Francis-Marie Martínez Picabia (París, 22 de enero de 1879-Ib., 30 de noviembre de 1953) fue un pintor francés. el postimpresionismo, el cubismo, el fauvismo, el dadaísmo, el surrealismo y el arte abstracto.
Picabia descendía por vía paterna de una familia arribada a Cuba procedente de Galicia; su madre era vascofrancesa. Los padres de Picabia se conocieron en París cuando su padre trabajaba como diplomático en Francia.  Hizo también pintura figurativa, dibujo y collage. Estudió en École des Beaux-Arts y en la Escuela de Artes Decorativas de París. Recibió una fuerte influencia impresionista y fovista, en especial de la obra de Pissarro y Sisley

This is my canon timeline for the Torchwood TV stories, novels, and audio productions. It's fairly similar to the wiki timeline with a few small tweaks. It's also completely spoiler free, unlike the wiki timeline.

In 1918 Picabia became a member of the Swiss Dada group, and in 1919, after returning to Paris he became one of the most influential Dada artists in Zurich and Paris.

Francis-Marie Martínez Picabia (París, 22 de enero de 1879-Ib., 30 de noviembre de 1953) fue un pintor francés. el postimpresionismo, el cubismo, el fauvismo, el dadaísmo, el surrealismo y el arte abstracto.
Picabia descendía por vía paterna de una familia arribada a Cuba procedente de Galicia; su madre era vascofrancesa. Los padres de Picabia se conocieron en París cuando su padre trabajaba como diplomático en Francia.  Hizo también pintura figurativa, dibujo y collage. Estudió en École des Beaux-Arts y en la Escuela de Artes Decorativas de París. Recibió una fuerte influencia impresionista y fovista, en especial de la obra de Pissarro y Sisley
