was asking for you." " They are asking for their FAVOURITE MacTavish you mean?"
" Jesus Christ, do you want to come or not?"
" Just give me the date and I'll check my shift timetable."
Tumblr media
You were secretly excited you will get to see König again after the chance meeting which turned into, according to Emma, a coffee date. Was that a date? You don't know. Do you like him? Maybe. For the moment you are just enjoying your time texting back and forth. ( or mainly him sending pictures of what his current little carving projects are or interesting things he notice while on mission. It's quite adorable really. )
Dropping off your luggage at the airbnb near the barrack, you make your way towards the bar frequently attended by the team. Walking in, loud noises hits you instantly. The pub was packed full of people, it's a popular spot for the SAS soldiers since the barrack isn't far off. You look around trying to find your brother. Soon enough you spot Ghost's tall figure with Johnny and Gaz playing a round of snooker. You ran up to your brother and tackled him from behind.
"Mini! you made it!" Gaz exclaimed. "What's a gathering without me livening up the atmosphere?" You high fived each other. Johnny turned around and gave you a big hug.
" How was the train ride here?" "Busy. Lucky I booked my ticket as soon as you told me about the gathering." Pointing at Ghost, " Am I allow to greet him? or is the no Ghosting rule still apply?" "What are you planning." he look at you deadpan expression. " Nothing. I am just being friendly." " Why does this sound familiar." You turned and smiled at Ghost, " Hey Simon. "
" ... Hey." " Mini." " Hey Uncle Price!" You left Johnny's embrace and went in for a hug with Price. Why does Ghost look slightly disappointed?
"Who else is here?"
Price pointed towards the table near the bar. "Some of the KorTac members are over there, the rest are scattered around." "OHh I see new people I haven't met." " MINI" Johnny and Simon chimed in same time with warning tone.
" Yes Sir, I know Sir, I will behave Sir.” You gave the boys your best salute and wondered towards the bar to order a beer. While standing at the bar, you see König, per usual, hiding at the edge of the room, trying to make himself invisible with a glass of what looks like a coke in his hand, listening to his teammate's conversation. Doing your best you try to wave to him, he spotted you, his eyes lit up and timidly waved back. Horangi saw the interaction, elbowed König and teased him a little. König duck his head down, blushing. You felt a set of eyes on you, turning around you can see Ghost looking at your direction, eyes narrowed. What's his problem?
Soon you find yourself mixing with the ladies from both teams, gossiping away. They sure have fascinating stories to tell, tales of war to suitors or love interests they meet during their missions.
".... and would you believe, their pick up line was, "“I’ve lost my teddy bear! Can I sleep with you instead?”" You laughed, " Oh gosh, that sounded like me from last time!" " Look, if it comes from you, it sounds cute, but coming from that person??" Nova made a face. " Mini, come on, got any stories to tell? Any strange pick up lines?" " Sadly no. All the boys that wants to approach me been scared off by Johnny." " Pfft, for a casanova like him, it's bit contradicting. no offense Mini."
" None taken Kleo. I know my brother is a manwhore. A gentlemanly manwhore." Everyone burst out laughing. Out of corner of your eyes, you saw König swaying a bit in his seat. No one else seems to notice. His drink nearly finish. Maybe he is tired? All of sudden, he stood up, startling the people around him, and proceed to swagger towards you, full of purpose, you will be lying if it doesn't stir the heat up a little bit down there. Cocking an eyebrow, you turned your chair towards him. Waiting for his next move. Stopping right in front of you, he leans down, hands on both side of you on the table, trapping you. Gosh, he does have beautiful blue eyes, the piercing blue eyes.... wait, is that bit of alcohol you can smell from his breath?
"Hello Schatz." He purred. "Do you know why they call me insertion specialist? because I am VERY GOOD at ramming... " his eyes flickers down towards his crotch, " THINGS... especially into people." The whole pub just went dead silent. Your jaw dropped. Is he trying to flirt with you? Hearing a loud clank noise, your eyes darts towards the snooker table, Johnny had dropped his cue, eyes wide with shock, while Ghost looks like he was about to murder certain someone with veins popping out of his forehead. Gaz was laughing his head off, smacking Price's back, making him choke. " WHO THE FUCK ADDED RUM INTO HIS COKE!!!!"
Tumblr media
Just think of the way König walks at the character intro screen. mmmmm.
lack of sleep does this to you. Oops.

The masked giant || Fem!reader x Konig
・❥・Masterlist
・❥・Tags/warnings: Nothing really much to say other than use of guns, first meeting, strangers to friends/crush,
・❥・Summary: With Ghost and the most of task force 141 out on a mission, leaving you behind. They assigned you to a new person...although he isn't what you thought, ・❥・Word count: 1926 ・❥・A/N: Wanted to start on my Konig mini series for the Fem!reader pov so I figured why not start with strangers to friends. Might make this mini series a slow burn since I HC Konig to be more shy and sheltered than Ghost.
Tumblr media
BEEP BEEP BEEP You groggily slam your hand on the alarm clock, its daylight already and the rest of the team's already gone. You rub your eyes and sit up and stretch of any remaining sleep that is clinging onto you. Checking the schedule for today, you notice you have to meet your new supervisor whilst the teams out on an important mission. You knew almost nothing to who your suppose to meet other than "Konig- Training grounds 8AM." By his first name, you instantly knew he was somewhat either German or Austrian. You figured to take a quick shower since you still had an hour, the warm water running over your skin as you allow it to refill your energy. You always focused better when you was clean, although training was surely gonna make you sweat later on. Once done you decide to head over to the training grounds, you were 15 minuets early but its better to be early than late right? The sun hung up nicely in the sky and it was oddly warm for an autumn day. The base was quiet still at this time, the odd clangs and bangs from the garage as the mechanics work on the variety of vehicles that you had. Arriving at the training camp, you put your bag and water bottle down on one of the benches supplied. It's quiet...almost too quiet. You were so used to hearing Soap's cringy banter and Ghost's gruff voice as he barks commands at you. Complaining every time you missed a target. You decide to head over to the targets, a rifle on the table catches your eye. What's an unsupervised gun doing out...loaded to? Your curiosity gets the better of you as you pick it up and you aim it down at a target 10 Meters away from the post. "H-hello?" A thick germen accent suddenly causes you to lose focus and you turn around and your heart drops in your chest, A man around 6'10 looms over you, his arms crossed. His eyes glare behind the curtain draped on his head, secured on what seems to be a modded bike helmet. You suddenly put the gun down and you feel so small against him and this is the first time you've genuinely felt true fear here. His frame suddenly loosens as he realizes he's scaring at you. "Ah...I'm sorry...you must be yc/s (Your call sign), yes?" He extends his very large hand to you. It's as big as your head and you shyly accept it, his hand grips on yours. His huge fingers encasing yours in a tight shake. "Yes..." You squeak and you suddenly feel embarrassed, not quite sure on how to approach the giant before you. "I'm sorry if my size scares you....hah...well I'm Konig. I was told by Ghost to be your instructor whilst they were way the next few weeks. I...uhh...have never been a supervisor before." He plays with his mask and you can tell he's just as nervous as you are. How can such a person be so scared at his height? You think to yourself as his gaze is now soft. His green eyes avoiding eye contact with you as he glances to the side. "Ah...It's nice to meet you Konig. Please....just call me y/n. No need to be formal. " You nod, it hurts to crane your neck to look at him. You've never seen a man so tall, yet feel so shy
"Y-you too Y/n...such a pretty name haha...I hope you don't mind me saying that...I...uh....heh, anyways..." Konig gets all flustered and clears his throat. "Price gave me a training schedule for you to do...today's was just some spotting...I'm assuming you know how to work a rifle. So why don't you go ahead and take a few rounds at the targets for half an hour or so and we can move from there." "Sure, and not at all! Your not the first to mention it...I'll go ahead and load a rifle and shoot." You can't help but form a small blush. "Good...I'll watch..." He nods lightly as you pick the rifle again and aim down sight. Taking a breath before checking ammo count, realizing the mag's already full you turn safety off and you begin to drill bullets at the target. Missing a few but hitting the majority. After the mags done you take it out and switch it for a new mag, locking it in place before moving onto the next target. "Always aim a little higher when shooting targets at a longer distance." Konig calls out, you nod in reply and continue your attack. Still missing a lot. Two very large hands grab your waist and pull you upwards to change your stance. "Arms up...out stretched. Keep back upright." Konig re aligns your stance and you can't help but feel butterflies in your stomach. The slightest touch sending you shivers. He suddenly let's go of you and walks off. Leaving you a flustered mess. You've never felt this strange fuzzy feeling and you do your best to push those aside. Konig was caring unlike Ghost, the way he talks, his body movemnts. Ghost was always belittling you, shouting at you. It was a nice change of pace for once. "Carry on...that should be better for you." Konig gives you the sign to carry on. You take his advice and fire another round. This time hitting 95% of your shots and you smile to yourself. "There you go...you aren't so bad after all haha!" Konig chuckles behind you and the sound erupts through you. Like a lions growl. It's enough to make you stop and freeze. "Is everything alright y/n?" He takes a sudden concern to how silent you just went. "Yeah...yeah just happy I was able to hit that target. ..T-thank you Konig." You turn your head around and flash him a small smile at the man. "Did ghost not teach you that at all...?" He tilts his head, pointing at your rifle in your hands. "No, just assumed I learnt it in bootcamp...shouted at me every time I missed." You shake your head as your eyes meet his again but this time he doesn't look away, the stare holding a little longer before you suddenly realize your staring. "Sorry...Konig...can I ask you something personal?" You bite your lip, itching to know how he was so tall. "Natürlich...of course" He leans against the wall next to you, nodding gently as he gives you permission. ((Natürlich- Of course.)) "How are you...well...so tall?" Your eyes glance from his feet to his eyes. "Ahhh...well...my Vater was quite tall...I don't actually know why I'm so big." He chuckles again, looking down. ((Vater- Father))
"Ah, I assume your height must cause you some issues with being a soldier." Your desire to get to know Konig etched more and more, the masked giant maybe wasn't so scary after all. "Funny you should mention that...I wanted to be a sniper...they took me off the course since I was way to tall. Now, I just mostly do demolitions  and I'm a insertion specialist. Nothing fancy of what you and the task force does. " Konig shrugs, his eyes never leave you but as soon as you look back he quickly looks away bashfully.
"I haven't been on any serious mission with the boys...I'm still classed as new. It's why I didn't go with them today. I'm sure I'll get my fair share of action with them in time. Have my own scars to tell." You put the rifle down and shake your head, knowing your not the best soldier to be placed in the same honor if the team, but you felt proud none the less Konig recognized you as such. "Don't think so lowly of yourself. Y/n, I'm sure your strong, we all start off as a small bird waiting for its wings. You'll develop yours in time." He catches you off by guard, almost like he's reading your mind. "That means a lot Konig...thank you." You can't help but feel so drawn to him, yet you don't know why. You hardly knew nothing of the man yet it feels like you've known him from somewhere before. "It's a pleasure Y/n...We're getting off course haha...why don't you try with a sidearm now?" Konig heads over and hands you a small pistol. You smile as you accept it and you walk to the spot again. This time taking Konigs advice again and you fire. Hitting every bullet. "Look at you! You'll be the best shooter this team has seen in no time!" Konig tease's walking over and giving your shoulder a small squeeze. You blush again at the sudden contact, feeling your cheeks run pink. "Ah...I'm sorry." Konig pulls away and he begins to franticly blurt out an apology. His hands suddenly fumble with his pouches at the front, wanting a distraction. "No no It's okay!" You reassure him, smiling warmly and even though you can't see his face. You can tell he's smiling back. His demeanor was surprisingly warn and inviting, you can't help but want to learn more. You and Konig both go through target practice, he makes small adjustments here and there but none the less, you hit most of your shots. You feel Konig warm to you during your session as you both trade light banter and he doesn't stutter as much. If anyone walked in, they'd assume you were life long friends. "You did well, care to join me for lunch?" Konig helps you clear the shells and you put away the guns back in their designated areas. "Sure, I'd love to." You smile and grab your bag and water bottle. Konig nods and you follow him to the cafeteria. It was rather quiet and the only thing on the menu today was some soup. You wouldn't complain though as your starving. You both find a small table and he sits in front of you. He was still towering over you as you both sat. You looked like an innocent child with her father. The broth in your hands was just asking to be eaten and you hungrily take a sip only for it to burn your tongue and you drop your spoon. "Ah ah hot hot hot!" You take a swig of your water, hoping to sooth the pain. Your tongue screaming in pain. "Are you ok, y/n?" Konig leans over, his frame looming over. Your heart catches in your throat, hammering away at your fragile chest, "Y-yeah, just burnt my tongue. I'm rather hungry today, I should be more careful." You swirl your spoon in the soup, blowing on it gently. "You are certainly clumsy, Kleiner." He chuckles, shaking his head. ((Kleiner- Little one)) "It just smells good." You reply laughing, a smile forming on your face "Y/n your blushing...how cute." You never knew you was blushing and you look down shyly. You look down at your soup and you see your reflection in the spoon and it proves right, looking right back in the spoon you see your cheeks a rosy red. "S-sorry...it's the soup." You play it off, knowing the reason why your blushing is because of him. You just couldn't help it. The mysterious man just had this effect that made you craving more. "I can tell I'm gonna enjoy these next few weeks with you, y/n." Konig chuckles, leaning back. He cross's his arms, looking at you with a soft stare, his mask moves gently as he breaths. "I shall look forward to it." You decide to take another sip of your soup and this time its not like eating lava of the sun, turning your gaze back to the soup to hide your blushing. Your butterfly's racing around in your chest.
Were you falling for someone you just met?
Was it even possible?

@natahposting replied to your post “My F2P ass finally made 1k plat at once. I've made...”:
Drop a guide my ass is out here with 2 plat to my name
I don't have some big secret, but I will gladly be transparent on how I make my plat in the hopes that other players can as well.
But uh.
I ain't gonna remotely pretend it's the most fun part of playing warframe, I just so happen to have the correct mindset to allow it to happen without me growing to resent warframe.
So obligatory "You're results may vary" bit here.
ALSO. I PLAY ON PS4 RIGHT NOW AND THE MARKETS HAVE NOT BEEN MERGED. SO PRICING IS DIFFERENT HERE- BUT I BELIEVE SOME IDEAS SHARED HERE HAVE UNIVERSAL APPEAL- Especially when markets do merge.
The most important part for me is utilizing Warframe Market which is a 3rd party website-
not linking because sometimes tumblr is perfectly okay with links and sometimes it isn't and I think this info is potentially useful enough that I'd like it actually popping up in the tag I post it in, it comes up in a search more than easily enough.
- for posting things you'd like to trade which I find infinitely more usable than say spamming trade chat or standing around the bazaar. I genuinely don't get how any player could utilize that as their primary means of trading, that's insane to me.
Market lets you post what you have, how many, what rank (if a mod) and the price and have it be easily presented to others. You can also toggle if you're online, online in-game, or offline which, again, helps direct players to when to contact you for the trade (messaging offline players is useless lmao).
If you opt to utilize market here are the mini-tips for that (skip to end of bullet points if not):
Mark yourself as "online in game" when you're online so that people know to whisper you for trades
Make sure to mark yourself as invisible when you're getting off or you'll get a ton of spam and people confused as to why they couldn't whisper you
On the top left is a toggle for which version of warframe you are playing on- MAKE SURE IT'S ACCURATE! This dictates both where you're trades are posted and what trades you will see. You can toggle this at any time, but worth noting that if you bookmark the site it will bookmark the version you were on when you bookmarked.
The button to post new trades is on the bottom right of the entire webpage, "Place order", easy to assume there is a simpler button to click but there isn't lol.
The common courtesies are not law, but the common courtesies are to message someone on the website if they are listed as "Online", whisper someone in-game if they are "Online In-Game", and generally don't bother spamming people who are offline. The site flourishes off of quick "Hey you have thing? Here's plat. We're done-thank you" trades rather than "Hey, can you be on next tuesday at 6pm for a trade?" meetups.
Price as you see fit- but the best way to get trades is to see what the average is of "online" players- or the median (Or just most common) price of offline players. If 4 people are online charging 20p and 1 person is charging 30 and 1 person is charging 19, it's 20p, if 1 person is online charging whatever but 30 people are offline charging 20p it's probably 20p regardless of what the one person is charging. But play it by ear and label as you see fit until you get a sale.
So there's the "tool", it does the bulk of the work in my opinion, now what do I sell?
Used to just sell prime parts, not so much lately though.
So this should be easy to explain.
Whenever I have the spare time I run some relics to collect prime parts. I used to just toss each and every one on the market and that did very much work for me, buuuut it's a bit tedious doing like max trades a day and making very little plat because parts generally aren't worth much unless it's a gold reward from a vaulted item.
So now-a-days I run relics when I'm bored and collect in the hopes of getting a full set for something, sets sell for a bit more so it just kinda solves that problem. Instead of selling an orthos prime and it taking 4 trades, I can do it in 1 for usually a bit more plat for the convenience, although some items go for less as a set, give it a check from time to time but I generally just say "fuck it" and trade full sets even if say the neuroptics are currently overpriced and I could make plat that way instead.
Prime stuff has arguably taken a dive for me though. There are a lot of people willing to crack relics with the boys all afternoon so the prices are generally a lot more fair on my platform, which is good!... but means less lucrative farming. Still worthwhile though, especially if you sit down to farm your backlog of relics from currently vaulted things.
But with that I've moved over to farming mods.
There are a ton of good targets to farm when it comes to mods, so honestly just think of some of the best mods and consider if the task of farming is up your alley.
Some stand outs for me are the various 60/60 mods you can get from spy missions, specifically Rime Rounds (Tier 2 at 5% or Lua at 7%) or the mess of them you can get from the Kuva spy mission (Frostbite, Frigid Blast, Thermite Rounds, Scorch).
The spy farms are generally a breeze with many of them being easily farmed at max efficiency as early as getting Limbo or even Rhino to ignore knockdowns from some spy obstacles.
I do hate Lua's simon says puzzle though. It genuinely makes me second guess myself into recording the solution each time -.-
Corrupted mods, though obviously that pool is just silly with 90% of corrupted mods being worthless outside of gimmicks and then 10% being worthwhile and constantly selling.
On the plus side getting corrupted mods is easy as hell, it can even be fun if you bring some friends and all go on a great "Slow walking fast sliding" adventure together in the hopes of netting that coveted Blind Rage lol
(SOME) Syndicate mods, these are easy as hell to acquire but you really have to do your research to see what's even worth posting, and I just find it too bothersome to deal with.
Cross checking what mods are ACTUALLY unique to one of the 2 sides on the syndicate page is annoying as is, so honestly I just toss a Despoil augment or a pilfering augment (dome or tentacles) on the market from time to time and those generally sell because even people in the correct syndicate want them early for obvious reasons.
Growing Power, pretty self explanatory, it's like "The" good drop from the silver grove, so if you've got an oxylus or a patient mind you can go collect some day and night plants and go put the Knave Specter through some hydroid tentacles for a bit.
Arbitration Mods, funnily enough putting galvs behind content that requires a lot of play time to get to and making them tradable does make these sell pretty consistently. Not universally for a lot or anything, but once you're at the point where you can go do some arbitrations for fun you might as well consider the bit of plat you have access to :P
Kahl "Archon" Mods, same deal. It takes a bit to get to Kahl, so newer players will often trade for the mods early since some are genuinely quite nice. Nothing game breaking, but nice.
I feel like a good portion of why mods are feeling much more secure a trading front for me is because EVERY player needs good mods, from new to old, while most prime stuff exists as mastery rank fodder which can always be put on the backburner. (Most, not all). The market for prime stuff is very much alive, but the market for mods feels massive in comparison.
So genuinely, my sell history is basically this:
Full warframe sets ranging from 50-130p
A metric ton of 60/60 mods for 10-30p a pop
"Some" rarer mods like Growing power for like 50p a pop
Obviously, different platforms different prices, maybe I'd only be sitting on like 100p by now on PC, haven't the slightest. But after a metric ton of spy missions I can say I broke 1k for the first time which is neat.
The short version
Warframe Market (3rd party website)
Crack relics when you're bored and toss what you don't need on the market
Farm 60/60 mods and toss them on the market
Sell mods from late->end game content
????????? (<-Luck)
Profit? Maybe?
Buy the Sway emote.
Anyone with more experience trading, feel free to add or argue differences on different platforms. I've got like 2 years-ish trading experience on playstation and that's it.

Simon Riley x Mykie (OC) {fem!character}
I wanted to introduce my OC on my Tumblr, this is the character I identify with so I apologize if this isn't one you can really insert yourself into. I plan to write some of those too. But I thought I'd write this cute lil one-shot. I do plan to write some smut eventually too hehe. There is also Spanish in this and if I messed up please tell me! I don't speak Spanish so I did my best.
SWF (mentions of nudity and drinking) Everyone is of age for all activities mentioned in the story!
“Two whole months off. Can you believe it, Soap?” Mykie nudged her team mate in the shoulder.
Soap chuckled. “It is exciting, how many pubs do you think we can hit up this time?”
“At least ten, like, minimum.” Mykie chuckled. Both of them were full blooded Scots, drinking together was how they bonded. The rest of the group would tag along but they secretly went just to make sure Soap and Mykie didn’t kill themselves on their bender. Ghost was mainly, if not only there to make sure nothing happened to his squad mates.
—---
“Dos cervezas, un pez. What does that even mean?” Soap asked as he read the sign that hung above the door to the bar they found.
“I have no clue but I think ‘pez’ is fish…” Mykie trailed off.
“Significa dos cervezas un pez- It means, Two Beers, one fish.” Alejandro informed the two puzzled Scots.
“Fuck kind of names is that?” Soap questioned as he pushed the doors open. Alejandro shrugged his shoulders. He usually joined in on their benders for two reasons, he loves to drink, and he had to be their translator most of the time. The two Scots knew some Spanish, but not enough to order good drinks.
“Una ronda de tequila, hermano.” Alejandro waved to one of the bartenders. They nodded their head and soon a tray of tequila shots were placed in front of the group.
Soap and Mykie didn’t hesitate to grab a shot each. They clinked the glasses together, tapped the bottoms on the table and shot them back quickly.
Mykie let out a satisfied sigh, “C’mon Ghost, take a shot. Pretty please?”
“No. Can’t keep watch if I’m drunk.”
“Are you saying you're a lightweight?” Mykie teased.
“Quite the opposite.”
“I don’t believe you. I bet you can’t even take a shot of some basic tequila without winsing.” Mykie pushed further.
Ghost let out a long sigh as he pulled the chin of his black baklava up, just enough to reveal his lips. He gripped the shot in his hand, tapped it on the table and downed it in quick succession. “Easy.”
Mykie giggled as she grabbed another shot, tapping the bottom and throwing it back just the same as the last.
After a few more rounds, Soap was starting to slur his words just a little. Mykie was turning a bright shade of pink, Gaz was passed out with his head on the table. Price had even joined them but he ordered himself a glass of sipping whiskey along with Ghost who did the same. Alejandro was in the same state as Soap, the two were giggling and cracking dumb jokes.
“Ghoooossttt, do shots with meeee.” Mykie pleaded as she scooted her stool closer to Ghost. She always made a point to push his buttons, even more so when she was drunk.
Ghost rolled his eyes, “How many shots have you had, Mini?” He couldn’t fully fight the small smile that tugged at his lips under the mask.
“I lost count…” Mykie giggled even more.
“I think they both did about 7 shots. You know they can both do more before they are black out.” Price sighed.
“I wanna do more, I’m fiiiine.” Mykie groaned as she laid her head on the table.
“I think you’ve had enough. I’m going to take her to the barracks, can you handle the others or should I come back?” Ghost asked as he stood from his stool. Price shook his head and did a little ‘shoo’ hand gesture. Rudy was with them too and had also opted for sipping whiskey.
“We’ve got it, take care of her.” Rudy chimed in.
Ghost nodded his head as he hooked Mykie’s arm over his neck. Mykie let out some more giggles and incoherent whispers as she swung her body to face Ghost’s, she threw her other arm around his neck. He was much taller compared to her, causing her to hang from his neck. Ghost quickly scooped her up bridal style as he carried her off to one of the two jeeps they drove.
“In ya go.” Ghost said as he sat Mykie down in the passenger seat. He buckled her in while swatting her hands off his mask. She was always super touchy with Ghost when she was intoxicated. Before he could pull himself out of the passenger side, Mykie gripped his dog tags that were poking out of his jacket. She gave them a slight tug, pulling him towards her face.
“I want to see your lips again.” Mykie looked up at him through glossy eyes.
“Let go, Mini. We need to get you back home.” Ghost let out a breathy chuckle. He had to pry her small fingers off his necklace before closing the passenger door. He climbed into the driver's seat and took off down the tight streets of La Almas.
Back at the base, Ghost lugged Mykie out of the car and up the steps to the base. He tossed her down onto one of the couches in the common room and threw himself into an armchair that sat cross from the couch.
“Ghost…you know…you smell good.” Mykie slurred out as she cuddled up onto the couch. She gripped on of the decorative pillows and hugged it tightly.
"Thank you?" Ghost was finding it harder and harder to fight the smirks that tugged at his lips. He pulled the skull mask and black baklava off of his head. He shook his head as he pushed his hands through his hair, ruffling it back up.
"Ghost." Mykie was making grabby hands towards his location, her eyes where half closed.
"We should get you to bed. What do you say to a quick shower?" Ghost asked as he pulled himself back up off the armchair. He lifted her up bridal style once more and carried her to her own room.
Ghost set her down on the toilet lid which was across from the shower. He shifted his body to turn the small shower on, he ran the water over his ungloved hand, waiting for it to reach the right temperature.
"Arms up." Ghost ordered. Mykie lifted her arms up lazily. Her head hung between her shoulders. Ghost gripped the hem up her shirt and pulled up and over her head and arms. He gently tugged her belt off, her shoes, socks and pants came soon after.
"Oh jeez it's cold." Mykie let out a small shizzer, the cold slowly stealing her drunk state away.
"The shower is hot, come here." Ghost gripped Mykies hands and pulled her up and into his body. She hugged him sloppily as he undid her bra and tossed it to the floor with the rest of her clothes. Mykie hooked her own fingers into her panties and pushed them down.
"Off..." Mykie mumbled as she tugged at Ghost's shirt. "Please...shower with me..." She grumbled as she continued to press her now naked body into him.
Ghost sighed. "Get in first, I'll join you."
Mykie giggled softly as she was turned and pushed lightly into the running water. The showers all had small built in shelves for sitting, and she didn't hesitate to sit down on it.
Mykie watched as Ghost pulled his jacket and shirt off. He undid his belt and dropped his pants and boxers to the floor after unlacing his boots. He climbed into the shower after her.
"Come here." Ghost directed as he tugged Mykie up by her hands. Her hands were tiny compared to his. Her dainty fingers interlaced with his large ones. She pressed her body against his as she took a big, deep breath in.
Mykie sighed, "I could stand like this for hours."
"Me too." Ghost smiled against the top of her head.
"Simon?"
"Hm?"
"I know the words aren't exactly ones we say much...but I love you." Mykie mumbled against his bare chest.
"I know, Mykie. I know."

Fate HC's
(I know this is my own character, so these are technically cannon, but let me have my fun)
¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤
¤ Fate isn't no non-sense, with her gear and mask, you'd think she's serious, but no, she isn't serious all of the time. She fucks around with whoever she ends up working with if she feels comfortable with them.
¤ So you've romanced her? She will take off her mask around anyone she trusts, but you? She will let you take it off of her or even wear it if you want. She will scoff and roll her eyes at you while you do it.
¤ Fate hates chess, she's a God at it and has never lost to anyone because she was forced to play it a lot as a kid but she's not one to play it anymore unless you or someone else begs her to.
¤ She's always serious when needed, her mouth immediately stops and she will listen, although if whoever is in charge isn't hearing her out fairly she will immediately have something rude to say in hopes it will shock them enough to silence them so she can get a word in.
¤ She will eventually tell you her first name, but nothing more if you're together. She wants to tell you everything, she sees you as her world and she wants to share as much as she can with you, but she can't.
¤ Her accent is hard to describe. She grew up in the middle of nowhere town, so it's very country with a strong hint of Canadian because where she grew up was near the border.
¤ She's always the shortest in the room, standing at 5'0 - 5'1 she's always looking up at everyone, if you're the same height or shorter she will 100% give you little trinkets or gifts she finds just because.
¤ Has grabbed a stool or chair, pulled it over to the person who was speaking her in a way she didn't appreciate, and stood on it. She then looked at the person in the eyes and just looked at them silently through her mask in anger. If this intimidated them? Good. If this didn't? She'll do this before she goes off on them for not respecting her as a human.
¤ When Fate first met Ghost and was on base everyone told her to change into a mask like Ghosts or draw a skull on hers to fuck with Ghost. Soap finally convinced her and did it with paint pens (promising her, he had paint remover) and drew a really well done Skull design on her mask before sending her into his office with papers. (He didn't have paint remover, she was forced to look like that for weeks while she tries to wipe it off before Soap finally got some.) She got called mini-Ghost the whole time.
¤ Fate really cares about anyone she comes in contact with, she's been through so much that anytime she meets a recruit or rookie she feels obligated to make sure they make it back, obviously this doesn't often happen and she ends up with their dog tags in her care until she finds their family, if she doesn't find someone to take them she keeps them and makes sure to visit their grave and honor them as much as she can. (Although she will never admit this to anyone.)
¤ Fate steals clothes, always. She's been seen wearing Soaps, Gaz's, and price hoodies around base (They don't care anymore they've gotten used to it).
¤ Fate unironically loves Kate. Not in a romantic way [unless I write a Fate x Laswell thing] She just always feels personally responsible for coming back after a mission with good news or something to try to make her job easier in any way possible. She once made her laugh, and she didn't shut up about it for weeks. She 100% knows anything she can about Kate and will talk to her as much as possible.
¤ Fate and Fae(Her best friend) are always flirting with each other. The whole 141, Kate, everyone, thought they were married, dating, or fucking in some way. They aren't they just like to flirt jokingly, it's their love language for each other. They will also, push, shove, lightly smack, or hit each other then run as fast as they can away. The first time Fae pushed Fate to the ground and ran Price was so confused he thought Fate and Fae were actually fighting. He just stood there.
¤ Fate often uses Fae to speak, only with newer people out of fear that it's her father's men looking for her still and they they'll recognize her voice, (She's paranoid) so she has Fae lie to anyone at first saying her mask muffles her or she can't speak.
¤ Because of Fate's past She's often not good with comforting people. She often goes dead silent and tries to think of something funny to say or something she can say that might distract the person. She's not one for comforting words or touching someone to comfort them, but she'll try her best.
¤ Because of her accent, people often assume she's from Canada or somewhere that isn't America, but she was. Although she did end up moving and living in a few different countries.
¤ Fate will give you the most random nickname, if you frustrate her or you're arguing with her she will give you the stupidest nickname casually "Alright Pookie, calm down" she has 100% called Ghost "Kitten whiskers" once in an argument and ended up sprinting away screaming "THE BRITISH ARE COMING" while laughing.
¤ Any time Soap is doing his whole "Scotland forever" screaming and music thing? She's right there doing it with him. 100% knows the history and everything too. She also has a flag she wears as a cape that Soap gave her.
¤ Never can tell if or when someone likes her, if you flirt with her she always assumes your just doing what her and Fae do so she'll flirt back perfectly, she just won't understand your being serious. If you tell her you are, she will become dumbstruck and won't know how to flirt with you anymore.
¤ Fate doesn't really like movies or shows but she will sometimes walk in to see Ghost and Soap watching something and she'll stand off to the side watching like a dad and any time someone offers her a seat she won't sit just move her weight from one leg to the other. She watched a whole movie like this, then said, "It was alright"
¤ Fate will follow someone around the base quietly, just admiring them and appreciating them for hours. The people she's following on the other hand? Terrified.
¤ Fate will randomly tackle Fae and climb up her like a tower while she's talking, and Fae plays along, acting like it's not happening to the best of her ability. Fae has dropped Fate on accident and then busted out laughing.
¤ This woman is BUILT. She works out every morning she can and will eat boiled chicken some days just to make sure she stays in shape (This worries a few people, but she ignores it)
¤ Will never be seen in anything feminine, would rather die than be seen wearing anything other than her gear or favorite clothes.
¤ She got asked by three recruits if she was "For the ladies" and she just said "I'm for everyone, my middle name is whore." She was called into Price's office to stop saying that and just says "I'm for you, your mom, or your dad." She's waiting to be called into the office again.
¤ Once asked Fae to do her hair, Fae proceeded to the longest and most painful hair style of her life, and Fate never asked again.
¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤~¤

My USB Rechargeable Batteries NH-AA review (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 1 [Jul 13, 2022]
Hello! Here it is! This is Part 1 of my USB Rechargeable Batteries NH-AA review, featuring my paper dolls.🔋⚡ A concept device for charging AA batteries via the USB port without needing a battery station port.🙂
BTW: If you haven't watched my recorded video, then please [CLICK ME!].
So, without further ado, let's get started:
1st to 3rd Image(s) ↑:
• [1st Image]: Let's kick off with the packaging itself. 📦 Now, the name of the brand is unknown ❓ much like my old NI-CD AA batteries before. I don't know who made this, but, I promise you, these USB AA batteries won't disappoint the buck. 👌 The packaging indicates that these USB AA batteries are now upgraded to improve their battery capacity, and they are delivered 500 times to charge per AA cell.
• [2nd Image]: On the back of the packaging is more info about the USB AA Batteries, including charging it will estimate 2.5 to 3 hours before it's fully charged.⏱️🔋⚡
• [3rd Image]: My paper dolls say that they look like gummy batteries. Hey, hey! They are not designed to eat nor digest, you know. So, don't even try!☝️😉
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
4th to 6th Image(s) ↑:
• [4th Image]: Alright, remove the packaging & here are the main items. Hmmm, from the looks of these batteries, they look quite cheap, but adding a USB from the removable battery cap is something new for us.😮
• [5th Image]: Speaking off, underneath the battery cap is a silver metal conductor, which when its cap is on it now reacts as a normal AA battery before you use it for any device that involves the aforementioned cell.
• [6th Image]: Isn't a cool feature, you two. My paper dolls completely agree, and they promised that they won't eat it. Even though they're made in the paper... Hehe.😁
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
7th to 10th Image(s) ↑:
• [7th Image]: Finally, we're now onto the comparison. I won't include my useless unbranded NI-CD AA batteries for this part, but I always have my trusty genuine Panasonic Eneloop AA batteries 🔋✅. And as you can see, they're different in their different ways, but the AA formats are literally the same. Also, I noticed that the left USB AA battery had a bit gap when I cap on. It doesn't sit well, and I assume the mini rubber band is the culprit.🤔
• Another thing is their amount mAh or Milliampere/hour. The unbranded USB AA batteries deliver 1450 mAh per cell, whereas the genuine Eneloop AA batteries deliver almost 2000 mAh, capable enough to energize my daily electronic device(s) than my unbranded ones. If my USB AA batteries could add a little more than just 1450 mAh. ⬆️🔋
• [8th & 9th Images]: On their polarities, the Eneloop's positive is bigger than the USB AA Battery, even the negative polarity had a huge round space for the Eneloop. But hey, size doesn't matter, at least it'll work functionally on our daily devices.
• [10th Image]: My paper dolls say that these batteries surely look different. But, they want to see a test if these USB AA Batteries are working. Don't worry, I'll get to that in my next part, okay?🙂
Overall:
• These USB AA batteries are really cool to own. Even if it's an unknown brand, sometimes it could be worth the price, even if it's a cheap knock-off it is still useful. 😊💵 Speaking off, I'll save the asking price for my final part.😉
Well, that’s all for now. If you haven’t seen my previous topic, then I’ll provide some links down below:↓

#8 Mobile homes are real trendy
"(hand signs) <I'm not a fan of riding inside BUTTTT it's fun to hang onto the roof while it's moving, you should try it!>" -Aki
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(The exterior of Aria's Automo, also known as her mini house on wheels. Colors not shown. Theo for scale as he is the tallest)
As most freelance Mappers are homeless wanderers, whatever they are carrying with them is most likely all they have to their name. Some mappers like the non committal lifestyle of just having a large backpack with them, while others are hoarders and end up with more or less a permanent mobile home in the form of a wagon of sorts. The most common type of mobile home is a wagon pulled by some sort of animal. But more rarely, the Mapper might have an Automo.
Automo is a catch all term for vehicles that moves by magic. What sort of magic HIGHLY depends on the manufacturer, every manufacturer has their own way of doing things. As Automos are basically large scaled magic devices, they take a lot of work to produce and gets an extremely hefty price tag due to that. Most Automos belong to a group or company, to own one as a personal asset is a luxury and a one time flex to say the least.
Tumblr media
(Interior of Aria's Automo, what it mostly looks like when everything is still neatly in their storage compartments. Driving control levers are not shown.)
Automos are always customized to some extent when they are bought, for better customer experience and less complaints. Aria's Automo is most notably customized to have a set of Mapping tools built right into the Driver's dashboard. It makes it more convenient to record location data while driving. The driver's seat can also recline fully to connect with the bed behind it, forming a full length bed. The interior of Aria's Automo is quite lived in, stock full of daily supplies and stuff that she held onto across the years, only out of view in cupboards as it would tumble around on a drive if it wasn't. Most of the items belong to Aria but there has been an increasing number of items that belongs to Theo and Aki mixed in since they joined her.
While out in the wilderness, the Automo is more or less Aria's room and map making workshop while the two teenagers hang out and sleep in their shared tent outside. But during the Shifting, all three of them would cram together inside the vehicle as a safety precaution, Aria's making sure she isn't going to get separated from her children any time soon.

The 5 Types Of Offshore Software Development Centers
Offshore centers are like secret weapons. They’re your ticket to doing more for less. Getting that same level of professional work, but with a smaller price tag? That's a win in anyone's book.
But it's not just about saving cash. It's also about working smarter. These offshore teams can take on the tech load, letting you focus on steering the ship. It's about teamwork, and doing what each does best.
Up next, we have the Build-Operate-Transfer ODC. It's like building a mini-version of your company, but on foreign soil. You wait for the offshore company to build the infrastructure, make it operational, and once it's fully functional, they hand over the reins to you.
This model allows you to establish your own team offshore but without the scary commitment. It offers you a direct line of command to the team, giving you control over your remote workforce. You set the pace, you call the shots, it's your team in your style.
The guys in the Software ODC are your workhorses. They code, debug, and make sure your software isn't throwing tantrums. What's great about them is that they work exclusively on your project and are completely aligned with your business objectives. Kind of like a remote team exclusively meant for you.
So, what's all the fuss about these offshore centers? Let's break it down. Think of offshore development centers as your overseas workspace. It's like an extra pair of hands, miles away, that handles all the tech stuff while you focus on leading your business.
Okay, but what exactly do they do? Well, it's a bit like setting up a brand-new office, except you don't have to deal with the stuffy paperwork or hiring decisions. That's where the offshore company comes in. They handle the mundane: setting up the workplace, plugging in the computers, and making sure the internet works.
Offshore centers are like those fast food value meals – only way healthier for your business. You get more bang for your buck, without skimping on the quality. All this might sound too good, but it's not a fluffy dream. It's real, and it's revolutionizing how firms operate.

This post is part of a series explaining the step-by-step process I use to enhance a set of minis that come with a board game. The whole series is tagged #KP2023SCY to make it easier to find.
Equipment and Materials
Painting the pieces is a great way to personalize a board game and make it more fun and easier to play. You will need a few things to get started, and the hobby of painting miniatures can go pretty deep if you love it hard enough. In this post, we'll look at the stuff that makes it all work. This list is far from exhaustive, but should give a good overview of the hobby.
Needed
Minis
Just to start with the obvious, you'll need a game with pieces you want to enhance. This can be something as elaborate as the figures in Scythe, Clank Legacy, and Marvel United; or you can give your Sorry pawns a fresh look and tattoo all your meeples.
Paint
Acrylic paints are the defacto standard of the craft. They dry quickly, dilute and clean up with water, and tend to be generally easy to work with. Model acrylics are engineered to make easy work, but I've used mid- and low-priced art acrylics as well. The experience tends to be like using dollar store crayons instead of name brand, but it is absolutely possible to get good results with all but the worst of paints.
Palette
Somewhere to hold your paints up between the bottle and the mini. This can be as simple as a paper plate. Dimple trays are widely accessible. I've seen people use glass or tile as a pallet. I have one that is literally an offcut of thin board with some primer on it.
Brush
Finger painting exists, and you actually can use it on minis if that floats your boat. Most people like a tuft on a stick because it gives a bit more precision.
A good natural hair brush with a sharp tip can make painting an absolute pleasure! I also have a blue plastic stick with some heavy nylon strands on the end that came with a dirt cheap watercolor set, and I use the thing sometimes! If you have a sharp-tipped brush in the house, you can probably do something amazing with it. As usual, better equipment will fight back less often.
Water
You don't have to thin your paints, but you'll get better results if you do (especially in the beginning).
You do have to clean your minis before you paint them because oils from your hands, manufacturing residue, and miscellaneous dirt will all make it harder for the paint to stick. Soap and cool water, scrub with a toothbrush. For bonus points, scrub again with isopropanol to make sure you've got everything as clean as it can be!
Enough light
When you can't see what you're doing, it probably isn't a magnification issue. (If you need magnification, use it!) More often than I'd like, the answer is to bounce some more photons off those tiny details and they pop right out.
Nice to have
Sable hair brushes
Natural brushes are more supple and responsive. They cost more, but they last a long time if you take good care of them.
Round brushes
These will help you improve your dry brushing game. Dry brushing let's you hit just the high spots on a surface, and it's just easier with a round brush.
Wet palette
The short drying time is one of the features that make acrylic paints so popular. But if you're going to spend a good chunk of the day painting, you'll probably have a lot of paint dry out on the palette. Wet palettes can help us avoid this waste. You can buy a commercial wet palette, or you can build one with a couple paper towels and some baking paper in a small tray.
Primers
Helps the paint stick to the mini, and provides opportunities for underpainting.
Hobby knife and sand paper
Lots of minis have lines and other marks from the molding process. It's nice to smooth those out before you paint.
Glue
Allows you to add things to the mini if you are so inclined.
Getting deeper
Air brush
Uses compressed air to turn paint into a fine mist and push it forward. This tool offers speed and lets you use the shapes of the mini to do some of the work for you.
Plastic cement
Less a glue and more a solvent that welds bits of plastic permanently together
Modeling compound and sculpting tools
Good for constructing custom parts and covering up gaps left by assembly.
Tufts
Pre-made bits of plastic designed to look like grass. Gives your mini somewhere to be standing.

Have you bought several computers before, but you are now in need of a new one and aren't sure which to buy? There are many considerations to take into account when purchasing a new desktop. The process can be more simple, though. This article will share some great advice about buying computers. Always use antivirus software. You could get a virus if you don't have this software. That software can take personal information and cause your machine to run slow. Many programs can scan and repair these on a schedule, and many new desktops have this software. If your computer is running slowly, you should do a boot check. Run the "ms config" program from the "start" menu. From this menu, look at what programs start when the machine boots. If there are programs listed that you don't use, set them, so they don't automatically start. That ought to make your system a bit faster. Take the desktop size and measure the space you will place it. It's a good idea to measure the space, horizontal and vertical, available for your desktop computer and compare it against the dimensions of the computer you'd like to purchase. Specific machines have smaller profiles, and others use lots of vertical areas. Know how much space you have before you buy a computer. Do you have a good amount of memory in the computer you might buy? Memory is one of the most important things about a computer. Do you need to store tons of data on a desktop? Are you a constant picture-taker? It would help you answer these questions honestly to find the most suitable computer for your needs. Things have changed in the world of computers, and now a ready-made desktop is typically less expensive than many laptops. You can buy a very serviceable one for around $400 at a local computer shop. Make sure you purchase your computer from a reputable establishment that stands behind its products. If you want an energy-saving alternative, consider a mini PC. They do not consume much electricity but usually provide ample processing power. This machine is good for you if all you do is check your email, surf the Internet, use Facebook, and create documents. Do not be lured in when a price drops significantly. Many people watch for deals before buying a computer. Then they never pull the trigger because they feel like an even better deal is coming. Usually, there isn't much difference in excellent buy, as whenever you see the best one for you, get it. Be very careful about buying a computer that is a low price. Many times, you get what you pay for. Try staying with reputable computer stores, online marketplaces, and manufacturers. It likely is if you think a deal is too good for reality. Independent dealers will have price tags that delight you, but the computers will not likely be precisely what is advertised and then break down on you. There isn't anything to be afraid of in buying a new computer. As stated above, technology does advance quickly, but you need to only worry about the basics. Use what you learned here and what you already know about computers; you can find just what you need.

Thistle and Thorn
Pairing: Kind of Simon "Ghost " Riley x f!Reader ( OC aka Mini MacTavish ) + Johnny " Soap " MacTavish + Captain John Price
Summary : Everyone's worst nightmare comes true. Something you don't even want to think about. EVER.
Warning: ANGST. PURE ANGST. Mature theme , death , swearing. English isn't my first language so expect a lot of mistakes with tenses. Not beta'd.
A/N : seriously, I don't know WHY the hell I am doing this to myself.
Thanks to @saltofmercury for agreeing to my silly fic request and also kindly letting me using her ideas/fic and expand the story from there. I promise her I'll always credit her story because she is my muse * holding Saltofmercury up high lion king style Continuation/parallel universe of “The Favorite MacTavish” , where the reader/OC is Soap's little sister.
“masterlist” for more stories to this Mini MacTavish expanded verse. ( AKA the true happy endings )
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You knew something wasn't right when Johnny didn't come home for Christmas as promised, what is even weirder was there was zero update from Gaz ( who you actually became good gossiping buddy during downtime), or Captain Price, even Ghost.
"I am sure Johnny and the team just stuck somewhere with the heavy snow, the weather been dreadful this winter. They will be home soon. " Ma comforted you as you voice your worry.
You came home a week earlier, excited as you finally get to see Johnny again after half a year and scoring victory in " who gets Christmas off " battle when your shift manager was organising everyone's holiday leaves.
Sure, for his line of work, it is hard to expect them to see their family often or even come home on time. But this time you just have this dreaded feeling you haven't felt for ages, like the time before Aunty Esme and Uncle Evan's fatal car crash. You have a strange sixth sense which is pretty much dead on ( excuse the pun ) everytime there's a death in the family.
Sitting by your bedroom window on second floor, you saw a Jeep pulling up towards your parent's front door. Immediately got up, grabbing a hoodie and making your way downstairs thinking its Johnny finally coming home and ready to greet him.
Walking through the hallway towards the staircase, you heard a man's voice, follow by your Ma's anguish cry, you ran downstairs as fast as you can. There you see Captain Price, with bandage peeking through his bonnie hat and he look like he has aged ten years. Your Da holding onto your Ma, comforting her with red brim eye, trying to hold it together at same time.
".. What is going on? Uncle Price? where is the rest of the team? where is Johnny?... Where is Ghost? " You started calling Price " Uncle " when rest of the squad jokes about how Price is like the uncle of the squad and the rest of them are like rowdy teenage kids.
Price just shook his head, beckoning you move closer to the front door. he hold his hand out, and you automatically reach forward , palms up.
Two dog tags. TWO. You swallow hard. Hands shaking.
" I am sorry Mini... Gaz and I barely made it out ourselves...we couldn't.. " he took a deep breath, word stuck in his throat. Reaching into his pocket instead, taking out a little Polaroid photo, a little laminated paper with dried thistle and put it on top of the dog tags in your palm.
It's a photo of you and a very begrudge looking Ghost, looking away from the camera. Both of you look like you been off your head. This was the photo that was taken after you met Ghost for the first time and narrowly lost to him after the drinking game.
The thistle, you made it into dry flower, laminated it onto piece of paper and gave it to Johnny when he came home years ago, announcing proudly he was selected to join the 22nd Regiment, elite force specialising in counter-terrorism.
" Good luck charm for you Johnny."
" A thistle?"
" Ya, well, other than it represent us Scot, you know what the meaning of thistle is? resilience, strength, determination, protection and pride. I want my favourite sibling to come home in one piece everytime. "
" I am your ONLY sibling. "
"And I love you too."
You knew this day will eventually come. The day Cousin Alec dragged Johnny into joining the army , you knew somehow you will lose them on the battlefield. Part of you wish they will come home in one piece, every time, after mission, and discharge honourably and move onto some safer or non-combating jobs.
You barely heard what Price said, " ... Ghost always have this photo with him all the time in his pocket. He look at it quite often, but he wouldn't admit it. " You hadn't had the chance to tell him how you feel. Now you will never have the chance again. EVER.
Tumblr media
" hey Soap "
" ... yes Ghost? "
"Two gold fishes in a tank. "
"... you told me that joke before. "
"... Soap. "
" Ghost. "
"... I am taking Mini out on a date next time we go home."
" .... Are you asking for my permission?"
" I am telling you. I am not asking for permission."
"Ghost."
" Soap."
"Don't fuck around with my sister."
".. I wouldn't hurt her. I will never hurt her."
Tumblr media
I am sorry.
Usually I am a happy ending person.. look, you can read this as a AU and "non canonical ( pff sounds like I own CoD, but I DON'T ) ending to the Mini MacTavish universe, because I don't want them to have bad ending. I just want to get this out from my head.

Buying iPad Cases For Kids
Tumblr media
When buying iPad cases, make sure to buy one that fits your model. While the same case may work for the iPad Air and Pro, the cover may not fit the iPad Air's larger screen. Also, be sure to choose a case that protects your iPad from drops and accidental bumps. The best cases are made of polyurethane and are extremely protective of your tablet. You should look for a polyurethane case that fits your iPad perfectly. To gather more awesome ideas, click here to get started https://www.i-blason.com/.
Some iPad cases are touch ID compatible, allowing you to use your touch-screen device while a case is on. Some also feature a built-in kickstand and handles. These cases are perfect for traveling and family use. Some models even come with an attached keyboard and mouse. Whatever you use your iPad for, it will be protected with an iPad case. If you're going on a long trip, buy a case that's made for long travel. You can click here for more info.
iPad cases are designed to protect your tablet from everyday drops and scratches. You may also want a case that protects your iPad from scratches and accidental bumps. Consider purchasing a case with built-in keyboards if you often drop your keys. Those features are essential if you plan to use your iPad for work or school. When buying iPad cases, make sure you check out the features and price tags of each case before making a purchase.
If you're looking for a case made specifically for the iPad, you'll want to look at some models with features similar to Apple's. If you're looking for a cheaper option, you can always check out a JETech case. While it's plastic, it's not as durable as the Apple case and won't last forever. It does protect the device from scratches and bumps and will even serve as a stand for your tablet. Another good case to look at is the Catalyst Waterproof Case For 10.2" iPad.
While cost is an important factor when buying iPad cases for kids, performance and price should also be considered. If you're looking for a product that is reliable and sturdy, look for a brand that is trusted by many people. The more popular the brand, the better. Remember that if a product is too expensive, it probably isn't. A good-quality ipad case for kids should be durable and provide protection for your device for months.
You can find iPad cases online for a good price. Most are reasonably priced and offer complete protection for your device. Some even have additional features that you can't find elsewhere. Just make sure to look for the model number before buying an iPad case. There's no point in buying something that doesn't fit, especially if you already have a protective case for your tablet. If you're unsure about the exact model number of your device, look at a few different cases and find one that fits perfectly.
When buying iPad cases for iPad mini, you should look for a case that protects the device from scratches and bumps. The ProCase case, for example, is made of ABS plastic. The case has dual standing positions so you can view your device in two different viewing angles. This case also provides a wake-up function when opened. Finally, you can use your case as a keyboard for your tablet. If you use your iPad often, a case that can keep it secure is a good choice. Kindly visit this website https://www.wikihow.com/Clean-a-MacBook-Air for more useful reference.
