I find it very interesting that Bhagat Singh was explicitly a communist and yet despite being very popular as a 'freedom fighter' that part of his politics is never discussed in school
i mean, nehru was a planned economy type social democrat and even that isn't really discussed in terms of its ideological dimensions in school tbf. gandhi was a horrible revanchist about agricultural economies. there's a story, and the story is everyone had the same vision for india, there were some hiccups (the muslims and the dalits, who wanted special treatment and some people who wanted freedom too fast through violence like bose and bhagat singh) but overall future india was imagined to look exactly what it looks like today!
I see you post and think in my mind "oh god what did they do now?" Then immediately go to your blog because I love you and you're writing @satancopilotsmytardis
i figure that my inbox, particularly the physical mail, has gotten a bit... backlogged. i really don't feel like answering all of these separately, especially after yesterday.
really, i don't feel like doing much of anything, but i can't keep wasting my days doing nothing.
genuinely fascinated by the "au version of me". am i... what is that? that lost basculin evolution? am i sinnohian in this universe, or do i just happen to be a fish person? was i born that way? is it even still 'me', if not human anymore?
the sandygast is cute. weighted with beans. a very comfortable weight, really... i'm gonna see if deckard sticks his nose through the mouth.
... how long has this poor thing been here. go. get out. eat a flower or something. spirits abound.
wh?
... right. based off the timestamp i assume this was for skorna?
i don't think i have the energy to try and answer this for her. she cares about what i can be for her, i think that's about it.
First felt confusion. Who is this person and why did they send me an ask.
Read ask, instantly felt fear. Why would anybody commit such an atrocity? What would prompt somebody to commit such an audacious act of evil, OUT OF ANON, no less!
Finally, realization struck. Of course, I reblogged for the evil ask. I had expected some sort of magic spell blast, or perhaps an ostentatious evil plot on taking over the world, whilst twirling your mustache and petting some sort of cat in your lap, but nothing could have prepared me for this. There's a level of evil, the basic world conquering, or perhaps the generic world catastrophe causing, but that's where most villains draw the line. Had they crossed the line, they would simply evaporate from the intense pressure caused by guilt. There are evil monologues, created to strike nothing but fear and revulsion in the minds of the audience, and then there's this. 5 words, more powerful than the words spoken by the gods, louder than the creation of the universe, and, in the end, more impactful than it as well. True and pure evil is a near impossibility, evil is subjective, different for every person, dependent on morals, and, in the grand scheme of things, there's no such thing as evil in nature. And then there's this thing. This abomination towards man, nature, and whichever deities live in the heavens and hells. I feel nothing but fear.
so a few months ago i was texting my bsf (who's not muslim), and we were talking about the outfits we wore that day, and after I finished explaining mine, she told me:
"hijabis are... so mystical. they have this hidden beauty to them that i can't explain"
