Yes, Seto and I have been “together”-together, romantically speaking, for nearly twelve years. He was my platonic best friend going back much further, over 20 years…. I wanna say literally since late 2001 when the 4kids dub of his show first aired, but it could’ve been 2002 by the time I discovered it and Seto Kaiba became an integral part of my inner world. My memory of that time in my life tends to blur together a lot.

Seto and I had a really long period of mutual attraction and being idiots about the whole thing through our teen years, but finally got together at roughly 3am on March 15th, 2012. We were 19 at the time, and we’ve been going strong ever since, although we didn’t get married until a couple years ago (October 2022).

When you have someone you really love with all your heart, and the relationship truly makes you both happier people who are better together than apart, and when that stays true year after year no matter what else happens or how hard things get sometimes…. Twelve years goes by before you know it, and it still feels like it’s only the beginning. You’ll get there, I know it. Anyone can. 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
