#the stuff my professor said while explaining why we have to add probabilities for X = 0 and X = 1 to find P(X is larger than -1 and less- #-than 1.5) #didnt understand shit but its obvious u need to add them up #why wouldnt u add them up? #also why is everyone going for computer science #cs is gonna become the new npc field #especially when no one in cs is getting a job because of the recession #another funny thing is that a level 3.5 course (discrete math) which is offered to min third year students under the department of math is- #-offered to CE students in the first sem of second year #what is this favouritism #its the same course. why us in second year? #u want us to die? #we're already ded inside cut some slack man #and if u dont take it in sem a of your second year you get left behind because its a prerequisite for quite a few courses #this is not what i thought life would become but welp #zuri rambles

Himachal Pradesh Technical University Admission 2019

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree with nine different specializations. Duration of all the B.Tech courses is four years. The college also accepts lateral entry (direct admission in the second year) in all the B.Tech courses for which the duration is 3 years.

The admission to the first 50% of the seats shall be made on the basis of merit/rank/score obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2019. Application for JEE can be made at the website

The remaining 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test- 2019 (HPCET-2019)

The admission to B.Tech 2nd year degree course under Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of diploma in appropriate branch organized by H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. Provided that if seats under lateral entry scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled up from the students who have passed diploma in appropriate branch of  Engineering and Technology from any other recognized University/Board

Relaxation of 5% will be given to the applicants belonging to SC & ST category

Online Exam Form of HPTU

The application form of HPCET 2019 was available from March 8 to April 28. The last date for receiving the scanned copy of the application form (PDF) at email id- [email protected] was May 1, 2019. It was advised that all students have to submit their valid information as per the documents possessed by them. The incomplete or invalid application form will be liable for rejection. The given steps can be followed by the students to fill and submit HPCET 2019 application form.

All Students have to apply online. The Information Brochure for HPCET-2019 can be downloaded from the University website 

The applicants are required to pay the Entrance Examination Fee through the following mode:- (i) Net banking /Credit card/Debit card (ii) e-Challan mode

Entrance Examination Fee (Non-refundable) for HPCET-2019 is Rs.1400/- for SC/ST/BPL and Rs.1550/- for others 

The Students can apply for two entrance tests i.e B.Tech & B.Pharma( Allo.) or B.Pharma (Allo.) & B.Pharma( Ayur.) simultaneously and have to pay a double processing fee
