hitting that point in a road trip where you're so bored and so sick of being in the car is actually so heinous. IT'S BEEN LIKE 8 HOURS. I CAN'T SLEEP I CAN'T READ MY PHONE IS NEARLY DEAD I'M BEING FORCED TO LISTEN TO YES (<- it's alright im jk) EVERY TIME I CHECK THE ETA IT'S ONLY BEEN A COUPLE MINUTES
#WE STILL HAVE AN HOUR LEFT#AURHGHH#IVE BEEN CHILLING IN MY MIND PALACE FOR THE OTHER 7 HOURS I CAN'T KEEP DOING THIS I NEED TO KICK SOMETHING#I NEED TO FROLICK AND BITE AND ROLL AROUND ON THE GROUND THIS SUCKS#i haaaate doing this trip tbh. it's our main city in this chunk of the state for events but it's still like 3 hours away#but it never takes 6 hours round trip it's always 8 somehow. full day excursion to shitville#and for some reason i don't ever bring the amt/level of distractions i need for it so i'm perpetually going out of my mind#booooo it sucks it's stupid and i hate it >:((#ouughhhn TWELVE MINUTES

like. first comes the general setting. i have to imagine this is a pre game setting. but our view of milites in game is so skewed towards cid aulstynes reign which we're told time and time again mid game that its NOT typical and that he rly pushed for a military campaign ft. taking OVER the crystal to control the lcies which hadnt been done before(?? in living memory).
two is that we never rly get to see lorica firsthand. it explodes, and thats that. we DO have all the resources that tell us about it, but thats still decently limiting. however, going with a pregame setting means that lorica is fair game. (which i fully intent to take advantage of re the snakes).
three and most important is that class zero does not exist. our little babies arent real, the sorcery division and its research on phantoma is limited, god isnt rezzing people. so thats an L.
four is taking liberties with the technological developments of milites and magical developments of rubrum outside of phantoma. i dont think theres a whole lot that really needs to be presumed w lorica and concordia that isnt just. we are leaving the dracobaltians underground. amen.

When you have had sleep schedule issues for your whole life, and you know sleeping on a normal night/day schedule is supposed to be healthy, and you try to fix your sleep schedule ALL THE TIME and under NO drug influence you ridiculously wake at 5 pm even after going to bed the night before at a reasonable time (1 am) then what are you even supposed to do with the day? Dress and look nice and then try to go to bed again at 1 or 12, or just throw in the towel and say fuck it?
