If Vanessa has a elemental shield when using her Elemental Burst, it deals additional AoE DMG of the corresponding element, her shield will be removed afterwards.

The small qilin was in the plains of liyue and started eating the flowers and grass for her lunch it was quiet and she liked places that were free from noise but as she is eating there was girl watching her she looked up and stayed still she was cautious of the girl.

The Knight of Favonius didn’t have much opportunities to travel outside Mondstadt, but today, she was fortunate this time. Even for a first few minutes, she could tell the nature and culture was definitely different compared to her usual region. 

While taking her time to admire the surroundings, Vanessa then coincidentally spotted a strange kind of creature, quite a small and adorable one she had to admit. Although knowing her presence, it seemed to be a bit wary and frightened. 

“Hey, I’m not going to hurt you...” Her voice soft as she knelt down, attempting to make herself less intimidating.

There was always a downside when checking a room at the inn during night, since all of them were usually taken. Though in this case, all but one. It should be a lucky break for them.

Although there was a problem; their room was for one person which obviously there was only one bed, and there wasn’t even a couch either.

“I assume you have no issue that you’re sharing a bed with someone else?” The knightess asked to her companion. 

Vanessa and Anita had come a long way ever since the two met, and as in now, they were getting along fine enough, nonetheless this scenario could be still a bit awkward.

From the city to Starsnatch Cliff, it was a long travel already just to procure some Cecilias that she'll need for the shop and a few that she'll keep in her own. While Samantha procured enough flowers she needed, going back became a struggle as a horde of hilichurls blocked the road and it was difficult for her to pass by. Summoned a spear on her hand, she was left no choice but to fight despite being outnumbered.

"Why are they even here?" she muttered before using her Vision to bind her foes with Dendro vines.

Hilichurl barricades tended to appear from time to time, but nowadays, they were more frequent than usual. The situation became more serious that a few Knights of Favonius, including herself, went on an expedition. The knightess was being assigned to check around the area of Starsnatch Cliff. 

As she should expect, a barricade could be spotted, but there was one thing she didn’t expect; someone, who wasn’t the Traveler nor a fellow Knight of Favonius, was engaging combat with the Hilichurls. 

Nevertheless this young woman shouldn’t fight alone, so without hesitation, her halberd in hand, Vanessa charged at one of the Mitachurls, fiercely swinging at them. 

This should draw some of Hilichurls’ attention towards her instead of the other.

The thought of asking had made her so anxious that she had begun to pick at her fingers, but finally asking only made the habit worse. "Hey, now that it's been a while. W—What made you wanna help me?" ( vanessa & anita )

It was a week or so after she helped Anita to rescue her father from the Treasure Hoarders. Despite many difficulties, they did have succeeded. To say the least, this event left Vanessa a completely different aspect from her.

It did feel a bit weird for the knightess that the two together were casually sitting by the river. She did miss tranquil moments like this. 

Upon receiving her question, Vanessa looked away for awhile before she would eventually spoke. She had this question before, but decided to disregard the first time. However when everything was in the past, she had the right to know.

“When I pinned you down, I got you exactly where I wanted to. I could’ve handed you over, and finally be done with it.” A pause. “But once you talked about your father, seeing your face so defeated, almost lost any will, it didn’t feel right to do so. For once, I wanted to believe you. In the end, I’m glad to know I have made the right choice.”

A plotted starter for @xamassed​ with Anita and Vanessa (Genshin verse)

It was quite a commotion to deal with, fortunately it died down a bit at the end of the day, so she could only hope it would eventually end. Fairly exhausted, she was heading back to Mondstadt. 

However upon arrival in the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, she spotted something peculiar, signs were faint but still noticeable with close examination. The pantry’s door was slightly open. Was someone inside?

With caution, Vanessa slowly opened the door and entered inside. The room was dark, an inconvenient factor that she didn’t exactly know where to illuminate its lights. Step by step, she went deeper, proceeding to check one side of the pantry.

“Oh, good day, sir Richtofen-Beaumont.” The knightess performed a bow as a greeting towards him. Upon being inquired about the current event in Inazuma, she tilted her head a bit in response. A question like this wasn’t honestly expected, furthermore she didn’t have much knowledge about the mentioned subject herself. 

“Indeed, there is, if I’m correct, Inazuma is currently holding a festival called the Irodori Festival. It is supposedly originated from the legend of the Five Kasen, a group of gifted singers and poetry writers from the ancient past. As in now, it becomes an international cultural convention. And yes, Captain Albedo and the Honorary Knight were invited, and I also have heard Klee was taken along for this occasion.”
