“So how was your day,” I asked Klintara and Mellony over supper.
“A lot of walking,” replied Klintara, “But I rather enjoyed it. What about you Mellony? Are you getting used to taking long walks?”
She laughed, “We never did this back in the city. I don’t think my legs will ever be the same. Still, it wasn’t really bad. I mean I’m tired and all, but well, you know, I mean this countryside doesn’t have a lot going on, does it? There aren’t any concerts and the television only brings in the one channel and how How can you live like that? There isn’t even a library with a computers where we can play video games, so it’s It’s really, like deprived, you know … but … anyway, it’s not all bad. I mean I’m missing all that stuff, but, you know, it’s sort of weird, but when you get outside, well, like, it’s almost as if the other stuff doesn’t mean as much. It’s pretty weird strange.”
