jungwon loves setting alarms, but he never wakes up to them, it's almost like he's immune to hearing them; you would be the one waking him up everyday, reaching over his body to where his nightstand is, and clicking on snooze

he would pull you back down, mumbling that you're moving too much and putting his leg over yours, almost to say that you're his territory

everytime you try to explain and tell him to get up, he would sloppily cover your mouth with his entire hand, shushing you

Weeping at your feet, he clutches onto you, clinging to your legs with his cheek resting on your knee.

Leon was crying. Crying on the floor between your knees, too drunk to get up but coherent enough to look up at you behind bleary eyes.

He hated crying. He hated the stinging feeling in his nose, the way his lower lip trembled whenever he felt warm tears run down the lines of his eyes.

He knew that because of his job, he was expendable. In the eyes of the government, he was just some guy they kept around whenever they needed him. The government's favorite bitch.

At this point, Leon didn't want to be remembered. Not by Redfield, not by Rebecca, not by Hunnigan. Poor Hunnigan, been by his side ever since his mission back in Spain, he didn't think he'd survive that.

Sending just him on that assignment felt like a suicide mission to him. He didn't think he'd survive long enough to make it back to the States to restart the cycle all over again.

And yet he did. He survived long enough to meet you.

You run your fingers through his hair, gentle fingertips scratching slightly against his scalp. If Leon was a sick dog, you were the heater he clung to whenever he needed to lick at his wounds.

He leans his head into your touch, eyes closing as he sighs tiredly. More tears fall down the folds of his eyes. He didn't know how long he could do this. At least he had you.

“Promise me something, Leon.” You say softly, gently pointing him up to your face. His blues droop as he looks up at you, you smile down warmly at him. Radiating as always, his sweet thing.

“What is it, hon?” He replies back in the same soft tone, leaning forward.

“Promise me you'll always come back home. I just..” You look down at your lap as you speak. Were you crying, too? Probably. You shouldn't be crying over him, Leon thought. But you did anyway.

“I just need to know you're alright. That you're okay. Even if you aren't. You know how much I love you, right?” Leon nods his head, resting it back on your knee again. He didn't want to speak, and didn't want to ruin the moment as he looked up at you.

“As long as we have each other, we'll be okay.” You say, cupping the sides of his face. You lean in to kiss his forehead gently. Pulling away you look at his face, your eyes soften. You brush his bangs out of his face again. “We'll be okay.”

“...huh.” Leon slowly nods his head as he stares at the small collection of figurines in front of him. Tuxedo Sam, Keropi, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamonroll, Marroncream. You say their names like you knew them from the heart, and you did.

And there was, of course, the star of the show, Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty was the only one he knew, Sherry told him about her before. Compared to the rest

“You really planned this out..” He can feel the corners of his mouth tugging into a soft smile as he looks at the small, almost thumb sized collectibles in front of him. Seeing how excited you were, as you explained, each character was cute. The little glint of excitement in your eyes made Leon smile even more.

Who knew something as small as a thimble would cost so much? Leon did. He couldn't say no to the way you clung to his arm at the register when you said you forgot your wallet at home. His wallet was still weeping from how much those little things cost. You didn't even buy the entire collection.

Thank God you didn't, Leon didn't know if he'd be able to financially recover if you bought the entire series of these pint-sized plastic toys. He's still trying to remember the name of the black hooded bunny looking thing next to the pink hooded bunny looking thing.

Leon probably was overanalyzing it. As soon as you shove a yellow dog in his face, he snapped out of his own head.

“This one reminds me of you!” You exclaim, smiling even more as you show him a small yellow dog figurine. Leon's cheeks were probably going to hurt after smiling so hard, but he does it anyway. How could he not smile? Hearing you ramble on and on with him just nodding along and listening was sweetly teeth rotting to him. You were so cute he'd probably buy you more of those little things if you asked nicely. “Aww really? That's cute.” He comments, tilting his head as he looks at the figurine in your hand.

“Mhm I know, right? His name's Pompompurin, and he's a golden retriever puppy! He's five puddings tall!” he chuckles hearing you mention Pompompurin's height. Five puddings tall? How cute.

Your hands run up the lines of his leather jacket. He presses you up against the wall, kissing up your neck hungrily. The heavy sounds of guitar riffs and guttural vocals are almost drowned out by the murmurs your boyfriend was making into your ear.

You try focusing your attention on the passerby. Not a single one of them was paying attention to what the two of you were doing.

“Don't pay attention to them, babe. Pay attention to me.” He places two of his fingers on your cheek, gently pointing your face forward and facing him.

Before you can say anything, he's pressing his lips against yours. You feel the stubble on his face, tickling your own as your hands thumb the apples of his cheeks.

The kiss felt feverish, heated like he needed this. Which wasn't too far off from what Leon was thinking. You, you, you. His sweet thing. You were his. Leon hasn't felt this in love since he was a rookie. What was it called again? Puppy love? Leon was no puppy, that’s for sure.

It felt cheesy to him to say you made him feel young again, but he wasn't going to say that out loud. Not like you could hear him that well anyway, the chords and riffs of guitars drowned out most of the words he was saying.

Leon pulls away from your lips to breathe. He stares at your features, and the lights above your head framed your face perfectly. A couple of spotlights on his sweet thing. Pretty like a picture, Leon thought. You had a dumb look on your face, a love-struck smile. A dumbly big smile made you look even prettier.
