im tired of pretending that the, "im a person" scene with technoblade and tommy are either one if they're faults or that one person is in the wrong. both their feelings are valid. when people look at this scene, they only include technobaldes "I'M A PERSON" quote, and often leave out what tommy says after. "YOU ARE, BUT SO ARE WE.". that quote is so important, because from both the characters point of views are valid.

tommy was seeing what kind of person he was turning into with technoblade, and decided to pull himself out and chose his friendship with tubbo where he was effectively happier, than his one with techno.

it is 100% valid though for technoblade to feel just as betrayed. he housed tommy, he cared for tommy and helped him in whatever way he could to some degree.

it's just their different ideology's clashing, because they both have different ideas of friendship and they're thought processes are different. take a look at technos relaionshop with philza. it's you are my friend, we are mutually beneficial and we don't betray each other. tommy and tubbos is a bit different. its i don't care how much you betray me because you're still my friend and i still care for you.

they're different and that's okay.

Honestly at this point tommy can’t even have a villain arc in my eyes. He could do whatever because he’s fed up with everyone and traumatized and I’d be like “go off king!!!! so true bestie <3”
