how do you best like to be loved?

stay with me while the storm is strong

we all need someone sometimes, and you often don't feel like you are worth someone remaining. you are, though. i know that you crave for someone to be there and rest their hand against your back during the bad times. for a loving voice to lull you to sleep with a cadence of compassion and a desire to remain. you just want someone to remain. through and past the bad parts when you know it is difficult. you want to fall asleep to their voice and wake up to them still there in the morning. you want them to know the way that you take your tea and keep a box of your favorite flavor in their pantry in case you have a bad night and need to come over. you want to trust someone enough to give them a key to your house. and you deserve it, love. you deserve for someone to linger. you deserve to place your trust in another and know that they'll help you brush your hair if you're just too tired. you deserve for someone to remain.

i am not ready for my life to be over, i just started

time haunts you, chasing you down into dark alleyways, stalking you as you walk to classes, eat lunch with your friends. it lurks in the corners at parties, reminding you of the clock that began when you were born and has been ticking down ever since. did you live fully? did you do all that you wished to do? were you too scared to truly live, afraid that it would be taken once it began? you are not ready to die, but you have been preparing yourself since you learned what time was. are you scared of time? or are you scared that no matter how hard you try, no matter how long you work, you still won't be who you want to be.

Honestly, I’m a big sucker for most tropes. I love anything and everything cheesy really. I’m very easily entertained. As long as it’s written well and is interesting I don’t find it boring. BUT I am entirely over seemingly strong (normally female) characters who end up falling apart and losing their path without their man.

ten / ( story behind url ): I love the song Starlight by Muse. I was going through a big phase of listening to it on repeat when I was making this blog. And I figured Starlight Pilot sounded cute.

eleven / ( inspiration for muse ): I really started thinking about Ave around the time after Rouge One. I loved that there were these viable, strong characters that didn’t need to be force sensitive to be important. I wanted to play a character who was stubborn, tough, and unapologetically herself. I wasn’t going to play a damsel in distress but ignore how often Ave needs her ass saved thanks.

at the moment you want

to run away

your heart at the moment desires to run. it's haunting, chasing you, booming louder. sometimes it's distant enough that you can handle ignoring it, but now, it's so loud. maybe you've tried to face it before, even fight it. you may have failed, or possibly succeeded, but you spared its life, and now it has returned. maybe you never fought it, and simply kept running. and now more than ever, this feels like your last resort. your mind is telling you that you need to run, to run, to run, faster and faster, to lose sight of this. to shake it, because you couldn't shake it before. but is that the right solution? will it really solve anything?
