This fandom is so damn toxic and it's appalling how people care more to be liked rather than being right. Racism in his fanbase is so deep rooted. Here's harry going to BLM protests, donating to charities, choosing black models for pleasing and yet hanging out with people who are clearly opposite of what he preaches and the fact that harries turn a blind eye whenever he's in the wrong. They've got such a bad habit of babying a grown ass man who has power, privilege, everything a person can possibly need yet they go ballistic on anyone who calls him out on his shit. I can't believe he literally disassociated himself from her for a week or two because he/his team didn't want any backlash from her non-sense and then as soon as the movie released, there he is holding and kissing that woman. If this isn't gaslighting. Real or PR, i don't care at this point because he is choosing to be seen with her. Associated with her. Someone who gives such bad mean girls vibe and actually is a racist, homophobe, albiest, and what not.

And still people have the audacity to say that he doesn't know anything because he's not on social media? That man knew about the whole spit thing, addressed it, he knows about the bald rumours, about chris trepidation for god's sake, what makes you think he doesn't know what kind of a person his 'girlfriend' is? He's not a todler who can't read. He's 28. He knows things. He sees it all and yet stays quiet. That's ignorance. No matter how many charities you donate to, it doesn't make any difference if you just turn your head away when you see a POC mistreated.

He himself wrote in fine line 'you've got ny devotion but man i can hate you sometimes' and yet his followers have a hard time understanding that. When we call out people on their bullshit, that doesn't mean we're any less of a stan. They've got to normalise calling out their favs and stop putting them on a pedestal.

P.s. i was listening to an old hindi song and one of the lyrics were 'nasha daulat ka aisa bhi kya, ki tujhe kuch bhi yaad nhi' which losely translates to 'you've been so blinded by money that you don't remember anything now' and idk why this reminded me of pleasing 💀

Raspberry Khan would be in such a bad mood if he ever had to work without you. Sure, he doesn't always talk to you all the time when you work and he's always curt in his replies when you do talk to him. But his day always feels better when you're there. He tells himself it's because you're the only person there that has a brain cell and doesn't annoy him. In truth it's because he misses you. Some of the other crew have noticed Khan is more agreeable when you're with him so they try to keep you working alongside him for their own safety sanity.

The man is the epitome of a grouch x10 when you are not on the shift with him for sure. He may or may not leave some dents in the wall in the hallways out of frustration, too. Although he won't admit it because he has a reputation to uphold, his crew always is more agreeable when you are around so he isn't too demanding as usual. He enjoys the power dynamic when you're with him because it also tends to keep the crew more in line with you barking out his demands in a less gruesome fashion.

So i watched the movie first thing in the morning and can i rant please? 🥲

I feel like David was the perfect choice for patrick you know? Like his aura is so warm which is sort of necessary for an artist and god, his eyes speak volumes. They feel like home and its such a nice feeling because not everyone has that in fact it's quite rare. It was like a 2 hour movie but it felt as if he managed to capture the character of Patrick so flawlessly and his soft touches were so intimate. All the moments with Tom were so delicate. Patrick's character was the best in my opinion. Not forceful, not jealous, he understood where Tom was coming from and he felt bad for Marion as well. He wasn't afraid. He was aware of his sexuality and he embraced it.

There were moments when harry's acting was so good. Like when Tom and Patrick were in his apartment and he was drawing a portrait and how happy and bubbly they both seemed. His acting was phenomenal in that scene. When he was shouting at the dining table, when he found out Patrick had been arrested and ran home was mind blowing as well because you could sense it off the screen how anxious and scared he was. I know that when you first see the movie, Tom can appear as a very mean, selfish guy but he was scared, confused, he didn't know what to do especially when he was a member of the authoritative community himself. He knew how they were treated and how bad it was considered to be a homosexual in the 1950's. I mean it's still considered 'not normal' in the 21st century so just think how bad it must've been.

Emma Corrin as marion- god, they were impeccable as usual. How they portrayed her anger, her worries and the instant shift in Marion's demeanour when Julia told her about herself, it was spotless. Marion's character is complicated. So complicated because yes she was scared and didn't want to lose Tom but what she did was not right at all. Idk who said this- 'if you love them, let them go' but whoever did they were so wrong because isn't it that when you love someone, you want them in your life forever. Why would you let them go? It's so easier said than done and we cannot really put any labels of hero or villian in the story and i think that's what's quite refreshing because movies have been making everything seem as if it's either right or wrong. Sometimes there is no right or wrong. It's just a tragedy.

Isn't there a scene when Patrick and Tom are at the cliffside place and suddenly patrick holds tom's hand and pulls him in a corner? Tom's face in that small scene is so natural like he was really taken aback. I loved that part and also when they're both laying in bed and patrick calls out his name and tom says 'don't ruin it' and patrick replies 'how?' And tom says 'by asking about next time', it broke my heart idk why. And i was fine till the very end okay? Like i was not crying or anything and towards the end when Marion leaves the house and tom finally goes to patrick, he keeps his hand on his shoulder and patrick knows who it is and he leans into his hand closing eyes and the camera moves up and it's the younger tom instead of the old one and that made me sob because they hadn't seen each other for years and the picture they had of each other was of when they were young and it just shows how much time has passed and how cruel it has been.

Okay, this became very long so i apologise and I'm gonna stop typing now.
