hello! i'd like to ask for advice q.q so I currently have around 150 stones and 15 gacha tickets, but god I want to scout for Tales of Group D(bc look Iori is wearing Mikleo's clothes ;-;). then I want to scout for the 50stones discount. And then I want to scout for Riku's birthday. AND THEN THE 2ND ANNIVERSARY IS GONNA COME UP. I'm at a loss as to how to use my stones wisely, so would you give me some advice as to how I should spend my stones wisely? Sorry and thank you!!! QAQ

I’m flattered that you’re coming to me for advice because I impulse buy on stones a lot ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

That would be my first advice: don’t be like me and buy stones

ACTUAL ADVICE: From what I’ve experienced and seen, you have a greater chance at getting at least one Tales card in the final group than you are if you were to scout during the groups where there’s just two of them. I’m not guaranteeing that you WILL get a Tales card from the final group but you’ll have way better chances. 

My discord crew and I have been trying so hard to scout the characters that we wanted in the Order Please set, but we had no luck UNTIL the final group where everyone is included. I scouted 3 TIMES trying to get Tamaki from his group with Riku and had 0 luck but managed to get Yuki and Momo from my first discount roll in the final group, and then Riku and Tenn at full price right after - see what I’m trying to get at?

So, if you feel that you have better luck than me and you REALLY want Iori!Mikleo, then I say go for it. But if you’re feeling hesitant, don’t do it because you’ll feel a lot more disappointed when you don’t get the character you want if you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. I would say the same thing for Riku - if you love the pure red head from the bottom of your heart, you’re willing to go to the ends of the Earth for him, TO THE MOON AND BACK FOR HIM, then go for it. But if you don’t like him that much, sometimes you just gotta grit your teeth and pass and wait for potentially better card sets. 

I love Nagi and Tamaki to death but I skipped their birthday gatchas because 1) I already have a lot of Tamaki cards as it is and 2) I think the Tales set is more unique and interesting over Nagi’s birthday gatcha (I mean that in the nicest way possible).

In terms of the maximum payoff, I would scout for the 2nd anniversary. Because not only are SRs and SSRs the only types of cards in the pool but they might also revive some of the limited card sets that you might not have been able to get. 

Sometimes hyperbolizing in combination to prioritizing what you absolutely want is the best way to decide which gatcha is worth more to roll for.
