A new video diving into Saints Row's development dropped, featuring an anonymous Volition dev

Another very interesting thing that Worlds of Borderlands says is apparently, "health" is not just a video game abstraction, but a measurable quantity in-universe, called biohealth.

Granted, this term is only referenced in the section about Anshin (which reveals they manufacture health kits and quick-changes, proving my hc they're a medical biotech corporation) and vaguely implied in Maya's section (which says she "pumps her allies full of Siren-generated healing energy"), but it's still a very interesting idea.

My guess is biohealth is a sort of quantifiable value of one's health and durability, but also could be compared to typical fantasy life force (all playable Sirens have some kind of weird magic healing skill, not just Maya) or Rimworld haemogen ("reserve of biological energy" that can be restored and transferred sounds very much like videogame health).
