#depending on which translation you get it may or may not be more or less difficult to get used to #but i think what i've figured out is #“ova" is an unmarried woman using her father's last name #“a” is a married woman using her husband's last name #so. enjoy russian last names #but it's a fantastic book and i really hope if and when you get to it that you really enjoy it!!! #thanks for the ask! #summer tbr #anna karenina
