A dumb drabble as told by Crow.
Skyler found a nice shaded spot on the sidewalk in the heart of downtown Boston. He set his black guitar case down and opened it up to see his beige acoustic guitar. A smile crept on his face as he studied it. He's had this baby for as long as he could remember. Sure it was older and should more than likely be replaced. But why? This old girl still had some life left in her. Skyler picked it and slung the strap over his shoulder, he left the case open so people could leave the tips he so desperately needed.
He picked up one of the many picks he had and strummed it a little, waking her up from her slumber. Skyler started to play a little melody before he got this started. By this time he noticed someone already tossed a dollar into that case. That was a start; most people here hardly ever bothered with street performers. Most likely because they were a dime a dozen and had a bad reputation and so why would hard working people give them their money? Other performers only had money on the brain while Skyler was different. He didn't care about the money he makes, he cares more about the music. With that thought Skyler started to actually play, he played classics (that people were most familiar with) and he played a few original songs.
At the end of the day, he managed to make close to ninety bucks. Which wasn't too bad considering this WAS downtown Boston during lunch hour. Skyler put the money in his pocket and started to pack up. A big smile on his face as he did, also remembering some of the few comments he received during his performance.
