I’m a bit confused like in general why people think toji is so old? It’s been confirmed in canon he was in the range of 28-30 when he died (most Japan fans on forms go with 30) which is still young. Toji looks young and is only 30 in canon so why do people always age him up? Is it a kink thing? I’m just confused by it-

i mean it’s pretty simple. one: canon ≠ fanfiction. writers tailor things to fit the plot and it wouldn’t make sense to write dbf!toji or dilf!toji who is 30 years old w a college-age son. also if the fic’s plot is set in jjk’s universe where toji lives or whatever then unless the fic is set in 2006 it also wouldn’t make sense bc if he’s 30 when he fought gojo and lived, 2006 was 17 years ago. most ppl write in modern day so fic writers putting toji in his mid to late 40s is accurate.
