Honestly I’m so confused why people are so upset that Israel was included in Eurovision, like…my dude it’s literally a music contest for a bunch of countries---that Israel has already been included in before---not an actual political statement.
It’s literally insane to me, especially with how people were treating the Israeli contestant---protesting her, forcing her to change her song, other contestants saying shit like “talking to her doesn’t mean I support Israel,” etc. etc.
And I feel like that’s a reoccurring thing with all this mainstream pro-Palestine bullshit: y’all don’t actually care about Palestine or want to help anyone, you just want “good person points” socially, but don’t actually care about your impact.
You'll post shit like "stan Hamas" and ignore the fact that they're literally a terrorist organization dedicated to killing Jews, and that they're literally hurting Palestinians too, as well as the fact that the conflict between Israel and Palestine is only ongoing because Hamas keeps breaking the ceasefire and won't give back hostages.
But you'll ignore all of the organizations that actually help Palestine because they're run by Jews/Israelis, or even just supported by Jews and Israelis.
(And how much do you want to bet that the same people who cry- "Hamas is only doing this because of Israel's actions regarding Palestine, so it's justified/reasonable/understandable, etc." -would never say that if it was a group like, say, ISIS that was kidnapping/killing/waging war on Americans because of the US's actions in the Middle East?)
You'll harass random people on college campuses just because they're Jewish, even though they clearly have no fucking say in what a country on the other side of the world does, and barricade yourselves inside a building and be shocked when you're suspended or expelled for property damage/harassment/etc.
But you won't volunteer at any organizations that are dedicated to helping Palestine, or donate money to those organizations, or donate food/clothes/etc., or actually do anything besides whine and cry because you helped destroy a campus building and your college doesn't want you there anymore.
(Hell, 99% of y'all don't even bother volunteering for your own communities, so I know you're sure as hell not volunteering to help anyone else's---again, you just want the "good person points")
Everyone that was so gung-ho about "oh yeah, let's punch Nazis!" a few years ago are now spouting Nazi rhetoric.
Everyone that preached that bigotry is never ok, even if someone from a minority does something bad, are now the same people chanting- "Jews are shit!" -and spreading blood libel.
Everyone that was calling for solidarity between minorities and oppressed groups are now the same people ostracizing Jews because they won't condemn the only country that will actually protect them- (or rather, they'll condemn the Israeli governments actions, but won't stand side-by-side with antisemites or say that Israel should be destroyed).
Everyone that said that it wasn't okay for people to be racist towards poc because some of the BLM protests were getting out of hand/violent are now the same ones going- "oh, it's fine to be antisemitic because these disgusting Jews Zionists aren't agreeing with me on everything."
Everyone that was posting shit about being aware of misinformation and doing your research before posting something are now the ones that have no idea what Zionism actually is, don't even know which river and sea their chant means, has no clue what Israel has actually done to Palestine and is just calling it a "genocide" as a buzzword despite all the evidence stating otherwise, etc.
Like...you guys are really just proving that you don't actually have morals beyond what's socially acceptable.
"Never harass random Muslim/gay/trans/black/etc. people just for a cause or because they did something you didn't like...unless they're Jewish, then you can stalk them on campus and be physically violent towards them."
"Bigotry is never okay, even if someone from a minority does something you don't agree with or something awful...unless they're Jewish, then spread blood libel and call for the "final solution" all you want."
"Not everyone from the US/Republican states/Christian churches/etc. agrees with what their government/state/religious leaders are doing, so it's not fair to blame and ostracize them for it...unless it's Jewish people or Israelis or, G-d forbid, Jewish Israelis, then you can hate them and blame them for everything!"
Like, genuinely, fuck off.
You aren't good people, you aren't "making a difference" or "on the right side of history," you don't give a shit about morality or justice or doing any good for anyone---all you care about is your fucking popularity and the social norm.
So keep your stupid, hateful, misinformed hands off of the I/P conflict---you've proven that y'all clearly can't handle having opinions on it.

I think it's so weird how many people don't realize that colorism is anti-Black. Like, it doesn't matter what "community" it's happening in, it's anti-Black. That's why so many Black folks speak up when they hear about it no matter where it's happening, 'cause it affects us.
It affects the Black people in these "communities" (Cause in case y'all forgot, Black folks are everywhere), it affects the Black folks who aren't in those communities, because colorism is explicitly anti-Black and even if the event or bullshit going on doesn't directly involve any Black folks, it changes how we're treated, it changes what we need to do to be safe.
It's not just a problem that these individual communities have to deal with on their own. It's also a general anti-Blackness issue (that cannot and should not be solved just by pushing it off onto the Black folks in those communities). I think a lot of people, when they run into these issues, they have a tendency to get really defensive and really tighten their community up, which makes sense in some ways, but often this makes the anti-Blackness worse because they're not even listening to the general Black community and often they're shoving out the Black people in their community as well.
And like I said, it's not an individual issue. Colorism isn't just an issue for their community, it's also an issue for the Black community, so they've gotta be communicating, they've gotta be listening to the people most affected. But most of the time they don't because like I said, people don't acknowledge colorism as a general anti-Blackness issue, so Black people in general are viewed as just "butting in" on something that "doesn't concern them," and Black folks in the community aren't really listened to either so we're almost right back at where we started.

transphobia specifically directed at trans men and transmasculine people is not transmisandry. it's not transandrophobia. there is specific oppression that trans men face, but it's not because we're men or masculine, as those two words imply. it's just fucking misogyny. "young girls are being brainwashed/groomed into being trans" = misogyny. "trans men with mental illnesses can't really know if they're trans or not" = assumes people they see as girls can't make their own decisions = infantilization of women = misogyny. "transmascs over-masculinize themselves to fit in" = demonizes gender transgression of anyone assigned female at birth = misogyny. "what if they decide to detransition and can't have children?/testosterone can cause infertility/testosterone can cause irreversible changes" = sees people with uteruses as vessels for babies and the patriarchy = misogyny.
internet trans discourse is stupid and i just want to shake people by the shoulders and scream that both sides of the "transandrophobia" debate are so fucking reductive. all of the above rhetoric is alive and well and the cause of a shit ton of anti-trans legislation, sentiment, and violence both nationally (US) and internationally, and i'm tired of people who aren't transmasculine acting like trans men automatically have male privilege just because we identify as men now. it doesn't change how cis ppl see us, and even if a guy has been on hormones for awhile, he's still affected by reproductive laws (hmm...correlation in US legislation/rights anyone?), as one example. this of course doesn't mean trans men can't have male privilege, but it's not the universal sticker of "this person is a man and therefore doesn't face x" that cis men have.
personally i am not a fan of the way "transmisogyny" is used as a specifier, because from what i've seen, the oppression that trans women and men (and nonbinary people, especially those who do hormones or surgeries), though different, all stems from misogyny. transphobia itself stems from misogyny. i don't like how "transmisogyny"--and especially its derivatives, tme/tma--imply that trans men somehow face less oppression than trans women. we are all one group and the insistence on dividing us into this ridiculous binary, one that is supposedly, to internet queers, the greatest divide when it comes to types of transphobia, erases factors like race and disability that i think have much more of a sway on how likely it is that a trans person will be a target. you think a black trans man transitioning now means he'll somehow be safer than a white trans woman? really????
before y'all turn this into the pancake waffle thing, i'm not saying the word transmisogyny is bad or that we shouldn't talk about the intersectionality of being trans and a woman. but the way the trans community, and by extension, the cis queer community, talks about it as if trans women are the only ones that are women, seen as women, feel connected to womanhood, adjacent to womanhood, and face all the misogyny related to those things is frankly one of the stupidest progressions of queer theory i've ever seen. intersectionality of gender identity, transness, and sexuality is so complicated, fluid, and personal in a way that a gender/sexuality intersection with race, disability, or class is not. while there are threads of connection between all of these things, the two "types" of gendered oppression, misogyny and transphobia, are so closely tied together and smushed together within the meaning of gender that efforts to put clear-cut terms and frameworks of intersectionality within that little shaken-up cocktail is going to be fruitless.
and y'alls insistence on doing so, trying to dumb everything down into rules that don't always apply and definitely don't match up with the way the actual world treats trans people, drives me fucking crazy.

Hi, I'd love a Hazbin match up (no pressure though)! Characters I don't want would be Alastor, Niffty St Peter, Sir Pentious and Charlie or Vaggie (I'm sorry I know that's a lot 😭)
My pronouns are she/they and I'm pansexual. I have dyed black hair and several Piercings and tattoos and I'm planning on more. I'm very into goth fashion (and music).
I absolutely love horror. It's my favorite genre of anything but especially books and movies. My favorites are Scream and Trick r Treat. My favorite horror novel at the moment is I'm Thinking of Ending Things (probably more of a thriller but still). I absolutely love music (and singing). My favorite genres are gothic rock and metal and my favorite bands are Ice Nine Kills, Motionless in White and She Wants Revenge. Also, Halloween is my favorite holiday!
I'm a Scorpio and an infp so when I feel something I FEEL it. My emotions run high but I love very deeply and I'm very passionate about well...everything. I tend to be quiet until I know someone then I'll say the most out of pocket shit ever.
Additionally: I get seasonal depression in the summer, which sounds ridiculous but it happens. I'm just miserable when it's hot. Not sure why i felt the need to include this but I did. I also Kin Charlie and am a recently converted Val simp lmao. Also I'm sorry again for saying I don't want so many characters! I feel so bad 😭 I hope this is enough!
Hiya! Thanks for the request! After some consideration, I think I'd pair you with…
Tumblr media
Adam!
I really do think you and Adam would make a good match!
Let me preface, Adam isn't goth himself. However, he's definitely very interested in goth fashion and music. He'd very likely pick out goth clothes for you that fit your vibe and make you look amazing, although he probably wouldn't admit to doing it just cause he likes you.
Adam is assuredly a big horror fan as well, although has a tendency to critique horror media if he thinks it's too cheesy or predictable. He'd very much love psychological horror.
When it comes to music, Adam does prefer hard rock. However, his next favourite genre is gothic rock. He plays guitar, so he'd totally play one of your favourite songs to get you to sing.
Adam isn't typically one to express emotions, but I feel like he'd really admire those who do. He definitely would appreciate your passion, as he's also very passionate about things he enjoys. Due to him saying out of pocket shit a lot, I don't think he'd be bothered by you doing it at all.
Thanks for requesting! I hope this is good enough for you :) (One of my best friends is goth too. I hope you don't mind me saying, but y'all in the goth community are honestly some of the sweetest people I've ever interacted with.)

Y’all really need to treat Black People in the RPC better.
Ya know. I woke up this morning and I decided I've bitten my tongue about this long enough. This isn't singling anyone out but this is a rising problem I see in the RPC and I think now is a good time to address it.
Y'all really need to start uplifting Black content creators and role-players in this community.
Like some of y'all really think it's enough to have "Black lives matter" in your bios and "Don't interact if you're racist" in your rules. But honestly? You're doing the bare fucking minimum here.
Time and time again, I've seen black RPers pour their heart and souls into their characters, hours upon hours researching/writing/drawing for their ocs while endless amounts of dollars spent commissioning custom art/icons of their characters, only to be told their their OCs are "too over powered," "boring," "not my cup of tea." Meanwhile a white RPer writes a preexisting popular character from a certain media with just as much if not more power, and the RPC is all over them.
It's fucking exhausting to say the least and I've debated leaving the RPC for a while now because of it. Yes. I said, "a while now."  I've been biting my tongue on this issue for a while now because I was scared of how people would take it. Usually when I bring up race with whatever community I'm in I get told "not to bring race into it."
But at this point? Fuck it. I'm done feeling guilted. I'm done being silent. I'm speaking what's on my mind. Y'all need to treat us black RPers with a little more respect around here. And again this isn't directed to my mutuals cause y'all are awesome and the only reason I stay on this hellsite and in this rancid community is because of y'all.
No no. I'm talking to the people behind y'all. Skimming our backstories, dismissing our characters, telling us we're too OP when bitch you interact with literal Satan, shut up.
It's not enough to just put "BLM" in your bio, and "Don't interact if you're racist" in your rules anymore. At least, it's not for me. Interact with black muns & their characters, reblog their art they draw/commission, reblog their promos, don't just use them as a meme source, RESPECT. BLACK. ROLEPLAYERS.
And hey, if you have a problem with any of what I just said, Bye. You know where the block & unfollow buttons are.
And to any black person that happens to read this. I get it. Trust me, I get it. We've been ignored, infantilized, fetishized, pushed on the back burner, chastised, criticized, and told our characters are the problem from day one. And it's a problem. I feel your struggle, I feel the strife. You're not the only one who feel this way. And if you feel that way. SAY IT. Don't be afraid. If your so-called "friends" or "allies" unfollow you for saying it straight, then guess what. They're not your friends to begin with. Period.

Girrrrrrl,I'm getting ready for work and saw the anon's message about dude who's pro black.Ugh I can't stand black men like that. I know one who loves his mom and all other women in his family,he treats me well too but tried to question my blackness.Every now and again he'll try but he knows how to stfu.I told him just because you and the rest of your problack crew wear all of that African clothing/fabrics,call each other Kings and Queens, starting up y'all businesses, read only black literature and mainly or only deal with black people that doesn't mean shit.I told him a lot of them are jumping on the bandwagon and don't really care about black people like they claim. He tried to get me to leave where I was working to start a business then swore I was a nut for not doing so.I work and save.I will have my own business one day but I was like how tf you going to put me down for working a legal job but you didn't do that when you needed my financially?Smfh at the black men who act like that.He also don't like gay people but don't mind a woman who likes women.Smfh.He tries to get with me but after all of that started coming out I was like oh no baby what is you doing?Since we know some of the same people,we keep it cool.He got mad at me one day because I told him he and his friends were trying to use black people to get rich instead of really elevating the community. All the really want to show them is how to own and I'm with that because I own properties. He doesn't know that since he thinks I'm some uninformed black woman working for the man, slaving.I told him the community needs more like learning how to read, food etc.One of his homegirls teach how to eat right but you have to pay $60 just for info.Smfh it's just ridiculous.
Wow! He sounds v invested in captitalism. Like what about our political rights, education or mental wellness? All of this is what we deserve as a People.
So many people think the revolution is about money, which is actually another manifestation of white supremacy in this country. to make the "bottom line" or point of anything profit.
im here for financial independence but i cant poo poo anyones methods of achieving that. especially other industrius blk ppl. its not the point.
Im glad yall can weed through these hoteps cause yiiiiikkkkeeesss 🤧😪
