This is what the original cinemas of Festival Mall looked like today.
Only THREE screens are being used while the rest remain closed. These old cinemas started with the shopping mall's opening in 1998 and was a very fun place for moviegoers for more than a decade.
Festival Mall is located in Filinvest City in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines.
Cloak & Dagger (1984) is a very unique and enjoyable movie. While it is an adaptation of The Boy Cried Murder, it has its own unique take on the thriller genre mixed with aspects of 1980s gaming. This movie is a classic that is often overlooked. It is so good, it does not need a remake at all!
Cloak & Dagger (1984) is available on 4K Blu-ray format.
V: The Original Miniseries is an epic sci-fi mini-series that has to be seen from start to finish.
It truly is great to watch. Not only that, V: The Original Miniseries was restored and remastered for Blu-ray disc format and it looks better than ever! That said, I recommend you acquire the Blu-ray disc while it is still available.
Way back in 1987 here in the Philippines, I still remember how super excited students at our school became for this movie. Those who saw it in the cinema loved it and encouraged others to watch it.
The original cinemas of Festival Mall used to be a very lively place to watch movies at. Most of the screens there are closed and left dark as the mall has premium cinemas at the expanded area on the same floor. It remains to be seen if Festival Mall has any plans to revive commerce and activity at the old cinemas area.

In preparation for Starfield, I went sci-fi with entertainment by replaying Halo Infinite and Fallout 4 on my Xbox Series X. I also viewed Interstellar and Star Trek: First Contact on 4K Blu-ray format.
