BRIDGERTON FIC EXCHANGE

Welcome to my first Bridgerton fanfic exchange (well my first ever exchange). If you don’t know what a fic exchange is, don’t worry. I’m here to help. They do vary from person/fandom etc, but this is how this one will run.

You (the author) will need to submit a few things via the google submission form above

1. A prompt you would like to read - this can be as detailed as you want, or as small as you want. If the prompt is from somewhere else (i.e a tumblr/twitter account, please credit them). Otherwise, be as creative as possible. Please also include an ideal rating. When submitting a prompt ideally submit which pairing/s you would like to be involved. If you don’t submit a pairing &/ rating it is up to the writer who gets it. You can submit as many prompts as you like (not all may be written)

Now, as an author, I will ask you also to submit a few things. Your tumblr/twitter handle (so I can contact you). Which pairing/s you would like to write. And what ratings you are willing to write.

I will then provide each writer with a prompt (not theirs) to write. Obviously there may be occasions where some prompts may not be paired due to availability, so feel free to submit as many prompts as you wish, however if too many prompts, they will not be written. If I do get more prompts than writers, they will be published after the exchange as a free-for-all.

This will begin anonymous, it’s meant to be a bit of fun, so please do not talk about what prompts you’ve received with others or what prompts you’ve sent. The aim is to guess who has written what, it’s an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone too.

HOW TO SUBMIT: You can post directly to the moderated collection on AO3, send it via email to [email protected], or share it via a google doc to the same email.

Parings can be any pairing at all. Canon, non-canon. M/M, W/W.

Will accept all ratings.

There is no word count. Ideally something more than 1k words, but you can write to your heart's content if you so wish.

These will just be oneshots (although if you really wish to write 50k words in a one part fic then go for it)

These will be posted anonymously to a collection on A03 until the reveal date.

If you want to remain anonymous, you can do so, just let me know. Only I will know who you are.

If you want to create artwork for your work, go for it.

You can have a beta. Just try to remember that this is meant to be a game and a bit of fun with the whole anonymous thing and guessing who's who.

I will screen each fic, and if there’s any issues or I think it is tagged incorrectly, I will let you know. However, I will not have the time to edit the fic. (Hence allowing you to have a beta if you so wish)

MM - The Mechanics

It’s murder day! 30 minutes from now, at 3pm bst, the crime will be released for all of you to gaze upon and then detective your way out of it. However, an Andromeda murder mystery isn’t like your typical camp murder mystery.

In the campdnp discord server there will be specific chats for every tent, so make sure you’re in the server and you have your tent role/set up a representive for your tent in the server who can communicate for you. Server invite

Every “in game” murder mystery day will have 4 rounds of questioning (except for the first, there’ll only be 3 rounds in that day). For every round of questioning a tent can choose to call in one of the suspects and ask them 3 questions about the case. This is what a typical day looks like:

Saturday, July 18th: 0800-1100: First round of questioning. 1200-1500: Second round of questioning. 1600-1900: Third round of questioning. 2000-2300: Fourth round of questioning.

Here’s where it gets funky. Every tent has their own narrative and the questions you ask/the people who you decide to question and when you do that will influence the plot of your murder mystery. The things you do might result in the death of more people than the original victims, or you might be able to save someone by paying attention to the details.

Use this time until the murder mystery starts to prepare, come up with your tent’s strategy + ask any questions you might still have about how all of this works and then I’ll see y’all later. Let’s get sleuthing!

Macclesfield leveled quickly, and within 16 minutes the whole situation was turned upside down, Swindon hit twice to sink their opponents by a final 3-1 defeat.

And so County – one of the promotion's favorites in August after investing in the squadron – joins the advance of the familiar league that has fallen to the fifth tier: gentlemen like Luton, Oxford, Tranmere, Chesterfield and Wrexham.

With the club offered for sale, all potential buyers will have noticed the considerable fan base of County, according to bringing nearly 2300 fans to the south for this unwanted historic occasion.

They were noisy before the kick-off, making it more like the home game against the team anchored in the middle of the table after their promotion challenge

At least the task of the visitors was uncomplicated in the cold wind, knowing that they simply had to win a chance of survival, with a difference in goals seven inferior to the Silkers.

MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual – Nghệ thuật hợp nhất Quá khứ và Tương lai

Được giới thiệu vào cuối năm 2015, Legacy Machine Perpetual là một trong những chiếc đồng hồ phức tạp nhất của MB&F. LM Perpetual được sản xuất dưới 3 phiên bản bằng platinum, vàng trắng và vàng đỏ. Mới đây, năm 2018, MB&F giới thiệu tới giới mộ điệu phiên bản LM Perpetual bằng titanium với mặt dial màu xanh lá. Đây là chiếc đồng hồ mới nhất trong Bst Legacy Machine của nhà MB&F.

Về bộ sưu tập Legacy Machines của MB&F

Phải thú nhận rằng, tôi là một fan cuồng nhiệt đối với những mẫu đồng hồ thuộc bộ sưu tập Legacy Machine của MB&F. Những chiếc đồng hồ được lấy cảm hứng trực tiếp từ những ý tưởng sáng tạo của Max Busser – nhà sáng lập của MB&F. Mục tiêu chính của Max cho bộ sưu tập đó là đưa bản thân quay trở về những năm 1867 – một trăm năm trước ngày sinh của ông để quan sát đồng hồ đeo tay nhằm kết nối chúng với ý niệm khoa học viễn tưởng, từ đó kiến tạo nên những “cỗ máy chỉ thời gian” dưới hình dáng của đồng hồ cổ điển (hình tròn) nhưng với góc nhìn từ tương lai.

Nhớ lại khi lần đầu tiên mẫu đồng hồ Legacy Machine LM1 được ra mắt vào năm 2011, nó trông không giống bất kỳ chiếc đồng hồ “classic” nào mà tôi đã nhìn thấy. LM1 gợi nhắc tôi đã từng sáng tạo như thế nào, giúp tôi cảm giác mình trẻ trung hơn vì xung quanh tràn ngập ý tưởng. Hơn nữa, sự ra đời của chiếc đồng hồ còn thúc đẩy sự sáng tạo của riêng tôi và tôi bắt đầu nghĩ về đồng hồ đương đại có thể tiến hoá xa được đến chừng nào.

Trên đà thành công, Max tiếp tục giới thiệu tới giới mộ điệu nhiều phiên bản khác của dòng Legacy Machines như: LM2, LM101, LM Perpetual, LM Split Escapement. Nhưng trong số đó, chiếc đồng hồ để lại nhiều ấn tượng nhất có lẽ là mẫu LM Perpetual ( Lịch vạn niên ). Một lần nữa, Max cùng những người bạn của mình đã phá bỏ quy ước truyền thống và mở ra một lăng kính mới để nhìn thời gian.

Góc nhìn mới

Legacy Machine Perpetual – đúng với tên gọi, chiếc đồng hồ được trang bị trong mình chức năng lịch vạn niên siêu phức tạp nhưng với cách thức vận hành hoàn toàn được cải tiến, thoát khỏi những giới hạn truyền thống và mang đậm chất MB&F.

Bên cạnh chức năng theo dõi giờ và phút, một chiếc đồng hồ lịch vạn niên thông thường sẽ có thêm chức năng xem thứ, ngày, tháng và đôi khi đi kèm khả năng hiện thị vòng quay Mặt trăng (Moon phase). Tuy nhiên, không giống với đồng hồ lịch thường niên, đồng hồ lịch vạn niên cho phép người đeo 100 năm mới phải điều chỉnh đồng hồ 1 lần, cụ thể thay đổi vào những năm 2100, 2200, 2300, etc..khi quy ước năm nhuận không được áp dụng.

Hầu hết các bộ máy lịch vạn niên thường sử dụng một chiếc đòn bảy dài, chạy cắt ngang ngay trên bộ máy chuyển động, từ đó cho phép truyền thông tin tới trục trung tâm nơi hoạt động của các mũi kim thời gian (kim giờ, phút, giây). Theo truyền thống, bộ máy lịch vạn niên vận hành theo sự mặc định rằng tất cả các ngày trong tháng đều là 31 ngày. Vào những tháng có ít hơn 31 ngày, cơ chế bộ máy sẽ nhanh chóng bỏ qua các ngày tiếp theo và chuyển sang ngày đầu tiên của tháng mới. Bất kỳ thao tác hoặc điều chỉnh nào trong quá trình chuyển đổi này diễn ra đều có thể dẫn đến làm hư hỏng bộ máy, đòi hỏi chi phí sửa chữa tốn kém bởi nhà sản xuất.

LM Perpetual được lên ý tưởng và phát triển bởi Stephen McDonell và Max Busser (nhà sáng lập MB&F). Trong lịch sử, chính Stephen đã góp công sức không nhỏ cùng Max sáng tạo nên chiếc đồng hồ đầu tiên của thương hiệu – mẫu HM1, sản phẩm đặt nền móng cho vũ trụ MB&F sau này.

Stephan McDonnell sinh ra và lớn lên tại Bắc Ai-Len, đồng thời anh cũng là một nghệ nhân đồng hồ độc lập. Tài năng của anh được nuôi dưỡng và phát triển nhờ vào chương trình đào tạo chuyên sâu về đồng hồ tại Thuỵ Sỹ, có tên gọi WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational Program). Sau đó, chính anh cũng đã được lựa chọn để trở thành giảng viên tại WOSTEP. Với niềm đam mê và kinh nghiệm lâu năm trong nghành đồng hồ, Stephen dành nhiều thời gian quan sát những bộ máy phức tạp và nhận thấy rằng có một vài điểm yếu bên trong bộ máy chức năng lịch vạn niên.

Cách làm của Mc Donnell rất đơn giản, anh tận dụng cách thức hoạt động của bộ máy lịch vạn niên trong chu kỳ 28 ngày thay vì 31 ngày. Sau đó, Stephen sáng chế ra một bộ phận riêng biệt, có tên gọi “ bộ xử lý cơ học “, nhờ cải tiến này bộ máy lịch vạn niên của Stephen cho phép hiện thị các ngày 28, 29, 30 hoặc 31 hàng tháng có nhịp độ di chuyển ngang bằng với nhịp độ di chuyển của 28 ngày đầu tiên, nhằm tạo sự thay đổi ngày và tháng tức thì trong khi không đòi hỏi sự thay đổi nhịp độ di chuyển từ các bộ phận chuyển động. Với sự cải tiến này, bộ chuyển động của Stephen đảm bảo tránh được các lực tác động ngoài ý muốn trong quá trình chuyển tiếp giữa các tháng, nâng cao độ chuẩn xác trong việc đo thời gian, ngày, và tháng.

Chưa dừng lại ở đó, tất cả các chức năng trên chiếc MB&F LM Perpetual đều có thể điều chỉnh vô cùng thuận tiện qua nút Crown và 4 nút bấm (pusher) được bố trí kín đáo xung quanh cạnh đồng hồ. Ngoài ra, các nút bấm này được thiết kế vô cùng gọn gàng, không quá nhô ra nhằm tránh sự kích hoạt ngoài mong muốn trong quá trình sử dụng.

Sự bùng nổ cơ khí

Sự khác thường của MB&F LM Perpetual không đến từ vẻ đẹp nghệ thuật đầy mê hoặc, chính xác hơn chiếc đồng hồ là sự hội tụ giữa cái đẹp nghệ thuật và lịch sử hàng trăm năm của ngành chế tác đồng hồ. Có thể nói, đây là một chiếc đồng hồ đeo tay mà chính nó trực tiếp vẫy gọi, thôi thúc người đeo tiến gần hơn tới mặt đồng hồ để đắm chìm vào trong không gian của các chi tiết bên trong bộ chuyển động. Người đeo nên dành cho chiếc đồng hồ này một sự tôn trọng với một ánh mắt di chuyển từ tốn, chậm rãi để thưởng thức trọng vẹn sự tinh tế của các chi tiết. Cho dù ánh mắt người đeo có dồn sự tập trung vào đâu bên trong chiếc đồng hồ đi nữa, thì chắc hẳn chi tiết đó cũng sẽ kích thích và lôi cuốn sự thích thú của người đeo.

Stephen thể hiện bản thân là một người dành rất nhiều sự ưu ái cho các chi tiết như bánh xe, bánh răng cưa và đòn bẩy bên trong đồng hồ. Qua đó, anh đã khéo léo kéo tấm rèm để lộ ra ngoài ánh sáng vẻ đẹp của gần hết 581 chi tiết bên trong, dường như chúng đang bay giữa không trung với sự bảo vệ từ mái vòm sapphire ở phía trên. Giống như tất cả các mẫu đồng hồ khác trong bộ sưu tập Legacy Machines, LM Perpetual sẽ không thể trở nên hoàn mỹ nếu như thiếu đi sự có mặt của bánh xe cân bằng (balance wheel) cùng với cây cầu đỡ bằng titan hình chữ V đặc trưng nằm ngay tại trung tâm của chiếc đồng hồ. Nhịp đập luôn dao động trong khoảng 2.5Hz.

Chức năng hiển thị giờ và phút được tóm gọn bên trong 1 vòng tròn nhỏ đặt tại hướng 12 giờ. Cũng giống như các mẫu đồng hồ khác cùng dòng Legacy Machines, vòng tròn này được các nghệ nhân sử dụng kỹ nghệ sơn mài tinh xảo, điểm nhấn bằng những chi tiết số La Mã. Kim giờ và kim phút mang màu xanh, tăng cảm nhận về sự cổ điển cho người đeo. Nhìn xa, vòng đĩa tuy nhỏ nhưng mang trong mình bố cục hài hoà, hấp dẫn người đeo. Phần hiển thị ngày , tháng và thứ lần lượt cũng được đặt trong các vòng tròn vệ tinh tại các vị trí 3,6,9 giờ. Các mặt đồng hồ phụ này cũng được chế tác bằng kỹ nghệ sơn mài nhưng được loại bỏ phần trung tâm, chỉ giữ lại phần viền để hiển thị các đơn vị ngày, tháng và thứ.

Tại hướng 5 giờ, người đeo có thể theo dõi mức năng lượng dự trữ của đồng hồ với hoạ tiết hình vòng cung cùng dây kim màu xanh. Tiếp, tại hướng 7 giờ, thông tin về chu kỳ năm nhuận cũng được hiển thị, nhằm thông báo tới cho người đeo.

Mặt sau của LM Perpetual cho thấy sự đổi mới trong kỹ thuật của nhà MB&F và bộ máy chuyển động được sản xuất hoàn toàn “in-house”. Nếu để ý chi tiết, người đeo sẽ thấy rằng không có bất kỳ sự tương đồng nào trong bộ chuyển động của LM Perpetual giống với các mẫu Legacy Machine trước đó. Trong khi trên các máy Legacy khác, chúng ta thường thấy tên của Kari Voutilainen được khắc ngay trên bộ máy – chuyên gia chuyên tư vấn và hoàn thiện các bộ máy Legacy Machine của MB&F. Tuy nhiên, tại phiên bản LM Perpetual Calendar, tên của Kari Voutilainen không còn xuất hiện nữa, nhưng không vì vậy mà các chi tiết hoàn thiện của mẫu đồng hồ mất đi sự tiêu chuẩn khắt khe của kỹ nghệ làm đồng hồ truyền thống. Các góc cạnh và chi tiết bên trong đồng hồ đều được đánh bóng bằng tay.

Di sản đương đại

LM Perpetual là một chiếc đồng hồ đặc biệt, ngay từ cái tên của bộ sưu tập đã nói lên tất cả - “ Legacy Machine - Những cỗ máy di sản”. “ Di sản” là cụm từ thường gợi mở trí tưởng tượng tới những điều cũ kỹ, truyền thống nhưng mang nặng dấu ấn ảnh hưởng tới sự phát triển của loài người nói chung.

Nay lại được kết hợp cùng cụm từ “ những cỗ máy”, ám chỉ sự giao thoa tuyệt vời giữa quá khứ và tương lai nhằm tri ân tới những giá trị truyền thống nhưng với tâm hồn luôn hướng về tương lai.
