Observations while having lost my smell and taste almost entirely from Covid:

- coffee will retain only a memory of bitterness

- liquorice is mildly sour and salty and while I cannot taste it I will remember that I don’t like it

- actually anything sweet is now mildly sour

- cannot taste the fresh ginger but the burn is warm and nice

- putting massive amounts of hot sauce into veggie soup will not make me taste it but will make me cry involuntarily and make my teeth feel funny (ah and did help me blow my nose) XD
