हवा में लहराती, दुनिया रौशन करने की ख़ुशी से नाचती सुनहरी, लाल नारंगी लौ क्या जाने, बाती के जलने का दर्द। जलती बाती क्या जाने गर्म-तपते तेल की जलन? ना लौ, ना बाती, ना तेल जाने दीये के एक रात की कहानी। जल-तप दूसरों को रौशन करती, अपने तले हीं अंधकार में डूबा छोड़। पता नहीं किसका दर्द बड़ा ? पर सब जल-तप करते रहते हैं रौशन राहें।
