TC-497 Overland Train, Mk II by R.G. LeTourneau (1962). The LCC-1 was so successful that the US Army contracted LeTourneau for a larger version. The TC-497 Overland Train Mark II has four 1,170-hp Solar 10MC gas-turbine generators, one in the control car and three others spread out along the train. At 572 feet long, it is the longest trackless train ever built, able to carry 150 tons of cargo at 20mph. Each car now has four steerable wheels. Steering commands are sent from the control car to each set of wheels in turn, timed so that they turn at the same points where the control car turned. The vehicle performed perfectly in testing, but the US Army abandoned it before it saw service, as it was rendered obsolete by the introduction of the Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane heavy-lift helicopter.

How much iodine do you usually get on a vegan/plant based diet?

I would like to know how necessary iodine supplementation really is. i know you can get iodine from seaweed naturally, but most people dont eat that everyday, if at all. then plants contain iodine if the soil contained it. hows the situation with most soils in agriculture today? for reference i googled that a sweet potato has about 10mc iodine/100g on average, just like rice. such amounts would easily get you 2 times the rda or even more without supplementing. but those were from a country in africa. how is it in europe and the us?

my heart breaks for 10mc fr tho like imagine being kidnapped and the one that took you, who is supposed to love you more than anything, still allows his father to treat you like absolute trash. practically got stolen for no reason when jk could have just took his dad hostage since that’s his real obsession.

if mc had noticed how much he put his father over her and finally snapped and told jk she would never love him until he put her first would he have actually given up on his father “approval”? I keep thinking about her telling jungkook to prove his love by killing his father or she’ll never love him 🤪

In Jungkook's mind, he is putting the MC first. If he were putting his father first then he would be "training" the MC the way his father expects him to and I think he would explain that to the MC. He is putting her first by going against the established tradition in his family.

If the MC were to ask him to kill his father to prove his love for her, he wouldn't do it. The reason he killed his father was because he saw him hurt not only his mother but the MC as well. The years of repressed trauma and anger finally came to a boiling point.

EN ESPECTACULAR OPERATIVO POLICÍAS MUNICIPALES DE AGUASCALIENTES RESCATARON A 5 PERSONAS QUE ESTABAN EN EL INTERIOR DE UN DOMICILIO EN CONTRA DE SU VOLUNTAD

Tras un espectacular operativo, Policías Municipales de Aguascalientes rescataron a 5 personas que estaban en el interior de un domicilio en el Infonavit Pilar Blanco en contra de su voluntad, logrando la detención de uno de los presuntos responsables en poder de un arma de fuego.

Los hechos se registraron en el interior de un domicilio ubicado en el Andador Albatros, Edificio 10MC, del fraccionamiento Infonavit Pilar Blanco, a donde se trasladaron elementos de la Delegación Insurgentes luego de que se recibió un reporte en el que se manifestaba que en un domicilio de dicho edificio, habían ingresado al menos cuatro personas, al parecer algunas de éstas armadas, mientras que otras parecían ir en contra de su voluntad.

Asimismo, vecinos del inmueble mencionaron que se escuchaba el ruido de más personas en el interior del inmueble a las que parecían estar golpeando, por lo que se solicitaba la intervención de la Policía Preventiva de Aguascalientes a la brevedad.

Por lo anterior, uniformados de la corporación municipal arribaron de inmediato a la ubicación y al estar acercándose al domicilio, observaron que dos personas del sexo masculino se daban a la fuga corriendo por la azotea del edificio. 10MC, uno de ellos pantalón de mezclilla en color azul y playera negra, y el otro con vestimenta en pants azul y playera negra, momento en que los oficiales intentaron ir tras los sujetos para asegurarlos, sin embargo al tomar rutas distintas desde la azotea pudieron evadir a los elementos.

Pese a ello y sin dejar de lado la información del reporte, los policías preventivos se dirigieron al domicilio siendo interceptados por una ciudadana que les manifestó ser la propietaria del lugar, autorizándoles el ingreso a la vivienda, luego de tocar y solicitar en repetidas ocasiones, que abrieran la puerta de forma voluntaria.

Al abrir el domicilio los elementos municipales encontraron a varias personas sentadas en un sillón, observando a su vez a un sujeto de complexión delgada y tez morena en poder de un arma de fuego tipo escuadra, que corrió al interior del lugar refugiándose en una de las recamaras, hasta donde se trasladaron los uniformados logrando persuadir a la persona utilizando los comandos verbales para que arrojará el arma al piso, no obstante al momento de hacerlo, enseguida intentó darse a la fuga por la ventana, siendo asegurado rápidamente por los elementos, evitando que lograra su objetivo.

Las personas rescatadas son: una mujer de 23 años y 4 personas de sexo masculino de 29, 27, 24 y 21 años de edad, quienes al momento de su rescate manifestaron estar en contra de su voluntad en ese sitio, señalando a la persona ya detenida como uno de los presunto responsables.

Asimismo, el arma de fuego Marca Sig Sauer Inc. Exenter y un cargador abastecido con cinco cartuchos útiles, y uno más en la recámara, fue asegurada y resguardada conforme al protocolo.

Por lo anterior, tanto los afectados como quien dijo llamarse Jorge “N” de 33 años de edad fueron trasladados junto con el arma de fuego asegurada ante el Agente del Ministerio Público del fuero común, quien determinaría la situación jurídica del detenido conforme a la investigación correspondiente.
