Serres needs to get translated in English for people to see. It's too good

#maybe its not something 'big' #but im used to getting nothing from greek television and this? this is a masterpiece #also... i think ive seen a lot of people asking for shows like this. And Kapoutzidis did it #Odysseus is the main character who's gay. But the plot doesn't mainly focus on the fact that hes gay. He just happens to be #the plot focuses on his relationship with his dad #sure there are a bunch of jokes and one of the main reasons they probably stopped talking was because he turned out a 'homosexual' #but breaking into your auntie's house with your dad cause she stole your dead mom's recipe book sounds personal #they ended up hiding *in the closet* and almost had a sex talk wndbdj #'dad this is already awkward enough. why did you have to say you and mom were having sex' #'did you thought we didn't?' #*realizes his parents had 3 kids* #serres #σερρες #Γιώργος καπουτζιδης #καπουτζιδης #giorgos kapoutzidis #kapoutzidis

Ok so I was writing a post about Serres and realized something, about their names...

It could be random but....

Odysseus: as we all now Odysseus from mythology spent like 20 years trying to get back to his home, Odysseus in Serres is also looking for his home, whether that's Athens or Serres ... or maybe a person

Eftychia: Eftychia in greek means happiness, and Eftychia died.... need I say more?

Nancy: Nancy's last words were "Είμαι δυστυχισμένη" (I'm unhappy) before the show ended, once she realized she was no longer living for herself and 3 months after Eftychia (Happiness/Her mom) died. Nancy short for Anastasia (if I'm not wrong) means resurrection, and in the last episodes she was trying to change her life

Lefteris: short for Eleftherios, Eleftheria= Free/Freedom. I don't know if it means much, but in the first episodes he was afraid to walk around town in a wheelchair because people would see him, and Odysseus was like, so what? Live for yourself dad. Who cares if they see you. So like, he needs some freedom yknow?

Stamatina: the name is similar to the word stop and she needs to be stopped cause she's annoying (and probable dangerous to society)

Ps: I just realized Billy is short for Vasily which is similar to the word king/royal and Billy's parents were rich and all. He didn't have a single line in the show since he was just an iPad kid but🤷‍♀️
