Helloooooo everyone, I know, this came out unexpectedly of me to randomly show up in this fandom instead of being stuck at Warrior Cats, but I was motivated in watching Monkey Wrench, which is currently my biggest interest :3

Most of the OCs are not mine, they belong to some peeps. I picked out the peeps from Hailey's Discord server. I actually do have 2 characters within the banner art(?), but, there's gonna be a list of who has who (all users will have their Discord username placed, so if you find your character in the art, screech here!)

I don't want to believe The Noise hates Noisette, but I honestly think that was the intention McPig had, judging by the comics he made about the characters.

That saddens me greatly, because there ARE women out there who are in loveless relationships with their male partners who hate them, and make "wife bad" boomer jokes. It's so goddamn depressing.

I love it when fans portray Noise and Noisette as a loving couple, being gremlins together. Because seriously, fuck that whole "ball and chain" bullshit.

I personally prefer to portray Noise and Noisette as both being in love, but Noise is afraid to express his love in front of others due to his own insecurities. Plus, he also has a crush on Peppino and thinks Noisette doesn't know (she does, and she accepts it completely). So, there's issues in their relationship, but Noise definitely loves Noisette.

So... yeah. That bit of canon can fuck off. Noisette deserves to be loved just like everyone else, whether you think she's annoying or not.

I feel like Monkey Wrench is being horribly overlooked just because it isn't full of characters that people want to ship/fuck.

There also aren't big name voice actors or fancy character shading, but honestly? This is a diamond in the rough that deserves more attention.

Zeurel has proven himself a very solid animator capable of creating impressive stuff all on his own, and as much as I like Helluva Boss, etc., Monkey Wrench is so wildly different from those shows/pilots, and doesn't rely on excessive profanity (which I personally don't mind, but just wanted to make note of) or fan service.

The character designs are a little more complex--particularly Shrike (who Zeurel has been developing and refining as a character for a very long time):

The facial animations/expressions on this character are just a joy to behold.

I've seen people call the look of the show "too 90's", as if that's a bad thing. Frankly, it's a breath of fresh air.

So, if you haven't already, take the time to give the pilot a watch. You won't regret it!
