While I would love to say I have been working on a monster I am going to drop in the next little while for everyone, unfortunately I can't say that :(

Not going into too much detail as it's rather personal, but something happened at the beginning of this year (like, right at the beginning, yay 2023 -.-) that has negatively impacted my vision. I basically cannot look at a bright screen for an extended period of time, which is problematic since my job basically entails staring at a bright screen.

Because of that, I have to be very selective with what I do since I have to save most of my screen time for work, which leaves very little time for writing right now. It has been a rough year :(

I am slowly (very slowly) improving though, and I did sign up for a bang that is due in October, so I'm hoping that the second half of the year will be better and I can power through all the fic ideas I had planned for this year that have been put on the backburner.

Time will tell I suppose. But I'm definitely still here/in the fandom, just haven't been able to write due to medical reasons. I shall be back eventually, just don't know when that will be (aside from October because I have to have my piece done by then for the bang haha).

So I stalk you on AO3 and I found this promt and my first thought was "Thats def gonna be Sherriff Stillinski" and I love you and you are awesome and you were the first person I thought of when I read it. 1/2

Okay but dude, wtaf that prompt is absolute fire and 100% Sheriff Stilinski after dealing with some bullshit of the week type of situation he was unceremoniously pulled into (thank you Stiles and your dumb Werewolf boyfriend and best friend, get new friends who are not Supernaturals please).

I've never written anything from someone else's POV in the series before, just Stiles and Derek, and given my current vision issues I am absolutely not promising anything, but that is a bomb ass prompt. Do you remember where it came from? (Just in case I do write it, I want to credit appropriately).

I don't usually do requests or suggestions or anything, but this one is definitely tickling my fancy and it'd be cool to write from the Sheriff's POV for once XD Thank you for thinking of me <3<3<3<3

Really sorry for the late reply, and for leaving people hanging since it seems to be the question of the year, my bad ^_^;; I had medical issues (sorry for spamming people with the same nonsense over and over!) that made writing hard, but am slowly coming back from it for the most part.

I have a bang fic coming out in October and will be trying to write at least one more fic before the end of the year :) I am definitely not out of this fandom, I am here for the long haul, and with how many ideas I still have to write, the long haul is looking longer and longer each passing day ;)

Anon this is so sweet ;~; I'm sorry it took me ten thousand years to reply. I feel like I should've tried to stay more on top of my Tumblr since a few people have asked if I'm okay, I AM SORRY, I AM BAD AT COMMUNICATION!

Just had some medical issues this year related to my vision, but it's clearing up for the most part (ie: where I am at is likely to be the new normal for me) so I'm slowly trying to get back into the swing of things.

I don't know if I'll ever be as fast as I used to be, but I'm gonna try and get my shit together so that hopefully I am relatively better next year and can get back to some kind of semi-regular writing and posting schedule :)

Hi! I love your writing, so I gave in and opened my ancient Tumblr so I can follow you on here as well as on ao3. I read you've been having trouble with your eyes and it means you cant write as much as you'd like; I have eye issues as well, and I have a tip that might help. I write and edit in a notebook, then use Google docs on my phone and use the voice-to-text to copy it into a file. It means I only need to do minor edits on a screen. I hope this helps :)

That is a really good tip about the writing. Voice-to-text doesn't work well for me because for some reason the words I say never come out how I want them to (apparently my phone thinks "chapter" and "character" are exactly the same word when I say it -.-), but I legit did not even consider the notebook thing because apparently I am an iiiidiot!

Technically typing out everything from a notebook shouldn't be impacting too much of my vision given I'd be looking at the notebook to type it rather than the screen 🤔 I mean, it's not ideal since it duplicates the work, but I hadn't even considered that since who uses pen and paper anymore? |D But even if the voice-to-text isn't a possibility, the notebook sure is and I have noooo idea why that didn't even occur to me until I read your ask! That might actually help until I can get back to a new normal, so thank you! Can't believe my lizard brain didn't even consider that!!!

It has been a challenging year for sure, but I have improved over the past few months where it is less intolerable to stare at screens for an extended period of time, so hopefully I can be back to my new normal relatively soon.

I did finish the bang that's set to come out in October, so that will drop soonish (not sure when as the schedule is not up to me) but I am also hoping to work on at least one more fic before the year ends. It's just been slow-going, but with the improvement I am trying my best with everything :)

So November’s been an absolute piece of shit to me and I haven’t even been on Tumblr at all except those two times I posted links to the Reverse Quickie. 

But I’m kind of over how shitty it’s been and decided like, an hour ago I was going to try and power through NaNoWriMo. I’ve got three days, so we’ll see if I can do it just for shits and giggles. 

I’ll update on Wednesday and see where I’m at, just for anyone who finds this entertaining.

i just wanted to drop by and tell you that i love your writing so much. your fics are amazing. they're so detailed and interesting, they have amazing plot lines, and your characterisations are SO GOOD. you writes novels' worth for free and honestly, it gives me so much joy that your works exist, and that there are people like you creating such amazing work and contributing to the fandom.

i can't really choose a favorite of your works. i've probably reread them countless times. however, the first work of yours that i read was waiting, and it was so good that i fell in love with and had to read basically all of your other stuff.

you've given me a lot of motivation to improve as a writer and i hope one day i can have the dedication and motivation to write fics as good and long as yours.

Could you recommend me a fix it for the movie? I am trying my best not to let this movie ruin my opinion of TW (since I refuse to watch it) and I hate characters dying for no other reason than shock value.

I did not watch the movie either because I did not need that train-wreck in my life |D But yes, heard only terrible things to be honest, so I am not surprised it may have ruined a bit of your love for TW :(

Unfortunately I don't actually read in the fandom I write in, so I am not the best person to ask about fix-it fics. I wrote one, but it was an AU so not really a fix-it depending on what specifically you're looking for.

Not sure if any of my followers can recommend something, but if not have you tried browsing @wheredidhiseyebrowsgo or @christinesficrecs? They are both really good for finding lost fics or for recommendations (I believe they both have tags pages, if I'm not wrong). They will likely have an abundance of fix-it fics since I know people were writing them like mad as soon as the movie came out :)

Do you know how talented you are? How absolutely incredible your writing is on its face but how completely AMAZING it is that you write that fanfiction for free?? Your Sterek is some of the most wonderful stories on ao3 and not just because it’s like a bunch of NOVEL. But because your plots are unique and engaging, because your characters are fully formed and really well structured, and because your writing itself is honestly really good.
