Accelerating the Thailand’s Economy
Tumblr media
Thailand's construction industry, including both public and private construction, was valued at around THB 1.3 trillion.
Positive private construction outlooks stem from prospects of new buildings, such as office and residential projects. For office buildings, a new supply is expected, as the current occupancy rates are as high as 90%. As for residential projects, large developers are eyeing new mixed-used projects with anticipated high returns, coupled with the continuing trends of condominiums built along the electric train route
Public sector work to lead the market, large infrastructure projects will drive activity in the industry. Nine megaprojects, began construction in 2018. Consequently, growth was marginal in the first nine months of 2018, at only 1.9% year-on-year. Residential property recovering, residential property development has always accounted for most of the construction activity in the private sector.
GDP Contribution from Construction Industry The Rising of industrial construction in Thailand is expected to be around the corner soon construction on the industrial sector will be the backbone of Thailand's future economic dominance in the region. The construction sector itself will play a critical role in developing the nation's economy. Despite the downturn of the sector during the 2014-2015 economic slowdown, the construction sector will experience an improvement parallel to the increase in the industrial sector. The government's plan to develop infrastructure in several economic zones has been a great opportunity that could boost the growth of the industrial construction sector.
Increase in Number of Building Permits The pace of construction works is largely influenced by trends in the real estate sector. While the office segment sees steady demand, new supply does not quickly reach the market. At the same time, the residential segment is dealing with oversupply at some levels and the withdrawal of speculators. As such, construction is somewhat limited and developers are selective, especially as the price of land rises. Retail space, for its part, is witnessing overbuilding and weak demand. Thailand's construction industry is at a turning point.
The Industrial Sector: New Zones, New Growth
The government’s willingness to make Thailand as ASEAN’s leading economic zone in selected industries is driving the industrial construction sector.
The government also approved infrastructure plans for developing the Eastern Economic Corridor, spanning and focussing on the construction of transport sea and rail infrastructure.
Growth Opportunities in the Global Construction Industry
“The Global Construction Industry is Expected to Reach an Estimated $10.5 Trillion by 2023”
The future of the global construction industry looks good with opportunities in residential, non-residential, and infrastructure. The global construction industry is expected to reach an estimated $10.5 trillion by 2023, and it is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 4.2% from 2018 to 2023. The major drivers for the growth of this market are increasing housing starts and rising infrastructure due to the increasing urbanization and the growing population. Emerging trends which have a direct impact on the dynamics of the construction industry include increasing demand for green construction to reduce carbon footprint, bridge lock-up device systems to enhance the life of structures, building information systems for efficient building management, and the use of fiber-reinforced polymer composites for the rehabilitation of aging structures. Securing Growth in Thailand’s Construction Industry
With an urban population of over 300million people and with a construction market volume valued at more than USD 250billion, Southeast Asia has become the one of the most attractive target markets.
Thailand’s construction industry output value in real terms is expected to rise from US$23.5 billion in 2018 to US$27.9 billion in 2023, measured at constant 2017 US dollar exchange rates.
The industry’s expansion has been – and will be – driven by the government’s efforts to develop the country’s transport infrastructure, coupled with efforts to boost the residential construction market.
Residential construction was the largest market in the Thai construction industry between 2014 and 2018, accounting for 40.9% of its total value in 2018. The market is expected to follow a similar trend over the forecast period, with residential construction accounting for 40.3% of the industry’s total value in 2023.
Market output over the forecast period is expected to be supported by the ongoing urbanisation and government efforts to balance housing demand and supply through the construction of low-cost housing units.

Our country is going to tear itself apart if we don’t do something.
The idiots joking about “raking up the ground” and bickering about the validity of climate change are seriously missing the point here. Our country won’t come together on anything, but we can ALL get behind a fucking dollar 💵 So...🤪 Let’s get capitalist with it (ahem)🧐:
Do you know what will happen when all of this shit goes up in smoke??? PEOPLE, MOTHERFUCKERS! 🤭 86million in just California, Texas, and Florida alone, actually. I don’t expect the entire populations of these states to be displaced by these natural disasters, but a real good FOURTH of them will be.😟 That’s about 21.5million people moving inland in the NEXT 15 YEARS, with an estimated 154 million to be displaced globally by 2050! 😳
This means new people with different ideas than you, moving into your cities and towns.😰😱 That means the rent will go up. 💰 That means food will go up. 🍗 That means gas will go up ⛽️ ... And that means life sucks even more than it does now, and it will only get worse as climate change devastates TEXAS, FLORIDA, NEW YORK CITY, LOUISIANA and everywhere climate change has an impact (*caughs* everywhere *continues caughing*). 🤧🤯😵 this means more domestic and foreign immigrants, as well.😬
Remember the mass domestic immigration that took place after Hurricane Katrina? 🤔All those new people in foreign cities bringing their problems to a town that doesn’t know or understand them? 😓Broken, alone and forced to start over some place new? 😤 the economic impact after that storm was about 250billion dollars. USD. Actual dollars. That last huge storm in Texas? 190 billion. Puerto Rico? 43 billion. Our country cannot Handel the financial strain these storms will bring. Y’all are missing the point and the real impact of something as devastating as this.😒
We will ALL suffer if we don’t start doing something. ⏰ It doesn’t matter if you believe in climate change or not, it matters how badly you want your rent and food to stay, somewhat, cheap. 🤑 This will only get worse. 💀... We need real solutions as soon as possible. 🌎

You’ll Find Virtually 14 Million Disabled Individuals In The UK — Doesn’t Society Reflect This?
The number of people in the united kingdom is on the increase.
According to new Authorities data, you’ll find now 13.9 million disabled people in the united kingdom.
That means people that are disabled now make up 22 percent of the united kingdom population — more than one.
And yet Scope’s study shows nearly half the population don’t understand a disabled person.
Something isn’t adding up.
The reality is that vast quantities of folks continue to be excluded from components of society.
Employment is just one area where time and time disabled individuals are too frequently unfairly excluded.
You will find a million disabled people in the united kingdom who can and need to work, but continue to come up against companies’ bad attitudes and inaccessible working practices.
The Government has pledged to have a thousand more people into work, but we need to see action leading.
Struggling to produce changes will result in a waste of gift, not just from realising their aspirations stopping people but also damaging the UK economy.
There is additionally a woeful absence of diversity on our displays, and this includes folks that are disabled.
Eight in 10 disabled people say they don’t feel well represented from the media.
One in every five people would be disabled if reality was reflected by our displays.
While some progress was made, we will need to see people that are disabled in front of and behind the camera. The industry needs to make this occur.
The way our society has been setup means millions of people are excluded from being part of it.
Attitudes that are obsolete and issues mean their families and individuals are shut out from actions many folks take for granted, such as hopping on a bus, visiting the shops or visiting a restaurant.
That is bad for the economy, with companies overlooking the #250billion annual spending power of disabled people and their households.
These problems are easy to repair. Staff could be educated and buildings may be adapted. We don’t need to dwell in a society in which a quarter of the population is shut out of life.
Regular equality is attainable, but the voices of all 14million disabled people shouldn’t longer be dismissed.
When we work together we can construct.

Well... the crazy Journey continues. Today I was 1 of 500 companies invited to pitch @buiced to @walmart as part of their really incredible $250Billion commitment to #madeinusa Companies and Products. So BUICED was Officially Approved to sell on Walmart.com (which is actually doing really well) and Jet.com (which they own). Those are big for me. Turns out my current bottle won't fit on the shelves of their 5000 stores. Good thing I had a back up plan! 😜... more to come, but today was a good day. Ps... no 🍌 though, they had pulled pork and tri-tip! (at Walmart Global Headquarters)
