While being holed up in what was left of his base of operations, this was a last resort. Zombies were the last to expect in this endeavor, yet an amazing scientific discovery with how humans could rise from the dead and walk with ease. For personal reasons, of course, but not for human extinction. Arms rested across her chest, brows furrowed in thought.

"Of course, we're held up in your own little operating room without the proper equipment for this," she sighed. "But to no avail. We can find a solution this way. I'm not sure how sneaking into my own laboratory to access the kind of equipment for zombie invasions."

She glanced over to Zed, semi-acknowledging his attempt to advance, which she found cute. "For your questions, I have a couple of ideas. Firstly, is there anything in particular your brother uses for... manifesting these zombified remains from the ground back to life that we may use against him? Because as enticing as it is to learn about zombies, using them for an invasion is quite an inconvenience."

It was almost immediate with how he reacted, pouting for a second with his head turned. He felt on the spot and he swore his skin was burning! Even behind his mask, it had something on him that he didn't understand! Even with understanding what "love" was, he still didn't get it; why did it make him feel so strange? With the burning in his skin and the fluttering in his gut?

He grumbled to himself, embarrassed to say the least. Even with the little voice in his head telling him this was normal, he was stubborn about it. "THE FEELING! It burns me! Knives twisting in my gut like an unkempt fork! It's a weird kind of hurt!"

That familiar touch met with his hand, turning his head back with a surprised look in his eyes. Did he understand that right? At least, from what he heard, it made sense to him. For the first time, his voice softened, but growly and unsure.

To his dismay, the reaction was tugged in confusion and unsure, which he could understand. Bandits were quite commonly labeled thugs in his eyes in many, many planets; Pandora was one that was full of them to make up for the chaos in the world. However, with coming to some kind of acquaintance with Krieg, he was... different, to a sense. Even the other Vault Hunters could say so, and he had some sense of morale and right to wrong with how he fought their enemies. To that, he found wonderful!

"He truly is a wondrous asset, I assure you!" He spoke to Wainwright. "Just his strength is quite high! And his skills in battle are more than that! And I understand he will be on his best behavior with us, is that right, Krieg?"

The Psycho's eye seemed to glance over at Hammerlock, processing and glancing over to Jakobs. Would he say something? The little voice seemed to acknowledge this, muttering, "...I'd give them some nod so they know you're listening."

In turn, Krieg gave a slow nod, making eye contact with Jakobs, "...I WILL NOT TOUCH YOUR FEEL GOOD JUICE," he said.

Oh, he missed this. A casual prodding joke all in the heart of playing around was something he had missed doing. It was definitely a separation from the constant screaming about meat and various fluids. For once, he could be sane for long enough; up to a day at the minimum now. He could mess around for a little bit from time to time, anyway.

Though, if there was one thing he could admit, seeing Gaige this way almost brought out a stifle of laughter from the old hunter.

     Racing across the rocky deserts of Pandora was a young girl and her mech, speeding on a Light Runner to a nearby town. She had a wanted poster in her hands, having the death mark of some big named psycho out in the valley of Three Horns. His name had lots of cash under it, and she needed that money. Badly.

     “MOVE OUTTA THE WAY!” She screamed, running over skags and roaming psychos as she got to the location. Hopping out of the runner, she approached a large cave off on the side of town, seeing more and more psychos guarding the entrance.

Oh, yeah. No, this was the feeling of embarrassment sitting in the pit of her stomach. Already, she felt some guilt sitting in her chest upon saying that to him, and here she thought he was being serious the entire time. This was definitely the "fire in my belly" that Krieg would snarl about, but in a different context.

Yasmin fucking hated this feeling so much, and she only was feeling it for a few moments.

Words couldn't describe the excitement of just... hearing him. For all that time of hearing that little voice in his mind, she had wondered if he could even speak up himself. With the knowledge they had of Psychos, and Lilith's hesitance, she was sure he'd make some kind of break-through to talk to her, and he did.

"...I'm proud of you, big guy," she smiled, holding his hand with hers as he caressed his cheek. "Really, I'm... glad. I'm sorry I made you wait this whole time to come find me, y'know?"

A statement that was more of a notice. It was quite the opposite, actually. Blood had an equivalent to the purpose of water for himself with seeing so much, but to see it splattered across the table and floor was a painting in itself. Modern art, if you will.

For Zed's antics, this was more of a talkative sense, but what was with the goofy looking mustache? His head tilted curiously upon noticing this, brow raising in the eye socket of his mask. The smile behind his mask faded, now twisted with curiosity. On cue, even the sane voice in his head seemed to pose a similar question...

"...what's with the mustache, Zed?"

The reaction almost made him laugh at first. He hadn't really spoken to many of the original Vault Hunters, or any of the Crimson Raiders aside from Maya with this practice on retaining his sanity. Each day, he was managing to stick around longer and longer where he had control over the psycho side that enjoyed the bloodshed.

Though, through his voice, he was smiling behind his mask. He still had a way to surprise people, it seems. "First time?" He asked. "It's... some practice I've been doing. Nothing much, but... you'll hopefully hear less of the other guy from time to time."

Not as a bad thing, but there needed some kind of balance between bloodlust and solitude, "...I can at least show that I can do some of this," he said, gesturing to himself. "Actually... trying to speak. For the most part."

     Eyes widened with surprise, freezing in place. Oh... he caught her red-handed. Quite literally, having work gloves to handle his gun with both hands. To Gaige’s own curiosity, it had her tongue to where she had to try it out. And before she could even mess with it, he walked in on her. How was she going to explain this one?

She wasn’t expecting a flash bomb to be thrown right before her eyes. Instinctively, she relaxed her hands and covered her eyes. Big mistake.

Tempest froze in place, seeing the bow drawn and aimed for her head. She couldn’t move at all; any sudden movement would get her killed on the spot. Her arm was still in control of the light static among the floor underneath her, but couldn’t do anything to knock the bow out of her hand. Hopefully, her sister heard the explosion from upstairs...

The other fist was clenched, keeping a hard stare on the thief.

“...the name’s Tempest,” she answered. “And, man oh man, Nisha... you ain’t the smartest bulb of the bunch if y’think that robbin’ m’home will do ya a good deed. I still got some sparks... which’ll be enough to paralyze. Don’ make me test it on ya.”
