Barcelona’s Hotel El Palace
The Palace Hotel was designed by Eduard Ferrès for César Ritz and opened in 1919, a year after the death of the famous hotelier. During the Spanish Civil War the hotel was captured and renamed the Hotel Gastronómico N.º1 in an attempt to socialize the hotel industry. It was recaptured in 1937 and for a time turned into government offices before being returned to its original purpose.

Almería’s Fuerte El Condor
Constructed in 1970 as one of the primary locations of the film El Condor, very little of this once grand film set remain after half a century of neglect.

The Farmhouse of the Friar is a stone farmhouse constructed in the 18th century by Dominican friars. It consisted of an oratory, bell tower, crypt, ovens, stables, and more surrounding a central courtyard.

The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia is a Gothic cathedral which began construction in 1298 and was mostly completed in 1420, though the façade and central tower weren't finished until 1913.

Madrid’s Palace of Linares
The Palace of the Marquis of Linares was designed by Carlos Colubí, Adolf Ombrecht, and Manuel Aníbal Álvarez in 1877. The palace went disused after the Spanish Civil War but was eventually restored in 1992 when it became the headquarters for Casa de América.

Madrid’s Caryatid Building
Headquarters to the Instituto Cervantes, a nonprofit organization tasked with promoting and teaching the Spanish language and culture. The building was designed original by architect Antonio Palacios in 1910 as a branch of the Spanish Rio de la Plata Bank. It was eventually sold to the Madrid City Council and then the Spanish Government and converted to Instituto Cervantes headquarters in 2006.
The building can be seen above as a bank in Deception and as a museum in The Vault.
