I cannot choose one, rip bozo. I've already told you some of these, Star, but why not mention some of them in a post finally? Also included some bonus headcanons you haven't heard before.

Mole has more damage from the mauling than just the scars it left behind. Due to the mauling he can't quite hear out of his left ear properly and he also walks with a minor limp in his right leg.

The reason Mole puts out cigarettes in his left hand when gloved, even when it does in fact burn his palm sometimes, is because of nerve damage. He's pretty sure the damage came from the mauling initially but just later got worse due to injuries sustained in his work.

Mole's favorite animal is not giraffes. Just because he mentions giraffes and the sound of them dying in the movie doesn't make them is favorite animal. Always found that kind of dumb and lazy reasoning. He just in general doesn't have a favorite animal. Though, he is partial to cats as an animal to keep as a pet.

Mole really does not like horses. No, I will not explain or elaborate on why.

Without the two people my Mole, in his canon, actively cares about then he would be a far different person. Possibly even a dead one considering he would care about himself and his own safety in his own work significantly less.

This man will eat ravioli straight out of the fucking can without even warming it up. Yes, he does this often. Yes, he can actually cook but he chooses to do shit like this instead because it's faster and easier.

        His gaze was quick to land on the individual who'd spoke towards him, hands coming to grip the handle of his shovel tightly in a prepared defense, but rather than immediately answer the question tossed his way he let a silence fall as he stared. The question had been unexpected to him; He honestly hadn't anyone to be here, let alone be here at this time. And how exactly was one meant to explain bloodied clothes when said blood wasn't their own? Well, more like when a majority wasn't their own.

He supposed he could only be glad that she'd shown after he'd already completed the majority of his work but that wouldn't stop him from mentally scolding himself for being 'caught' whilst doing his work. It was still always a hassle to just deal with someone witnessing the aftermath when they weren't meant to after all.

        “ . . . Yez. ” He finally answered, a pause came between his words. It was the truth, technically, as he was in fact bleeding a bit himself from the hassle the recent target had been. Plus, it wasn't like he could deny his bleeding without causing the blood to raise more questions.

“ But eet iz fine. I am fine. ” He was quick to add after his pause, an attempt to cover for the blood that wasn't his own likely making 'his' bleeding look as if it was worse than it truly was. He wanted to look to explain this off since he would prefer not to dispose of two people in one night, especially when one was someone he'd known.

               1) The usual rules of regular RP blogs apply here as well. Mun =/= Muse. If my muse is mad, sad, or neither her emotions are not the same as my own.

Don’t God mod, or take control of my characters unless previously discussed. Small actions are fine, big actions need discussion.

2) I am a mutuals only blog, this means that as such. I will not role play with those I do not follow. My main blog is ofthcuniversc. And if that blog follows you we are mutuals. I will accept asks from Anon’s and non-mutuals though. But do not think it’ll turn into a thread.

3) I have the right to drop threads, does not mean I don’t like the thread, more than likely I’m very busy, or I forget, or I lose the thread. But if I feel uncomfortable with one I might just drop it. Also, if we do drop threads, don’t think of it as me no longer wanting to RP with you. 10. Would you be friends with your muse if they were real?

Way too many muses to answer this for all of them so I'll do it for the two top primaries.

For Mole? No. I don't think I would be friends with him. He'd be difficult to talk to period and as much as I love writing him people with his personality type tend to piss me off. So I don't think I'd actually like him much if he were real.

For Herbert? Probably. Herbert isn't difficult to make friends with. He's a polite fella, a nice fella. He can probably be annoying through talking to much but that isn't a big deal. He doesn't seem difficult to get along with if he were real.

16. Favourite trope?

I actually have a few I really enjoy but no exact favorite per se. The "soulmate au" trope. It's fun to me to write it romantically but especially platonically, such as for friends or found family. I think it's really neat to have an au where you will eventually find someone who's meant to be with you, romantically or platonically. I also love "monster au"s. They're just fun to mess around with no matter what. If just a few muses are a monster in the universe, if it's a universe where monsters live normally with humans, if there's monster hunters, just whatever. Then also the elegant party / ball / masquerade plot trope. I especially used to love the "murder mystery masquerade" that could come with those as I used to host roleplay events relating to that specific trope a fair amount. Also I love the "wild west au" trope. Love me some yeehaw cowboys. It's why I have an RDR2 muse and have been trying slowly add SPPD Adv. verses to my SP muses that I can add it to.

This is an interesting question and one I genuinely do not know the answer to! I've been roleplaying for like over ten years, since I was pretty young, so it's kind of hard for me to remember my first ever muse ever.

If I had to guess my first ever muse was probably either a "Warrior Cats" or "My Little Pony" OC I made as a kid. I can't remember any of the cat OCs but the first MLP OC I can ever remember writing was this edgy pegasus pony I had named "Toxic" who worked at the Rainbow Factory and was edgy and evil. Truly a girlboss.

However, if we're talking first muse on Tumblr? That'd go to either Ze Mole from South Park or Quackerjack from Darkwing Duck. I'm pretty sure my old Mole blog came first but my old blogs for both muses were both made pretty early on when I first decided to begin roleplaying on Tumblr so it'd have to be one of them.

Interactions

Interactions are fun and great but I feel like people bitch about not getting them too often without even trying themselves to get interactions. And this is something I've been seeing and hearing about a lot more lately but no matter the platform I've roleplayed on, the fandom, the characters, or so on people always bitch about not getting interactions. And it's always so ironic because these people are the ones kneecapping themselves from getting interactions.

They'll complain about not getting interactions or having meaningful connections for their muses when, quite literally, it's their own fault. They won't reach out to people first, they always expect other people to come to them. They won't fill out peoples' interest trackers so people won't know who the fuck out of their muses they even want to interact with if they want to reach out to that person. They won't try to plot or chat with their mutuals to make meaningful roleplay connections unless this connection relates to a ship they like half the time. They'll give poor responses that basically make any ic thread hit the wall or make their thread partner not want to write it anymore.

You have to actually try to get interactions, you can't just complain about not getting them when you aren't even trying in the first place. You've gotta send someone a meme to start an interaction yourself sometimes, hell, even send them an ooc meme to show interest in their muse / them or to try and set up a muse connection like sending something in for a relationship / plotting meme. If you're too nervous to do that then at least try filling out their interest tracker if they have one, try liking any "like for a starter" or "like to plot" posts they make. Just anything to show interest.

Now, I know not everyone who complains about not getting interactions is the type of person to not try at all to start interactions themself. There are some people who reach out a ton and get nothing back, this isn't about people like that. This is about people who just bitch and get upset about not being interacted with but then never reach out to other people, the people who expect people to always come to them and do all the work to roleplay with them. Because I see those a lot. I've seen them on tumblr, I've heard about them from friends, I've seen them on roleplay games I go on and it's tiring. It's just always tiring to watch them get upset because nobody wants to interact with them when they don't try at all to interact with anyone or show any interest in interacting with anyone else.

In all seriousness I've chattered about this a lot and mostly using the same few characters so I fear if I go too much into detail about this I'll sound like a broken record. But any character is one a fandom likely gets wrong a lot. I've noticed, at least for the fandoms I'm in, every character is "the character everyone gets wrong" because the fandom majority will always act as almost a hive mind. They'll agree with one another and spread headcanons that are incredibly incorrect to the character.

Anyways, everyone is always wrong about Herbert (SP) and Mole (SP). /j

7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?

I wouldn't say I've ever hated a character but I do have some characters I tend to be more automatically hostile to than others. Those being: Damien (SP), Gregory (SP), Lena (DT17), and Quackerjack (DWD).

Already chattered about the SP two enough in the past so I'll chatter about the DT17 and DWD ones.

Lena just tends to get on my nerves because the fandom, back when I was in a few years ago, she was treated like the best character ever. If you didn't like Lena then you were weird. If you didn't ship Lena and Webby then it was like a crime. She was treated like this character you weren't allowed to be negative towards in the spaces I was in and it just made me really dislike her. It also didn't help most Lena roleplayers I met made her edgy and brooding, also half the time also took Magica in the roleplay just to have Magica treat Lena terribly for "angst".

Quackerjack might actually sound weird to be on that list considering he was the first DWD muse I used on tumblr but I really tend to dislike how the fandom treats him and it made me really dislike his character for a little while. I've seen him treated like some sort of baby a weird amount?? People acting like this grown fucking man who's probably in his 40s doesn't know what the dreaded "sex" is or what a swear word is all because he's silly and childish acting as well as a toy themed villain. The fandom also tends to act like you have to ship him with Megavolt which ??? No ??? You're free to like Quackervolt but I despise how often it's a forced ship in the fandom because people can't fathom shipping DWD characters with anyone besides their immediate counterpart. Maybe it's different now but that's how the circles I was in a few years ago tended to treat him.

From what I recall they made a sort of "call out post" on someone for posting morally wrong shipping art in the general / main fandom tag where, in the post, they asked for people to share the call out and asked for people to mass report the user.

I understand that they didn't like the shipping art being shown, from what I recall it was either minor x adult or incest shipping so I can't fault them for not liking it since I also don't like that sort of shipping either, but to me making a call out like that was just fully the last straw since they were basically trying to get the person banned as well as were making that person get harassed for not bending to their demands of not using a public fandom tag on Tumblr. Even if you find something in a fictional context morally wrong it's fucked up to make a call out post to get them mass reported / banned as well as harassed in my opinion?? Like those are fictional characters being put in a morally wrong or fucked up situation, it sucks, but you literally making a real person get harassed and hated on is significantly worse then whatever they're doing to some fictional characters. And what makes it worse is I recall this person not even bothering to block the artist nor ask them to put tw / cw tags on their art and instead jumped right to the call out when either of those two options would have been so much easier??

So, for me, that ended up being my last straw for them because other shit they'd done had skeeved me out or made me uncomfortable or just generally showed me they weren't really a good person.

🌱 SEEDLING - what is their most vivid memory from childhood?

This was kind of a hard thing to consider for him but one of the things that came to mind first would be when he met the first of his younger siblings, Jane, for the first time. He probably would have been relatively young and she'd been just a baby who couldn't really do much of anything with him but it was the first time he'd ever seen or met one of his siblings so it was important to him. Even if he'd never truly been able to "know" her or his other siblings with how he'd ended up sick and then dead at such a young age.

...Technically yes?

He doesn't exactly jump to violence because he's angry though if you do piss him off enough he will most certainly throw hands. Especially in his main verse or any other verses where he's similarly dead because Hell did not make him a more pleasant person to say the least. But, rather, it's usually because Herbert is someone who enjoys fighting. Who would he be to turn down the chance to partake in a good ol' round of fisticuffs? But that also doesn't mean he's any good at it.

12. does your muse get flustered easily? how would they typically react to compliments from someone they are interested in/dating?

Herbert isn't that easily flustered typically but I think early on compliments from someone he's interested in or someone he's recently begun dating could get him flustered. Though, as the interest or dating continues on he's probably become less flustered over them over time.

Gregory doesn't really get flustered easily I'd say. Compliments are something he's used to so they kind of just roll off him, like water off a duck's back. They're expected, in a sense. But compliments from someone he's interested in or are actively dating are meaningful to him. They won't really get him flustered but they'll make him happy in a way compliments from other people don't.

17. what are some of the signs that your muse shows their care/love without saying they love/care about their partner?

Affection and listening would likely be signs from Herbert that he loves / cares about someone, in particular a romantic partner. Affection, of course, is an expected showing of it but this also includes affection people may find more boring such as just sitting with one another in an embrace and talking about things, things that may not even be all that exciting or interesting. Listening may also seem obvious as well but I think it'd be a bit notable with him. He's the type to talk. A lot. So much so the person he's talking to may not even get to say what they want if they've got him started. However, with someone in particular he cares / love he will be quiet and just listen to them talk instead without any interrupt, talking over, or going off on his own ramble based off whatever they're speaking about.

Signs from Gregory would likely be specific / personal compliments as well as getting things for them / gift getting. The way he was raised had gift getting as an obvious choice in showing love / care without putting in any other effort beyond it so it ended up as an associated way to show it to him, even if he does believe in showing care / love beyond just that. The other is person specific / personal compliments. He can pretty easily give general compliments to anyone about how they look nice that day or what not but with someone he actually cares for / loves he will make an effort to compliment things about them personally rather than just a general compliment that could be thrown at anyone.

18. how does your muse feel about marriage? would they ever want to get married?

Herbert likes the idea and definitely would prefer to get married. No doubt he'd eventually ask his partner to marry him if he knew they were alright with it. Though, he isn't actually sure if he'd be able to legally get married due to having died... but having some sorta ceremony and party would still be nice to have.

Gregory likes the idea of marriage and likes the idea of getting married but has no strong preference to the idea. He's perfectly happy not marrying his partner if that's what they want or, if they would like to be married, marrying them.

14. what traits does your muse want to avoid when it comes to choosing a romantic partner?

Mole wouldn't want a partner who's needy / clingy or self-entitled. He will be gone at times for long periods of time for work so someone that always needs him around, always needs things from him, or stuff like that would not be someone he would stick around. Similarly, he wouldn't stay around someone who's self-entitled for very long. He will not do things for someone because they expect him to, have a particular status, or so on. Mole doesn't really give a fuck who someone is, what their status is, or so on. He won't put up with being expected to conform to someone who's entitled like that.

Herbert similarly isn't interested in people who are self-entitled. He'd seen enough entitlement from people during the time he was alive due to the circles his family was involved in. He thinks its obnoxious and snobby. He also can't stand the idea of being with someone who's constantly negative. Herbert likes to believe himself to be a pretty positive person so he doesn't think he could really deal with someone who's always so down acting. Also, it reminds him of his cousin a bit too much.

Bradley likely wouldn't be able to remain with someone clingy / needs him around a lot. Like Mole he will be gone for very long periods of time but, unlike Mole, he won't be able to be contacted at all due to being off planet. Mole wouldn't care very much. It likely wouldn't bother him nor would he really delight in it, it'd just be something he's neutral to. As long as the interests aren't ones he's not forced to partake in when he doesn't want to then he won't care at all. They can talk about it and he'll listen, he prefers listening anyways.

Herbert would likely delight in it. He'd be interested in hearing about any interests his partner may have, maybe even partaking in them himself. He's definitely open to trying anything once.

Bradley would be fine with his partner having differing interests. While he might not always understand what they may be interested in he'll be more than happy to listen to them talk about it. Maybe he'd also be open to partaking in any interests his partner has but that really depends on what it is.

None of them really have a set ideal type but they do have general preferences for an ideal partner I guess?

Obviously, Mole would prefer someone who's independent and can deal with his absences. He also would want someone who wouldn't pressure him into changing how he lives such as trying to get him to stop his mercenary work. Though, probably the biggest thing for him is wanting someone who won't force him into any form of physical touch. Surprising him with or pressuring him him into physical touch is the quickest way to get Mole to not like you anymore aside from trying to get him to change himself.

Herbert does not have an ideal type at all. Just be a decent person and you're fine.

Bradley, similarly to Mole, would prefer someone who's more independent and can deal with his long-term absences. He also just wants someone who's nice and can be "soft" per se.

16. what is/are your muse's love language(s)?

Quality time is overall his main love language, definitely. Mole would prefer to just spend quality time with anyone he's close to, platonic or romantic wise, to show that he "cares". He personally also prefers quality time to be spent just either casually hanging out and not doing much or doing something together out in nature. He's not the type to enjoy spending time out on the town doing shit, if anything that'd probably end up making him unhappy and uncomfortable.

His secondary love language is probably acts of service. If he cares about someone then he will occasionally do things for that person, unprompted. He doesn't often go out of his way to do things for people anymore unless he's supposed to get something out of it, meaning usually if he does do something for someone it's transactional. Usually doing things for other people is just some kind of work to him. However, like I typed a bit before, if he genuinely cares about the person he'll do it unprompted and without expectation to get something in return. But for him to consider doing that he'd need to consider himself pretty close to that person.

Mole

Mole knows it to be inevitable for basically everyone, the only thing that changes between most people for it is how long they have to wait. He also expects to die sooner than most of the people he knows due to his own unhealthy habits and his line of work so, in a sense, he isn't afraid of it. Especially since he has died once before already and has experienced the after life. Of course, he hadn't experienced it for very long technically but it removed the fear of what will happen after dying. But he wasn't afraid the first time while dying so he doesn't believe he'll be afraid when it happens the second time.

Bradley

Bradley prefers not to think about it in all honesty, even with what does. He isn't exactly sure how long he's actually even going to live considering he isn't human and that's assuming something doesn't take him out while he's doin' MBC stuff. He's extremely durable and basically kina op but he doesn't exactly want to consider what might test his limits. This overall does leave him more worried about it rather than outright afraid. If not worried for his own death than the death of others.

Damien

Damien, similarly to Mole, knows it is inevitable and knows it must happen. He knows it will happen some day to most everyone including himself since he is mortal. He also is aware that, as the Antichrist, he is meant to be killed. He is supposed to be slain and that, in a sense, he was literally born to die. And, in all honesty, he fears for when that day comes. He doesn't want to die and he's afraid for when he will have to die because it's supposed to happen. It feels like it's doomed to happen, no matter what's done.

Anything platonic in all honesty.

I like shipping and all even if I don't talk about it a ton on my blog or bitch about it more than anything. I'm even the person who will point at characters and go "they'd be funny to ship" but I'm also super big on platonic stuff. In fandoms it really feels like any art or writing I see of two characters together is always ship related. People ignore sibling relationships, family dynamics, friendships, and literally anything platonic over anything romantic. Wanna find art of two specific canonical friend characters being friends? Too fuckin' bad you're getting a bunch of romance! Though, this primarily goes for "big popular" ships in fandoms. I don't usually see it happen with unpopular / overshadowed ships as often... if you can even find content for them which actually brings me to my secondary opinion on this.

There should be more fics / art for unpopular or overshadowed ships too. Some ships have so little content that you have to literally grasp onto a singular fic or piece of art for it. There's a particular ship I like that's heavily overshadowed by the more popular ship involving one of the characters and its always disappointing to find content for the "big popular ship" instead of the ship I wanted to look it. It's even been to the point where there was at one point only one fic in that specific fandom for the ship that I could find but it was unrequited and had the other, more popular, ship implied for the character who didn't share the romantic feelings. It was super disappointing to read because that ended up hitting me like a brick at the end of the fic.
