being both a student and a teacher at the same instution has been a fun experience. after 8 hours of class, i go to my german class (literally walk into it) and learn german for 4 hours. it’s tiring sometimes, but it’s always rewarding. maybe towards the end of this level, i might even try writing my posts in german :] and thank you for 8k followers!! it’s an insane number. thank you so much for considering my blog as a blog that’s worth to follow<3 take care!!

so for the end of last week i just put my head down and worked my ass off - result,, 126 pages, 49000 words lmaooo fuck

bref what i wrote can’t go in my dissertation anymore,, which means it’ll go in the annexe but that means that i haven’t actually written anything for my diss ???! panic mode activated

especially because now it’s t-30 days lmao fuck

bref bref bref today was dedicated to planning and reading some biblio !!

I got to tafe today only to find out my class was cancelled so I’ve been hiding in the library studying for my human anatomy midterm instead.

Good news is that I only have 6 more weeks until I complete my tafe course and my next semester of uni so I’m very happy about that :)

mood: lonely and sleepy

💻 work: — 🎓 university: completed 3 tasks on the introductory "it" and "there" 💬 korean: learnt 7 words 📖 reading: continued empire of the ants by bernard werber 🤍 self-care: brushed my teeth twice; took all my medication; tried to eat well

today is my first proper day in hospital! i'm very very sleepy so i spent most of the time here in bed. i'm either reading or sleeping (maybe my new dose of medication is to blame) and i'm really looking forward to meeting new people once i'm out of this boring isolation... the nurse said today that the other patients were very sweet and funny girls.

i need to finish my analysis for the practise course asap but i'm not sure whether it'll be done till its deadline... maybe tomorrow i'll try not to forget about it!

i feel like a spent a lot of time revising yet did so little. it took me 2 hours to learn twelve flashcards and i didn’t even finish learning them. remembering biology is so hard, but it’s ok, i have tomorrow .*ೃ

100 Days of Productivity [Day: 79] || 100 Jours de Productivité [Jour: 79]

I've finally fallen back into a daily routine that I can be happy with. There's been enough time before & after work to get everything done that I've wanted to while also having enough time for me. It feels good to be back on track with my reading goal for the year & to be digging into book recommendations that are more to my liking.

early mornings are a lot more rewarding when you're able to spend them doing what you want to. & life feels like it's worth living when you can give yourself the freedom you deserve.

J'ai enfin retrouvé une routine quotidienne qui me convient. J'ai eu assez de temps avant et après le travail pour faire tout ce que je voulais faire, tout en ayant assez de temps pour moi. Cela fait du bien de retrouver mon objectif de lecture pour l'année et de me plonger dans des recommandations de livres qui me plaisent davantage.

Les petits matins sont beaucoup plus gratifiants lorsqu'on peut les consacrer à ce que l'on veut. Et la vie vaut la peine d'être vécue lorsqu'on peut se donner la liberté que l'on mérite.

sorry for the mini hiatus! spring hit and i had to do some frolicking, but, unfortunately, it is lock-in season

had my last gender and health seminar today! talked about aging and menopause and how the health system will always pathologize women for simply living

got lunch with my usual wednesday crew! there was also a little farmer's market today, so i bought some apples and brussel sprouts

went to the library to study for my human physiology test next week (yikes omg i'm scared)

had my sociology lecture! fun stuff about how science never will be objective and is unfortunately (?) carried out by humans

had an interview for a program i'm applying for next year omg it was so scary but i tried my best!

went home and cooked brussel sprouts and pasta because self care

working on more human phys revision and also mcat revision
