Come Away (2020)

My rating: 3/10

So they seriously tried to "True Story Of" both Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, and they somehow managed to make it both obnoxiously twee and pretentiously morose. Also very, very boring. This is bad.

I know it's a long ways off but when they start casting for the live action movie adaptions for The Kane Chronicles on Netflix, I really hope they cast Ava Fillery as Sadie Kane.

She had a small role as Wendy Darling in Come Away (2020).

She's set to appear in the upcoming movie The Lost Girls (2022) as the young version Ella-Rae Smith's character Berry. Ella-Rae Smith is a Black and White biracial actress from the UK.

Ava Fillery is also biracial and from the UK. She's also around the right age for Sadie who was 12-13 in the books. Ava may actually be a little younger, but that just gives some buffer room for when Netflix is ready to start casting.
