Geeta asked me if I could redesign the League website today. Even though I’ve told her I’m a programmer, not a web designer, and I really don’t know much about what makes a site look good. But she kept insisting!

…All of this to say. The League website is in Comic Sans with hidden Veevees everywhere for however long it takes Geeta to notice. Should still be able to access everything fine. It just looks 100x less serious. First person to find all the hidden Veevees and send me proof gets a free… I dunno. Exclusive picture of my own Veevees? I can try and make a crappy certificate in MSPaint.

[You've unleashed an image-pocalypse. There are about twenty or so pictures here of Penny's Veevees turned into living puffballs. ...Well, except Finn the Vaporeon, but his fur's actually visible for once so that's as close to puffball as he's getting.

For Mahou Shoujo the Sylveon, her fur's surprisingly puffed for a Pokémon with a coat that lays flat. ...Her ribbons and bows are also puffed. Fern the Leafeon's only puffy on the non-leaf parts of her body, but she resembles something of a dandelion. Dusk the Umbreon is a black sphere of void (it appears the rings are covered by all of the puffed fur). Mr. Cuddles the Flareon looks like he's about to blow away from the floofage he's developed. And Zeus the Jolteon's fur is as flat and shiny as it could ever possibly be. Little bastard.]

Today's Veevee Happenings: Zeus discharged all of his static electricity at once and now all of my Veevees look like they were attacked with the force of 1000 balloons.

Today, your guy Clive modeled for Mr. Hassel’s portrait class! Check it out!

[It’s a short video! A group of students of varying ages sit at easels in an arc, all facing Clive, Uva uniform donned, in a pose with his hand slicking back his pompadour.

Audibly, Hassel asks Clive, “Are you sure? You’ll be sitting for a while like that.” “This is nothing for a young guy like me!” the ‘student’ replies, before the video cuts to a timelapse of the painting process. A few times, Hassel steps back in to correct Clive’s posture, the man looking a little more crushed each time.

Finally, the end portraits are revealed: the older students mostly show pieces closer to life, with one opting to draw Clive in a style closer to animanga instead. One younger student appears to have just given up on Clive’s pompadour, and drawn a hot dog on his head instead. Another student seems to have drawn Director Clavell. The youngest child has an attempt at some sort of portrait, but mostly made of stick arms and legs. After each portrait flashes by, all of the students stand together with theirs, and say smiling, “Thank you, Mr. Clive!” He’s holding his arm gently, clearly in a bit of pain from holding it up for an hour straight, and his smile is somewhere between genuine and a grimace.]

...If he had asked me before posting that, I'd tell him it was called katsudon. Usually breaded, fried pork and other toppings like green onions, round onions, and sometimes egg over rice. It's really really good!
