Recently re-stumbled across the cutscenes of "Yoshi's Crafted World", this is basically my takeaway from them.

Why are we beating him up ?! He's baby ! /hj #plus KAMEK is the one doing all the kidnapping ! But I guess because Bowser is more brutish we have to fight him instead ?! #like I know fighting against children is a common thing in Mario games; but at least Bowser's kids are more than 3-4 years old #(ok but imagine if adult Bowser had a fear of Yoshis without knowing why #and Kamek stays silent about it; afraid of the repercussions if he tells him)
