According to one expert, the gadget would start to be available in shops in late January if the present timeline is kept to. In addition to these launch projections, the analyst projects that shipments of Apple’s mixed-reality headset will reach a certain level in 2024, making it the company’s most significant product.

Apple Vision Pro mass sales are expected to start the first week of January of the next year, according per TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The gadget is expected to sell only 400,000 units at launch and hit the one million milestone by the end of 2024. Given the absurd $3,499 price tag of the headset, the favorable emotion around it indicates that these are inflated estimates. Kuo’s projection seems more realistic, but the analyst has also been shown to be wrong several times.

Nevertheless, favorable customer reviews ought to reinforce the product’s market consensus, which might account for Apple’s decision to provide select store staff with training on the high-end AR headset. Retail staff will be trained on how to approach customers and ask them to try out the Apple Vision Pro, positioning the device perfectly on their heads to help enjoy high-resolution content while providing a comfortable experience. The two-day training sessions are scheduled to begin in January.

A tiny portion of buyers are ready to risk $3,499 on a retail deal, but a good first impression may lead to that possibility. Furthermore, the Apple Vision Pro will only be accessible by appointment, and because there won’t be a wider rollout, only consumers in the United States will be able to test out the device first. With the first batch expected to arrive shortly, maybe Apple can expand into other regions and seize the mixed-reality headset market before its rivals do the same.
