Hilarious how the entire time Melanie was tangled up in actual supernatural shenanigans, she never presented any plans or ideas based on her ghost hunting career, that those experiences were never once applicable. Zero relevant anadotes, no worthwhile tools, fuck all transferable skills. "But she did all that research on the war ghost" yeah but she also walked right past a shape shifter, a 200yo body snatcher, and a fledgling mind reader to get to the research library and when presented with hints she simply shrugged and shouted gaslighting.

I've been re-listening to some early tma and noticed some interesting lines from episode 2 with everybody's fave Joshua Gillespie.

everyone loves him because he just decided he was going to live with the coffin. improvise adapt overcome. wake up finding you're opening the spooky lock? freeze the key. he got so used to the big ole moaning coffin chilling in the living room that it didn't even freak him out anymore
