          the  night  air  changed  fast  with  the  colder  seasons  on  their  way  and  cindy's  starting  to  feel  the  transition.  a  chill  creeps  along  her  skin  and  spreads,  making  her  wish  she  chose  something  else  besides  the  slightly  off-the-shoulder  top  she’s  wearing.  the  wind  swirls  through  golden  hair  and  she’s  wishing  summer  could  last  just  a  little  longer,  especially  sensitive  to  the  temperature  drop.  she’s  still  having  a  good  time  like  she  always  does  whenever  she’s  with  billy,  trying  not  to  think  about  how  cold  she  is  but  he  must  be  able  to  tell  anyway  when  he  drapes  his  jacket  over  her  shoulders.  it’s  warm  from  him  just  wearing  it  and  she  pulls  it  tighter  around  her,  fixing  blonde  hair  so  it  cascades  over  the  material  and  giving  billy  this  sweet  little  smile.  he  really  does  pay  attention  to  her,  she  realizes.  “thanks.”  she  might  be  playing  it  cool  but  really,  she’s  melting  inside. “does  it  look  good  on  me  ?”
