Update

Hey sugar plums~ Wanted to do a mini update post because it’s been on my mind the last few weeks that I feel I’ve gotten real quiet here and because I’ve kinda had it confirmed by 3 friends so... I just want to put it out there that nothing serious has happened! It’s literally just me being back on my bullshit and my hyperfixated ass having been literally consumed by Death Stranding. Consumed to the point that I’ve actually made an OC for the fandom that I do intend to rp once I have a blog up for him. Technically speaking I’ve made a whole ass family of ocs + a couple npc’s but only my main man will be getting a blog, probably.

I honestly thought that it’d be a normal thing ya’ll.I thought they’d go away in a week or so. I’ve got ADHD that I manage with medication, hyperfixation is just part of that package for me, as is gaining muse for every new fandom that I enter. What isn’t normal is that they stick around long enough for me to give them a legitimate history and personality :x thus far this new guy has.I’ve already been talking about him to a few good friends from the fandom and made an au dbh verse with @lifeoverall that’s kinda taken on a life of it’s own. It’s pretty serious guys, and I’m honestly excited, and I’m having a lot of fun working on him!

All that being said Kenzi and my threads here are not being abandoned or anything like that. I need to revamp my rules here, clean them up, clean up my draft pile, and following list to make things here a bit more manageable but no huge changes are being made here. As far as my regular amount of activity and posting goes though The new muse is why I’ve been so quiet. Once I have them on their own blog and the focus my mind has on them right now has eased a bit I’ll be back on here more regularly. So for anyone that’s wondered and for those who have asked, I am still here, I still adore each of you. Seriously ya’ll are aces, thank you so much for your patience. And I’m honestly sorry for those who were actually worried and wondering where I’d gone. I hope all this helps and I hope ya’ll are having a marvelous day/night 🤍

#‟ i am but a sensitive pillar of salt ” || ooc #so consider me on a semi hiatus?? sort of???#I’m not gonna be acting or doing much of anything that I haven’t already been but I will probably be a bit quieter than normal for a bit #at least till I’ve had a chance to talk to some friends for perspective and think some things out and make some decisions #that will ultimately effect Joel how I write him and probably the future of this blog #i do wanna say some of this is stuff I’ve been thinking about since Joel’s conception 2 years ago #but some of it has been influenced by stuff I’ve been witness to recently and the behavior of others both good and bad #to that end I’m not upset at anyone no one who follows me here or who I talk to regularly should feel worried they’ve done something wrong #i promise you YOU HAVENT. really no one has done anything WRONG exactly it’s more like I’ve realized i maybe don’t vibe as well with #certain things and behaviors or tolerate them as well as I used to think I did/could #also I might just be getting old and grouchy and therefore way more selective with who I have patience for and want to interact with #anyways—— I’ll definitely make a proper post later to explain things a bit better once I’ve talked to people and had time to consider some #stuff and make those decisions I was speaking about. regardless though I wanted to give a heads up and say that some changes are on the way #mostly minor in the grand scheme of things but still significant in others 💚#also *blows kisses and gives you all garlic bread* I hope every single one of you is having a fantastic timezone #i love you all and your patience with my nonsense means the world to me 🥺🥰💚

#‟ i am but a sensitive pillar of salt ” || ooc #;—-; so I had plans to start moving Joel to his new blog (yes that’s the decision I’ve made and a thing that’s happening)#but instead my coworker who just got back from vacation last week has left again due to her eldest daughter needing emergency surgery #I’m not mad about that it is what it is and that’s life but #i did just find out aside from doing 4 day shifts till she gets back (not sure when) the coverage we have can only do #shifts with the girlie I work with after 3pm mon & tues since she has another shift both those days from 7-3 #so I’ll be working 4 24h shifts and then 8 hour shifts on 2 of the days I’m meant to have off 🥲#luckily I’ll have some time off once coworker returns but #if I’m quieter than normal it’s cause I am recovering ; ; and a shell of a human being #on the bright side it’s gorgeous today and I’ll be making more than enough to cover my time off even if I didn’t have pto #love you all 💕 hope you’re having a good timezone sugar plums 💚💚💚
