Unrequited 3tan!bro theory re:upcoming chapter:

My theory is that 3tan!bro will actually be pretty cool with oc and Yoongi dating. Lemme explain.

For reasons unknown he behaves like his sis is a Victorian maiden who is not allowed to ever think of a man, let alone be in a vicinity of one. Like, if bro had his way, she’d be thinking of England and crocheting warmers for basketballs (I am exaggerating heavily here, don’t come for me) - and we know Yoongi has a reputation that bro is probably far from pleased with.

But now we have them both, literally and figuratively, in the game. The way I see this playing out (and keep in mind Ryen, these are just my delulu thoughts, whatever you come up with will probably be way better than this) is one of the assholes from the other team gets into oc’s face/says something innapropes/derogatory. And Yoongi will straight up lose his fucking mind. At which point bro will have a clarity moment, do a double take between Yoongi and oc and the realization will hit him like a trainwreck that is his absolutely rizz free life. He’s probably gonna be like “this is unexpected… but… sorta makes sense. Fuck it”, which will further baffle/annoy Yoongi and oc. But in bro’s mind, any man who’s as protective of her as Yoongi is in that moment, is worth it.

It doesn’t mean that he won’t try to give Yoongi the obligatory “hurt my sister once and I will destroy you” talk, but we probably all know that’s coming either way.

3tan!bro is the cinnamon roll who looks like they could kill you, but is actually a cinnamon roll in my mind.

idk why but the scene when y/n and yoongi are in the car together and he was so close in dropping her off at her house but that…. silent pleading to stay with him for a while before things fade away again, that yearning to want to be close to each other, that intimacy??? in the car before he’s like “stop.” and starts driving away. oh. That Bro might actually be glad OC and Yoongi are dating? Sure, he may be a bit miffed about how it started without him knowing, but since he's seen their individual struggles firsthand, and them being together and finding joy and stability with each other might actually be reassuring to him.

Considering their family wasn't good to the siblings, so his best friend and sister being together is an extension of found family becoming formal.

So he might feel like he has FAMILY again who have his back

He might actually be a bit emotional and invested.
