I adore you and your nasty rat man. Have you actually read your stuff? Because itâs amazing. I especially love your dedication to keeping kai as close to character. From reading your stuff I just know I could grease numerous pans with his head.
Bonus: reading Jon Kai stuff has been one of my favorites
[ Oh my goodness! This was such a treat to see in my askbox today, thank you so much??đ I'm so glad you enjoy my portrayal of this rat. He's been a part of my writing life for many years now which feels strange to say considering who we're working with here. There's quite a few times I question to myself whether or not he's been pacified naturally because I've been writing him for a long time. I'm glad to hear when folks don't think that's the case!! He's still one of the nastiest rat men on the block.
Also I'm glad you enjoy reading the heart wrenching JonKai content! It really is one of my favorite fleshed out ships on this blog that started out as an offhanded comment in a convo with @perzysprumia and now has Lore in several verses and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you again, you were so sweet to send this in.đ©”
P.S. I do not recommend greasing your pan with Kai grease. The consequences could be disastrous. ]

I LOVE. having multiple threads with my rp partners !! itâs like on some days i feel like writing long stuff, on others i feel more like writing short stuff, sometimes iâd rather write some intense situations, and other times iâm more in the mood for lighthearted topics. having several different types of threads with a person enables me to keep rping with them even if iâm stuck @ a reply for another thread weâre having !! itâs great, honestly !? if you wanna have 1 more thread or 20 more threads /w me thatâs 10/10 đđđđ just write that starter or send an ic ask & weâll go from there or hmu for plotting k man i love threads i love writing all the things

@signetied asked: â  what do people around here do to have some fun ? â
" If they wanna have some actual fun? They don't stay here for it. " Kai answers the other with a slow, CRAWLING smirk. The small town of Brookfield Heights had been his home since birth, there weren't that many local activities that he hasn't already done or just wasn't interested in at all to begin with. The monotony of the day to day life here, Kai could fully admit was tiring. A fact which made the newest uptick in murder and crime all the more SHOCKING for the residents. This was unlike anything they've experienced before and Kai saw the shift of fear and distrust in people and how it rippled throughout the community in the last month. The cult leader relished in every moment of it. " I love this town, don't get me wrong. But shit here is pretty much limited to retired assholes and the kids. Unless you are a mini golf or bingo night sort of guy. "

đđđđđđđ đđđđ đđđđ đđ đđ đ.
okay so i got like, three books delivered this week, and in anticipation i reread another book that i had, and lads, let me tell ye, it was like quicksand. so now i have a list, some from my head, many from my wonderful friendsâ heads, of prompts that basically made us all very soft or very âpleasantly scandalized rich lady from the sixties who just found out a juicy bit of goss about the new neighborâ. i hope ye like them! (DO NOT ADD TO THE LIST. I WILL MAKE A PART TWO. AND THREE. AND FOUR. MANY MANY PARTS. EVENTUALLY. )
[ HAIR ]:Â Â Â Â Â sender slowly reaches out to catch a loose strand of the receiverâs hair and tuck it gently and securely back behind their ear, letting their touch linger afterwards. (if the receiver has short hair, then the sender reaches out and gently runs their fingers through their hair to smooth it back.)
[ CLOSE ]:Â Â Â Â Â while standing remarkably close to one another, the sender is unable to stop themselves from running their gaze across the receiverâs body, lingering for a moment on their lips, before returning to initiate prolonged, intense eye contact.
[ CHIN ]:Â Â Â Â Â as they stand close to one another, the sender hooks a finger and tenderly lifts the receiverâs chin, tilting it up so that they can look at one another, and running a thumb across their skin lightly.
[ THUMB ]:Â Â Â Â Â while cupping the receiverâs cheek in their hand, the sender slowly glides their thumb across their cheekbone in a tender, sweeping caress.
[ WOUND ]:Â Â Â Â Â upon noticing a recent injury on the receiverâs person, the sender carefully moves closer, running a thumb (or hand) across the wound in a gentle, troubled manner.
[ INHALE ]:Â Â Â Â Â while standing in very close quarters to the receiver, the sender shakily inhales with desire/anticipation as they realize how intimately close they are to one another.
[ DANCE ]:Â Â Â Â Â when alone together (e.g. the bedroom, the kitchen, literally anywhere once theyâre alone) the sender takes the receiverâs hand, and pulls them into a graceful yet intimate dance as a spontaneous act.
[ BARE ]:Â Â Â Â Â as they get undressed, the sender gently places a soft, tender kiss against the receiverâs bare shoulder.
[ SCAR ]:Â Â Â Â Â noticing a scar on the receiverâs skin, the sender tentatively stops them from covering it up, and rests a gentle, soft kiss over it.
[ FOREHEAD ]:Â Â Â Â Â placing a hand on the back of the receiverâs neck, the sender guides them close and rests their foreheads together.
[ PALM ]:Â Â Â Â Â taking the receiverâs hand, the sender brings it to their mouth, and places a tender kiss against the receiverâs palm.
[ LINGER ]:Â Â Â Â Â taking the receiverâs hand, the sender lifts it to their lips, and gently kisses their knuckles, lingering for a moment before withdrawing.
[ BEHIND ]:Â Â Â Â Â upon entering the same room as the receiver, the sender steps behind them, and winds their arms around the receiverâs waist, drawing them close against them.
[ WAIT ]:Â Â Â Â Â realizing the receiver is about to leave the room, the sender hastily reaches out and catches their wrist, preventing them from continuing their departure.
[ ARM ]:Â Â Â Â Â after holding their hand, the sender releases the receiver, but slowly glides their hand up the full length of their arm, lingering on the upper arm, then the shoulder, then resting their touch against the side of their neck.
[ HOLD ]:Â Â Â Â Â while close to the receiver, the sender wordlessly takes a hold of their hand, for no other purpose than to be holding it.
[ PLAY ]:Â Â Â Â Â while sitting together, the sender absently lifts the receiverâs hand, idly running their fingertips across the lines of their palms, mapping out every inch of their hand with slow, lazy touches.
[ GUIDE ]:Â Â Â Â Â in the process of guiding the receiver through a crowded place, the senderâs hand protectively grazes against the small of their back
[ TOUCH ]:Â Â Â Â Â while touching the receiverâs waist, the senderâs hand briefly dips beneath the hem of their shirt, skimming briefly across the bare skin of their waist.
[ CUP ]:Â Â Â Â Â Â bringing both hands up to cup the receiverâs face, the sender draws them in closer to them in order to get a better look at their face.
[ TUG ]:Â Â Â Â Â the sender tugs the receiver close against them by resting a hand against the small of their back, pulling them flush against their body.
[ HUSH ]:Â Â Â Â Â while standing close to one another and hiding from pursuers, the sender reaches up and places a finger against the receiverâs lips to prevent them from speaking and revealing their location.
[ WRAP ]: when sitting astride a horse/motorcycle/etc. together, the sender reaches back, takes the receiverâs wrists, and gently pulls their arms around the senderâs waist in an embrace designed to keep the receiver safe, despite feeling remarkably intimate.

@goregrin asked: [ CUP ]: bringing both hands up to cup the receiverâs face, the sender draws them in closer to them in order to get a better look at their face.
" Agh! Damn it, Jay! " Kai groans as soon as Joker's hands make contact with his bruised and bloodied face. He turns his head down to spit a wad of crimson onto the floor between them, courtesy of the split bottom lip that the infamous 'Batsy' had given to him in his attempt to PROTECT Jay from the same wrath. " Would you get off of me? I'll be fucking fine if you stop touching it all! " He rasps, GRIMACING again once Jay pulls him closer. With one of his eyes swollen and purple, he could only see the clown through mildly blurred vision.
0 notes
" It's...Kai. " He mumbles, his voice barely audible and quickly giving up the PROTEST as Jay takes his phone. It takes the newly escaped convict's observation for the realization to hit him like a ton of bricks. Shit. He had grabbed his personal phone out of habit and left the burner in the apartment. It was a rookie mistake and Kai is grateful that he isn't getting his head BASHED in due to it. " Yeah, understood. It won't happen again. " He nods his head and keeps his mouth shut otherwise, it's best he thinks that Kai was just a bit green to criminal activity instead of doing something he KNEW he shouldn't have done.
As Joker speaks on the phone, Kai turns his key in the ignition, making the engine roar to life. His eyes widen slightly at Joker's demand in a mix of disbelief and EXHILARATION. Fingers tighten on the steering wheel again as the brunette man peers at his mirrors. Before he knows it he's slamming on the gas pedal and the guard's body disappears violently underneath the vehicle. For good measure he reverses with similar speed and runs over him a second time.
Then, Kai drives forward again and turns the wheel sharply, heading out of Arkham property and onto the city streets. " Fuck! " Kai laughs harshly and SMACKS the steering wheel, the nervousness washing away completely in that moment. " What a fucking idiot. Should've looked both ways before crossing the street, huh? "
jay turned the phone over in his hand a few times, examining it before propping his elbow up on the center console. "First lesson Kip, these things are waaayyy too easy to trace to just be carrying one around like this. The cops got protocols but the Bat?" he gestured to a vague, broad space above their heads; outside of the car. "The Bat doesn't have those sorts of legal roadblocks. Not to mention, he's got better technology, he could probably track this thing down to the exact coordination's in a matter of seconds. So next time, bring a burner or none at all. Or I'll make you swallow it!" he reached out to give the other a playful pinch on the cheek despite the very real threat. "But I'll forgive ya since you're the only one who had the cojones to come get me out the joint."
a number was punched into the keypad and placed to his ear. ringing could be heard on the other side, before a man with a heavy jersey accent answered. "It's Joe, I'm out, let'em walk--- Hm?" more unintelligible talking on the other side. "Then let her crawl, I don't care, kick'em out." and the call was ended. jay rolled the window down and leaned out, giving the arkham guard a thumbs up. "Your wife and child are safe and-- Err. Well, they're alive! HAHA!" the man still had a look of anxiety on his face, but returned the thumbs up; his hand was shaking. joker looked towards kai, his voice low, "Run him over."

( we love angst on this blog, what can we say. hereâs some more dialogue prompts for you. a warning for potentially triggering themes below. )
â everything you touch, you ruin. â
â the only one who gets to kill you, is me. â
â you canât make me disappear. â
â memories are only there to make you bleed. â
â i donât need your permission. â
â donât shut me out like this. â
â the less you know, the better. â
â i wonât stop killing until you kill me. â
â why is it whenever we see each other, youâre covered in blood? â
â you think i felt something for you? youâve forgotten what i am. â
â the last time we talked, didnât you say you wanted to kill me? â
â i felt something loosen in me that shouldnât have been loosened. â
â pull yourself together. we have work to do. â
â stay back, i have a demon inside of me. â
â let me get closer, i have a hell inside of me where your demon can live. â
â people like that donât deserve to live. â
â just do what youâre told. like you always do. â
â why do you have to make everyone hate you? â
â itâs better that you donât get involved. â
â iâd do anything to make you stay. â
â who cares if it bleeds. â
â is this what you think love is? â
â just breathe through it. it gets easier. â
â donât pretend that you cared about me. â
â iâm starting to think you like wasting my time. â
â we wouldnât be alive if it werenât for me. â
â i will never, ever, give you a momentâs peace. â
â the world doesnât hate us. but it doesnât love us either. â
â it hurts that you still canât trust me after all this time. â
â a darkness with voices is better than a silent void. â
â itâs safer to be feared, than loved. â
â am i not good enough for you? â
â a burnt child loves the fire. â
â iâm tired of dying. â
â what if you hurt because it feels good? â
â donât try to fix me, iâm not broken. â
â if you want me to die, you can just say so. â
â you donât have to be afraid of who you are. â
â that line disappears once you cross it. â
â how can i believe you after all youâve done? â
â i wonât let you forget about me. â
â the person you once knew me as, died. â
â are you going to leave me again? â
â i have nothing i could offer you. â
â no one is going to save you. no one can. â
â maybe youâre / iâm already dead. âÂ
â you have blood on your hands. â
â what, canât take a punch? â
â iâm your mind giving you someone to talk to. â
â you have to step out of this darkness and let them see you for who you are, like i have. â
