VERY tiring to know that people are still up in arms about Eternatus even several years later. I knew letting the public know I was it’s trainer was a mistake. Fuck me for trying to ease everyone’s fear about it’s whereabouts I guess
Seriously I didn’t spend months trying to earn its trust and train it just for a bunch of jackasses online, a lot of which who weren’t even IN GALAR during the Darkest Day, to act like they know more about it than me, IT’S OWN TRAINER.
“It’s dangerous” Bitch first of all I fought it head on and it almost killed me, you don’t think I know that?? Secondly I’m Zacian’s trainer too AND best friends with Zamazenta’s, you don’t think we could handle it if for some reason it DID lose control again? Also, if the legendary wolves who literally fought it in the ancient past can understand Eternatus wasn’t at fault, so can you.
UGH. I’m sorry, I know people aren’t afraid or concerned for no reason but STILL. It’s like they don’t even care that we found an ethical solution to handle Eternatus, or even care to learn about it, it feels like they won’t be satisfied until it’s dead.

Yeah, I get where it all comes from, Eternatus is a very recently discovered Pokémon after all, a very powerful one at that. But people are so quick to jump to conclusions about it, even after all the research Sonia’s published about our findings on it. It’s a living creature just like any other Pokémon on this earth! It was Rose’s fault to begin with, anyway. He’s the one who overpowered it with those Wishing Stars.
Maybe I should make a post about some of the data collected on Eternatus here on the blog, too? It’s opened up to people a bit more and become more docile over time after recovering from what Rose did to it.
