The loss of her beloved consumed her with loneliness. The pain of his absence still lingers in her heart even though he has been gone for a few months now. In her loneliness, she feels as if something has been taken away from her. She can't seem to find solace in anyone else's company. There is an empty feeling in her life without him. It is as if she has been left behind, and her life is empty without him. That void remains unfilled and she continues to seek a solution. So, she visits his grave again, crying and letting out all her sorrows. She talks to him as if he is still there, and tells him how much she misses him and how lost she feels without him. She lingers for hours, hoping that her presence will bring him back to her, but of course, it never does.

Armin worries about her when he sees her visiting his grave. He knows she is in pain and struggling to move on without him. He wants to help but doesn't know how to. So, he sends Sasha, Levi and Connie to make sure she is okay. He wants them to be there for her if she needs someone to talk to, and he expects them to help her heal. All of them have been ignored by Mikasa. Her grief has consumed her, making her unaware of her friends' kindness. It has been difficult for her to move on from Eren's death despite their efforts.

Is this her punishment from God? For all the sins she committed? It was a mystery to her. But if this meant she might get to see him again, she would continue. Mikasa stood at Eren's grave, tears streaming down her face as she tried to make sense of what was happening. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear Jean approaching until he was right behind her. When she turned around, Jean was standing there, looking at her with an expression of gentle understanding.

"WE killed him to save our HOME, but it's so LONELY without him." The tears soaked her eyes as she sat there crying for hours. Her best friend. Lover. Family. Was gone. "I don't think i could live without him Jean." It was surprising to be so direct with Jean since they had never really been close, but at this moment she needed him more than anything else. As she was, she needed him above all else.
