One year ago, just after the battle with the demogorgon, Eleven runs through the Upside Down version of the middle school filmed at Patrick Henry High School until she finds a route back to the normal world.

El makes it back to the Wheeler house at 2530 Piney Wood Lane only to find the place swarming with cops and government agents telling lies about her.

Back in the present, the boys are all preparing the halloween costumes for school. Dustin and Lucas get their pictures taken by their mothers at 2886 Piney Wood Drive & 2550 Piney Wood Lane respectively.

Nancy is studying with Steve in the library at Patrick Henry High School but she can’t concentrate because of her increasing guilt over Barb.

In the police station at 48 Pray Street Hopper receives a visit from another irate farmer whose pumpkin crop is dying.

The boys go out trick-or-treating starting at 2545 Piney Wood Lane next door to Mike & Lucas’s houses and are soon ambushed by Max who wants to join.

Stranger Things #201 “Chapter One: MADMAX”

A year has past since the defeat of the Demogorgon. Dustin & Lucas are intrigued by a new kid at school, Mike still misses Eleven, Will struggles with the aftermath of his experiences, and Nancy with the loss of her friend.

The episode opens with an exciting action scene set in Pittsburgh. Kali and her gang start by running out of the apartment at 81 Peachtree Place NE.

They are then chased by the cops north up Cone Street NW from Marietta and then around the corner onto Williams Street NW.

They hop over to Bluff Street Southwest where the cops find them again. They make it over to Glenn Street SW east of Metropolitan where Kali creates the illusion of a collapse tunnel to stop the pursuit.

Back in little ‘ol Hawkins, Dustin races through his house at 2886 Piney Wood Drive searching for quarters for the arcade.

Mike steals the change from Nancy’s piggy bank and she chases him out of their home down the street at 2530 Piney Wood Lane.

They all arrive at the arcade at 6501 Church Street in Douglasville (a former laundromat) where Dustin notices his top score in Dig Dug has been bested by someone called MADMAX.

A few blocks over at the police station at 48 Pray Street, Hopper arrives at work to find the local conspiracy theorist waiting for him.

Meanwhile the kids are all heading to middle and high school for the day. While portrayed as two separate buildings in the show, all of these scenes are shot in different parts of Patrick Henry High School in Stockbridge.

Joyce is working at Jackson Drug in Jackson when Bob shows up for some kissy times in the back room.

Then Joyce and Hopper go with Will to Hawkins National Laboratory in Building A of Emory University where they meet with the new head to the project who examines Will after his latest episode.

Nancy and Steve have a very uncomfortable dinner with Barb’s parents at their home at 2980 Piney Wood Drive.
