I know there’s much higher quality clips from the Sharpe series on youtube now, but back in 2017 this was the very first clip I had ever seen with Teresa, as there weren’t many in general. (Though this one cuts off the first part of the scene). I had only ever seen pictures at that point. I’m very fond of this video and this moment in Eagle and I remember being so surprised to hear her voice for the first time!!  I loved her accent and the way she spoke and the tenderness in the scene HOOKED me. So yeah have a little snippet of Sharpe’s Eagle <3

PEAK romance) #(sorry not sorry to the other sharpe ladies but theyll NEVER have what they had) #(anyways i know some of you havent seen it so: brief context) #(teresa earlier in the film came to see him the night before a big battle and reprimands him ) #(bc she hears a rumor about him wanting to capture an eagle- its basically a suicide mission. she thought he knew better) #(and while she is angry about that the eagle isnt the real issue but she wont voice it bc but sharpe wants to hear it- he asks if she'd care #( if he died. and she desperately blurts out yes!!!! and its SUCH a tender and charged scene and they soften) #(and he tells her that he'll take care not to) #(so this is them meeting after that- he survived and got what he wanted) #(but here again he's pushing her a bit to admit what she wants. to tell him; to be honest despite it being scary!1)
