Ok no joke but Ask Mantik Intikam is probably one of the MESSIEST Dizi’s I’ve watched in recent years. The writing of this show has been WILD.

Even though Dizi’s are usually less concentrated on the writing because of the rating system, but this show has seriously been off the hook. It’s like after episode 11 or 12 no one had any clear vision of anything. Other than, well, eating shrimps 🍤.

Needless to say, it’s such messy writing it’s ridiculous. No clear plot, aside from jealousy. Over and over and over again. And shit just… happens. With no consequences. I’m sorry but you still can’t convince me that Ozan would actually let go of the little girl HE ACTUALLY LOVED AND RAISED as his own daughter. Regardless of the fact that she’s not biologically related, his character would NEVER just let her go like “meh whatever”.

The writing is actually bonkers and it makes no sense.

how many episodes do you think AMI will end up with? I think Fox is up to like 12 shows right now for the season? I am concerned about the summer-to-fall ratings dropoff.

Oh my god I’m so pissed at Fox, I can’t even. I don’t know why they feel the need to have some kind of monopoly on all of the dizis. Why do they have to have 10+ dizis for this season??? They don’t even know if these newer dizis are even going to last, so they’re prob gonna end up sacrificing their older shows for these new ones that won’t make it past 10 eps. It’s so frustrating and no joke, the petty side of me doesn’t want to watch any of these new dizis just to spite Fox lmao (although tbh none of them really seem that interesting to me)

😤 Anywayyyy, yeah I can’t really guess how many more eps AMI is gonna get. I feel like I can get a better idea after this week’s episode, bc I know a lot of people are upset about where the story is going. If they continue with this storyline and ratings start dropping before the fall season even really starts, then I don’t think it’ll last for very much longer ☹️

There’s honestly something so painful in seeing Ozan, a man who has continuously been open and unapologetic about his love + emotions, completely shut down, become numb, detach from reality, lose hope and become a walking zombie. 

I prepared myself for Esra’s heartbreak... and the possibility of Ozan being angry at her. But nothing could have prepared me for the Ozan we saw. 

Kudos to the writers + burcu-ilhan for always giving us what we least expect! This episode was painful, yet brilliant.

Do you think Ozan will go through with the wedding? I’m scared the writers are going to go for a twist here and have him say yes.

God, I have absolutely no clue. I can’t even theorize which route they’re going to go. I could totally see them go either way with Ozan going through with the wedding or Ozan leaving at the last minute. I sincerely hope he leaves right before he says yes (sorry not sorry cagla) and that’s when he goes to ask Esra what happened when they were married. İNŞALLAH YANİ!

If they go the amnesia route…Esra better still think she’s married to Ozan. That’s the only amnesia storyline that I’ll go with.

Cagla is outta line. She’s BEEN outta line the last few episodes and she is a perfect example of princess syndrome.

Ozan was conflicted this episode and I need to see more of that. It’ll give Ilhan the opportunity to show us his acting but I want him (and AMI writers) to take it up a notch more. Angst it up if you will. Intensify Ozan. Cuz As much as I like to see him brood, it’d be kinda hot to see him in action. In terms of character build up I wish that they’d given us more from Ozan’s POV because we’ve seen Esra’s. Which is why we don’t find her character lacking. The miscommunication is probs the only thing I dislike. Burcu’s portrayal of Esra is endearing and resilient despite obstacles thrown her way. It’s a good role for Burcu. I just wish they’d given Ilhan more for Ozan. If AMI writers do go the amnesia route, I’d honestly love to see Ozan being aggressively assertive in 1) divorcing Cagla, 2) acting like a protective husband to Esra [at this point IDC abt Cagla and their marriage of convenience. The obligated fidelity he’s forced to carry out will be thrown to the wind in disregard because Ozan’s feelings for Esra far outweigh any allowances he’s given to Cagla], 3) Ozan Will at some point lose the company to the twins but hell get it back or start anew. The main HEA ending I envision is as long as Esra and Ozan are side by side whether they be rich or poor-they’re just simply together again.

Side not: I also wanna see Esra kick Cagla’s ass cuz what she did this episode was unacceptable!

Side side note: how the hell do you not have a password to your phone, Ozan?!!? The hell is that shit?!
