Going from being the ALPHA of his own pack to becoming what was essentially the original hybrid's henchman wasn't an easy transition. Kai wasn't a follower, being in charge and making decisions was where he felt most comfortable, and Klaus had stripped him of that power. Ironic, given how he had also been the same man to give him more power by turning him into a hybrid.

Kai's bone and broken skin begin to stitch themselves back together as quickly as they had been damaged, giving him enough RELIEF to breathe and steady himself, though his eyes still remained firmly on the other. There's a heavy silence between them before Kai lunges forward, quickly grabbing Klaus's wrist and BITING hard into the flesh and bone of his hand and fingers with a satisfied smirk.

Then, a different scent overtakes him the closer he seems to get to its source. Vampire. Not exactly an UNUSUAL discovery around these parts, but it belonged to one he hadn't yet met. Kai's hackles raise when he catches sight of Ophelia, letting out a low snarl at first that grows into a THUNDEROUS rumble. A nonverbal warning to her to either run far or stay put while he figures out what to do with her.

So much for good table manners. If Kai hadn't been covered in blood to the point of it being SOAKED in his blue strands of hair, no one would know that he had just consumed someone while turned. I honestly really like it because it's a wolverine sort of coloration and I associate Kai strongly with wolverines for some reason. Personally I also like the idea of werewolves in TV.D being more like the Twili.ght werewolves where they're Big Puppers instead of regular-sized wolves, but I'm not going to force that hc onto anyone dfghfdhbg ]
