Hiii just finished finals, sorry i’ve been gone for like…a year.
I’ve been struggling with time management, juggling between routines, assignments, projects, exploring myself further through personal work. College’s been beating my ass and self doubt sends me to battle with my sanity everyday o<—< but i’m back!! (at least for now i’m doing thesis next year💀) and hopefully i’ll be able to post more art!
[image is a drawing of phoenix and miles as old men; phoenix is balding but spiky as ever, dressed in a sweatervest, and he has his arm around edgeworth, who is in a coat and cravat, still with impeccable posture and using a walking stick. they are both smiling.]
I can't really tell if this question is rude and I apologise if it is. I love your artstyle a lot, but sometimes I wonder why you don't really seem to draw darker or even tanned skin tones?
That’s totally fine! Normally I only use my color palette and don’t pick any colors if their isn’t come from my palette, so if I want more color I have to mixed it by myself by using only that palette and it’s no wonder why my artwork always in tone. If you can see the darkest color in my palette it just a dark grey
And that was the problem because I can’t go any darker, so I have to use multiply or linear burn mode to make my art looks better
But nowadays I try to pick more colors from my palette if it’s necessary 😭
And I did tanned skin tone too! But some character that has medium to warm skin tone I made them as same skin tone as light skin tone😔
