share some interesting fact about yourself: i went to a spanish speaking daycare when i was really young (like toddler aged) and then when i was like 7 i invented my own language (as one does) and half the words were just. spanish. my parents spent ages trying to convince me that i did not just come up w the word espagnol . i swear to god. and i was a stubborn know it all kid and i wasn’t gonna believe them on anything without irrefutable proof (and how do u prove that??) so their efforts were largely fruitless LOL

do you eat the burger and fries at the same time or one after another?: i consciously choose to eat burger first to get protein in. and THEN fries. if burger too hot then i get to eat two (must be even number) fries at a time until it cools enough to eat

winter or summer: summer <3 i love the beach i love the sun i love 6am runs where it’s already 75° i love swimming i love fun festivals. but also summer is a mindset . if it’s 65° in march im walking around in shorts and a tank top and sitting in the sun the entire day

would you write a makkinen where there is some kind of misunderstanding between mika and michael, where mika thinks he overhears michael talking about how mika isn’t good enough to be in f1 ? (it would be around 93-95 when schumi was reigning with benetton and mika was still getting a grasp on driving with mclaren). but the whole thing is a misunderstanding and it leads to a lot of angst and hurt on mika’s part?

I remember lando got so much flack for saying he doesn’t have sympathy for daniel but daniels also said something similar (if not identical lol) about another driver losing their seat in the past. I think he’d have a more nuanced answer now but, such is f1.

yeah! i think it’s a liiiittle bit more nuanced than that. like, lewis and seb both very genuinely seemed bummed when daniel didn’t have a seat after mclaren. max said that he would always prefer daniel in a car over him doing anything else. like i don’t think there’s zero feelings when it comes to this stuff. but also every profesh athlete will always spend 95 percent of their brain capacity on thinking about themselves. that’s just how it is!

HELLO THERE! 👋🏼

I caved and downloaded Tumblr again after so many years. I had a Tumblr account previously, but I lost access to it, so I created a brand new account, and here I am. Allow me to introduce myself.

I am J, pronouns she/her, from the PH 🇵🇭. I'm 28 y/o ('95 liner, baby!). I speak and write both in English and Filipino rather fluently, but I only ever use English on Tumblr.

I am an F1 fan; have been since childhood. Yes, I grew up watching Michael Schumacher dominate with Ferrari, also witnessed Fernando Alonso win WDCs with Renault and eventually move to McLaren. I also saw Kimi Räikkönen win his WDC with Ferrari; saw Lewis Hamilton win his WDC with McLaren, too. I am THAT old. However, I've only been watching F1 on-and-off since Schumacher retired for good, but still made myself familiar with the active drivers during those seasons. Currently re-orienting myself with everything F1 and it's been amazing.

With that being said, I am a LOUD and PROUD (and mildly delusional?) Tifosi. I know we haven't won a WDC since 2007 and WCC since 2008, but I still believe. Somehow.

My favorite F1 driver of all-time is, of course, Michael Schumacher. I will forever have a special place in my heart for that man.

My current favorite drivers are of course the Ferrari boys, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, and my favorite unemployed drivers (read: reserve drivers) are Daniel Ricciardo and Mick Schumacher (I did say I have a special place in my heart for Michael). You will never catch me not talking about any of these 4 drivers at any point, except probably when I'm asleep, at work, or dead.

I deeply respect all the drivers on the grid – yes, I mean ALL of them – so you can catch my hands if I see you talk smack about any one of them. Also, I don't like bringing other drivers down to lift another up; that's just being an asshole.

You might also catch me talk about other stuff here and there – KPop, musical theatre, just music in general. If you don't like those topics then you might not like being around me, lol. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I actually love writing, but I haven't had a burst of creativity for a looong time now. Maybe someday I'm gonna find that inspiration, start writing again, and post my work/s here. For now I'm just gonna use Tumblr for looking around and being engrossed in my interests.

I spent all my assets on this beauty, it's my most precious possession! And on the road, she's a killer. Together we have won the Vegas Race, one of the most prestigious in the Free State, three times in a row. Baby and I are the ultimate tandem of the best car and the best driver. It's not me who says it, it's the others!

Today I am a 24-year-old multiple Champion, the youngest winner of my generation, and my name echoes when I arrive with Baby. My life as a racer is fulfilled, but I aspire to always go higher, always take more risks. Baby and I are unstoppable.

Aston Martin will replace one world champion with another in 2023, when Fernando Alonso steps into the seat set to be vacated by Sebastian Vettel – with Team Principal Mike Krack calling the signing a “statement of our intent”. He managed to set no fewer than 23 records in one day at the Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) facility, where he made the most of the 4-kilometre straights. &nbsp; [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="620"] Rimac Nevera sets 23 records in Papenburg on Zoom[/caption] &nbsp; Dewesoft and RaceLogic representatives were on hand to independently verify the times and confirm the car was faster than advertised. Fitted with street-legal Michelin Cup 2 R tyres, the Nevera sprinted to 100 km/h in just 1.74 seconds, beating Rimac's official time of 1.85 seconds.
