You quickly popped up from your position on the couch at the sound of Neteyam's voice, hastily opening the door.

"I missed you so much!"

Laughing, Neteyam walked into your dorm, placing the bag of sweets and your drink on the counter, opening his arms as an invitation for a hug. "I missed you too, weirdo."

"I was talking to the coffee," You teased, making your way over to the table when he punched your side gently, causing you to laugh. "You're pretty alright too, I guess." You feigned, finally accepting his hug.

"You guess? I buy you an amazing lunch and coffee, and this is how I'm repaid?"

"You get my presence, isn't that enough?"

"I suppose," he smiled your way, reaching into the bag and taking a handful of fries. "So, you're dating Ao'nung?"

"We went on one date," you corrected him, hoping he didn't notice the way your face went hot at the sudden question. "But yeah we're— whatever we are."

"You should be careful with him."

His words make you pause, looking up at him questioningly. "Sorry?"

"Be careful with him. I heard some things about him."

"Like?"

"Like dumb stuff. That's he's not really that into you and he's kind of a douche."

"Well, he's not." You stubbornly argued, shocked at the accusation of being used. Maybe you hadn't known him for the longest time, but Ao'nung wasn't the type of guy to pull something like that.

"Oh cmon, he's on baseball! He's a dude you haven't even known for over a month. He could be like that for all you know."

"Why the hell are you so adamant about this? He's not! And who even put that idea in your head?"

"I'm just telling you to be careful. And Violet— who by the way— is his ex, told me."

"Oh yes, that skimpy blonde you left me out in the rain for! And because exes are such a reliable source. How do you know she's not lying?"

"How do you know that she's not?"

"Why do you care so much?"

"I'm just trying to protect you!"

"I don't need protecting!" You snapped, hands falling to your side dramatically. "I can make my own decisions. And do you seriously believe Violet? You've known her for like what— a week?"

"Yeah, I do." He stated, jaw clenched. You scoffed at his behavior, and pushed the bag of food away from yourself.

"I really don't feel like fighting with you right now, so just take your food and leave, okay? Before either of us says something we regret." You left without another word into your room, not bothering to watch Neteyam leave your dorm.

I hit 2,000 followers while I was asleep and I cannot thank you guys enough!! 🥹 Ik i’m not famous or anything and others may have a lot more than I do, but i’m super grateful because I’ve never felt more appreciated on a platform like I do here.

I genuinely thought I was gonna come on this app and write one or two fics for this fandom and leave it at that. I’d never even thought about downloading tumblr and making a blog until the second movie came out, and until I saw how many others had as well! I’ve been an avatar fan since 2009 and I’ve always loved writing, but I didn’t know how much the community and fandom would draw me in (also didn’t know how big it was!) especially once i found out that others love avatar just as much as i do!

Thank you guys for making this blog my #1 favorite pastime. I knew I was in deep when I started choosing to get on this app and read fanfiction instead of watch Netflix lol.

okay ik this is a blog for like my fics and avatar obsession but i feel like i need to tell someone, and the fact that none of you guys know me personally helps a LOT bc it’s really big for me and i don’t wanna tell anyone i know bc it’s like… embarrassing?? 😭 i know it shouldn’t be, but it is.

so i just found out that i have tourettic ocd, which is super big for me bc i’ve had vocal tics since i was 9 and instead of taking me to the doctor, my parents swore i was faking and just yelled at me for making “annoying sounds”. my tics are super hard to deal with, physically tasking, sometimes painful! and drive me insane. i knew it wasn’t involuntary like tourettes but instead more compulsive like ocd, bc i can stop it, i just feel like i have to do it and then i do it over and over again until it feels “right”. Ocd kinda fit?? but i always knew that wasn’t all the way right.

I even thought i was faking because tourettes nor ocd didn’t necessarily align with my behaviors but tourettic ocd hits it RIGHT on the nail. It’s a subcategory of ocd that’s barely talked about! Finally knowing wtf i’ve been going through since a child after everyone, and eventually me convinced myself i was faking it is SOOOO VALIDATING. (it still sucks but at least ik now). but yea that’s it, it’s always been easier for me to talk to strangers rather than those close to me so i’m really really glad i have y’all <3

i was originally going to leave it as a oneshot, but after popular demand i finally wrote a part 2 to Twin Flames (ao’nung x reader) however I’m not sure it’s what y’all expected. Men who cheat suffer in my book, so it’s a bit of a melancholy ending but boyyy is it good 😗

I had it scrapped for like two weeks cause my brain wasn’t braining, then I came back to it with a completely different idea and just word vomited on my phone and rolled w it loll

i still have to edit it some then it’s done, but im kinda nervous/hesitant to post it because i don’t want the ppl who really wanted a part 2 to be disappointed with how the story went. aghhh 😭

i’m doing alright, thank you for asking! im using this ask to share a little bit ab me as others have asked questions similar :)

I am West African and Native. I’m currently in my home country right now in west africa. The entire country is basically all just forest and endless vegetation, huge trees, lots of fruit trees and palm trees too. just green EVERYWHERE. It reminds me so much of Pandora lol, i have many pictures and videos i would like to share but wifi is spotty here so i haven’t been able to post them!

I’m currently at my grandparent’s house in my village, and the house is right in the middle of the forest. There’s so much land to run around on it’s very freeing, big trees everywhere and ponds with loads of fish. lots of lizards. At night you’ll hear the birds and frogs and creatures chirping, it’s very calming. The food is so. good. i love it here bc it’s literally endless nature but good lord is it HOT

I belong to two different tribes/clans because of my parents, but I am from one village. My grandpa is King of our village making my sisters and I princesses. (this is probably the only interesting thing ab me LOL.) In the US I also like to spend lots of time in nature but it’s like a different world when I’m home. This is the same land of my ancestors and so on, so i feel much more connected here. If I were na’vi i’m almost certain I’d be a forest na’vi. 😭 That’s just a little bit about me! 🫶🏽
